1. Jake rescues Jilly from the pool and revives her.


2. When Jilly tells Jake that Anton tried to drown her, Jake tells her that he's paid off Anton to get out of their lives.

 
3. One last time, Jake proposes marriage to Steph. She remains cold. "You did the frigid bit very well...Underneath all that Harper money, the style, there isn't a real woman at all", he sneers.

 
4. Dennis taunts Jilly that Jake is only marrying her because he couldn't get Stephanie.


5. Steph's thoughts turn to the missing son she adopted out when she was 18. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure is watching her from a distance.


6. Jilly tells Jake they're going to siphon all the company's funds into a Swiss bank account and leave the country.


7. Jake tells Jilly that her horse "Revenge" has been entered in the Melbourne Cup horse race, and they could make a fortune if they stay awhile and bet on it.


8. Jilly has been buying up big for the trip to Rio, and tells Jake she wants the number of the Swiss bank account as a wedding present.

 
9. Jake and Jilly get married.


10. Steph offers Dan some financial help to make a fresh start by re-opening the clinic on the island.

 
11. Things deteriorate between Sarah and Angelo when he takes up boxing again.


12. It looks like Jessica may have a future as an actress, and she'd have to stay in Sydney.


13. Sarah tearfully goes to Tom, telling him that she is still in love with him, and that things will never work out with Angelo.


14. With the flip of a coin, Johnno decides he must be on his way. "It's easier to have no regrets when you keep things this simple", he says.

 
15. Jake and Jilly are packed and ready to go. Steph has a proposition for Jake. Steph's horse Tara's Pride is also running in the Cup. Following Johnno's example, Steph asks Jake if he'd like to make a simple deal: winner takes all.

 
16. It's a deal. Jilly's yell of "NO!" echoes through the house.
