Former "Loving" star Amelia Heinle is joining "All My Children" in July as Mia,
a beautiful girl who will help Ryan through a tough time.

Ryan loses his beloved princess this week and subsequently asked to make an
agonizing choice after assasin Ilene mistakenly shoots Gillian rather than her target Anna
Devane, Ryan comes upon the gruesome discovery in their gothic love nest
when he walks in he thinks his sleeping beauty is napping but when he goes
to wake her up,he sees blood on his hands. Gillian has taken a bullet in the head and is whisked
off to the hospital and Ryan prays in the chapel Jake comes into the chapel and says that she is gone
for all intense and purposes she is gone, the machines are keeping her alive
she has zero brain activity but all her organs are healthy, but she is not alive.
In denial Ryan rushes to his wife's bedside and holds a vigil meanwhile cardiac patient Laura is
clinging to life and Doctors Joe, Jake and Alex consider Gillian as a heart transplant candidate
Ryan gets wind of their talking and imagine they're saying they want to take
her heart out to keep somebody else alive the grieving husband locks himself in Gillians
room until Leo arrives and insists he visit Laura and Ryan sees that laura is going to die.
Gillian is making no progress and it startd to sink in that maybe they are right .
Oh God, I get goose bumps telling you this said Mathison. It was such a bad
scene. I could hardly get through blocking. We had to go right to tape because
I was going to lose it. I say,''If Laura takes her heart,it won't die will it''?
Esta TerBlanche thought to herself she would have an easy time lying there
for a week but says it was really unbelievably hard. Everyone around her was
crying and it was so sad, she just wanted to cry. She had to think of the
silliest things not to cry and even in dress rehearsals she cried. After every
scene , she would cry with everyone. In a message to Ryan and Gillian fans TerBlanche says to keep
tuning in to watch to story unfold. She tells the fans not to get too upset yet and
continue to watch because there will be some interesting twists and surprises.
Leo and laura's wedding is a real heart stopper this week and it doesn't go
off without a hitch. She has second thoughts when she realizes leo doesn't love her
as much as leo wants to love laura, he can't be with her like he was with Greenlee
but there is part of Laura that wants to live selfishly these last few days
and wants to believe him and she's not under the guise that this is happy-ever-after.
Laura accepts leo's proposal and then tells Bianca that she loves her....as a friend.
The wedding is no girls dream, it is last minute and thrown together but it
is really precious. Brooke finds something old, something new etc.
It is not glamorous by any means Laura is in a wheelchair with oxygen. Before they are
promised husband and wife, Laura stops the wedding to ask Leo if this is really what he wants?
Leo reassures her, they are married and spirits are high...for awhile---it
is a celebration of life--she has everything she wants...for awhile and then
it hits her that it's not going to be hers for very long.....as her condition
deteriorates> Laura calls her family to be near her...it feels like a matter
of hours...it is....Laura goes into cardiac arrest.

like is this really what's good for him?" Allen explains.
Leo reasures her, they are married, and spirits are high...for a while. "It

hits her and that it's not going to be hers for long." Indeed, as her
condition deteriorates, Laura calls family to be near her. "It feels like a

ADDABBO OUT ON AMC, TERBLANCHE STAYS
It's official. Anthony Addabbo, who took over the part of Dimitri Marick on
All My Children in April, is vacating the role in the beginning of July. His
exit is storyline-dictated. Some sources speculate that AMC is making way for
original portrayer Michael Nader, who recently received probation for
drug-possession charges, to return to the role. ABC declined to comment
further on the rehiring of Nader. In other AMC news, Internet rumors that
Esta TerBlanche (Gillian) will also leave the show can be squashed. "She's
staying," reassures an AMC rep.
Boy band aficionados, set your VCRs. British trio BBMak will make a special
guest appearance on AMC on July 13, where they will perform in Mateo's newly
renovated nightclub, Sounds of Salsa.
