100 - Emotions in Motion
Dawson and Joey are in Dawson's room. Instead of sleeping over like Joey does every Saturday night, she feels that "our emerging hormones are destined to altar our relationship and I'm trying to limit the fallout". Dawson convinces her to spend the night and just be friends no matter how much body hair they aquire.
While filming the movie, Jen arrives in a cab and they introduce each other. Joey isn't impressed by the way the two guys are acting around the blond. We then meet Dawson's parents (Mitch and Gale Leery) when Dawson and Pacey interrupt them making out in the living room.
Joey returns home in her row-boat and we meet Bodie (the black boy-friend) and Bessie (Joey's pregnant sister). Joey has an attitude with Bessie.
We then see where Dawson and Pacey work (Screen Play Video) and meet Nellie Olson. Pacey is in ahh when Ms. Tamara Jacobs enters the store and flirts with him. She rents "The Graduate", a movie where the older woman Anne Bancroft seduces the younger man Dustin Hoffman.
Dawson shows Jen his bedroom/studio and we learn of how Dawson worships Spielberg in a god-like way. Jen and Dawson do a little flirting with Joey listening in.
Dawson wonders if his mom is sleeping with her co-anchor (she's a news woman) Bob. Joey insists that he's just looking for conflict.
Jen enters her grandfathers room and talks to him, but he doesn't answer as he is in a comma. She then has a talk with her grandmother who calls Dawson and Joey "the wrong element". They then get into a disagreement as Grams is religious and Jen is an atheist.
The scene moves to school where Pacey meets his new English teacher, Ms. Jacobs. Dawson is left out of a film class he wanted into. He shows Mr. Gold (the film teacher) his movie knowledge, but isn't let in to class. Joey reveals that her Mother died of cancer and her dad is in jail for conspiracy to traffic marijuana in excess of 10,000 lb.. She also makes sure Jen knows that Dawson likes Jen.
Bessie gives Joey some beauty tips for her night out with the gang as they go to the movies (The Rialto). Joey asks Jen if she is a virgin and she says she is. Pacey spots Tamara so he goes and sits beside her. Dawson holds Jen's hand but Joey interrupts and asks Jen "Are you a size queen?" to have Dawson bring her away. Benji (Mr.Gold) returns to his seat beside Tamara to find Pacey. Pacey ends up getting punched in the face by another guy.
Joey and Dawson argue over their new relationship. Ever since Jen showed up, he’s ignored her.
Dawson walks Jen home and is about to kiss her, but Grams interrupts.
Pacey meets Tamara on the dock where they kiss.
Dawson returns home to find Joey in his closet and he tells her how she is only a friend to him.
Joey leaves and sees Mrs. Leery kissing Bob in the driveway.
