EPISODE 11 of 22

1. Dan is annoyed when he finds out from reading a newspaper article that Steph wants to risk everything to try to take back Harper Mining. Sarah and Dennis stand by her and pledge their shares, as does Bill.
2. Jake and Steph face-off getting their make-up done before they appear in a TV interview. Finally Jake asks Steph to marry him! She finds this hilarious, and they go on to debate on camera. Steph questions Jake's capabilities by asserting that he is unable to negotiate a deal with an important Harper Mining client (Sheik Amahl). Jake says he doesn't want to get personal, and Steph asks what then would he call the marriage proposal he made just prior to the interview. Jake says he didn't get an answer. In reply, Steph stands up and pours a glass of water into his lap.
3. Meanwhile at Tara's, Sarah doesn't understand why Jessica is so upset at a low-cut dress that Sarah has selected for her. Jessica shows Sarah her scars, which she blames on her Aunt Jilly's neglectful care when she was young.
4. Tom tries to convince Sarah that they're not brother and sister. Sarah wants to just move on. Finally she advises him to go to Old Eden to visit Katey, the housekeeper. Sarah thinks she'll tell him that he IS Stephanie´s Harper son but Tom hopes to prove otherwise.
5. Battle plans are drawn up at Eden. Cassie offers her help. Steph welcomes the offer, but Dennis is not so keen.
6. Sarah's friend Angelo invites her to go out to a concert. She doesn't want to go at first but finally she agrees.
7. Dan confronts Steph about her fighting back for the company when she had promised not to. He wants to know who could have been so persuasive in changing her mind. Steph reluctantly confesses that it was Ahmal. Dan refuses to have lunch with Steph.
8. Instead, Dan lunches with Jilly, who tries to persuade him of her innocence in Phillip's suicide. Ahmal comes with Steph to the same restaurant. When Dan sees them he leaves. Jilly goes to say hello to them and affirms to herself that Steph and Ahmal were lovers years ago.
9. Jake is angry at being humiliated on the TV show. Jilly reveals to him that Ahmal is Tom's father. Anton arrives, and as she leaves, Jilly overhears something about Jake's visits to a cemetery.
10. Steph tells Ahmal that she wants to tell Dan the truth about their earlier relationship. She is afraid somebody else could do it before her.
11. Jilly "accidentally" reveals to Dan that Ahmal is Tom's father.
12. Dan is furious with Steph. Steph vainly tries to explain everything, but Dan is convinced she has been cheating on him with Ahmal for all the years.
13. Tom speaks to the very elderly and confused Katey at Old Eden. She refers him to the local nuns.
14. Jessica shows her scars to Dan, and he promises he can treat her.
15. Back at Harper Mining, Jake asks Steph if she has changed her mind yet about his proposal. Steph replies that she already has a husband. She is surprised that Jake knows about Tom and Ahmal.
16. Olive finds out for Jilly that Jake Sanders is Greg Marsden's brother.
17. It looks like Steph could win the battle. Anton advises Jake to try a sneaky move, or else he won't end up with anything - Steph or Harper Mining.
18. Steph manages to buy 51.2 % of the shares. Jilly joins the celebration and congratulates Steph. Dan remains cold.
19. Ahmal apologies to Steph for her problems with Dan. But he thinks Dan will eventually understand. They promise to always be close.
20. Steph goes triumphantly to Harper Mining to regain her office from Jake. Jake tries one last time to convince Steph to join him, then announces that he has transferred all active capital to his own company Sanders Investments an hour ago. Steph will ultimately be able to fight the illegal move, but only after years of costly battles in the courts. Steph is crushed. She has lost everything, and punches him before she runs from the office in tears.
