101 - Dirty Dancing
We see a video clip of Dawson's movie where Pacey and Joey are about to kiss, but Joey refuses. Joey tells Dawson that things move faster in New York. He says that he doesn't have sex on the brain. Joey responds "I'm not suggesting leather straps and Crisco". Dawson asks "Explain to me the Crisco?"
Dawson tells Mr.Gold that the principle gave him permission to have study hall in his class. Mr.Gold agrees.
Pacey needs to talk to Ms.Jacobs about the kiss. She tells him that nothing happened.
At lunch, they agree to kill off Joey's character and put her behind the camera with Dawson, and introduce Jen into the movie.
We learn of the film classes film, "Helmets of Glory", written, staring, and directed by Cliff thw quarterback himself. It chronicles last seasons football season.
Cliff has a talk with Jen and offers to show her around the school, and even go to the dance with her.
Dawson goes to his dad to talk about the mechanics of kissing. Dawson practices on a model face of Joey's (for the film) while Joey secretly watches from above.
Joey then over-hears Mrs.Leery giggling and kissing on the phone in the closet. Joey tells her she knows about her affair with Bob.
Joey is covered in fake blood from her death scene, so Jen helps her clean up. They have a talk about each others bodies.
While filming the movie, it calls for a kiss between Jen and Pacey, but Pacey jokes around and goes crazy with the kiss. Dawson decides to cut the kiss. Dawson invites Jen to movie night, but she has made plans to go to the dance with Cliff.
Dawson is furious. He rambles to Joey about how Cliff's movie sense is terrible. "I don't think his cinematic prowess is the attraction" Joey comments. Dawson rambles on about what Cliff and Jen are doing at that very moment. He decides to go to the dance, and Joey agrees to go with him.
Joey runs into Mrs.Leery and tells her that her father cheated on her mother and how it almost destroyed the whole family. Mrs. Leery asks Joey if Dawson knows. He then comes down the stairs and asks, "Do I know what?". Joey bails her out by adding, "How to dance".
At the dance, Jen and Cliff are dancing as Joey and Dawson enter. Joey and Dawson hit the dance floor to spy on Jen. Dawson tries to cut into Jen and Cliffs dance. Jen ends up walking out on the two of them.
On Pacey's way home he bumps into Ms.Jacobs on the docks. They kiss again. Pacey’s a believer that sometimes it’s right to do the wrong thing.
Dawson apologizes to Jen, and they have a dance on the docks.
