104 - Blown Away
Dawson and Joey are watching disaster movies, to work as a seance for a local hurricane. It worked. Capeside schools are canceled. Gale and Bob then appear on the TV news. Dawson is upset and decides to call it a night.
Stores and people board up and lock down everything. Mitch goes to invite Jen and Grams over to stay at there house. Dawson tell Gale that his dad is a real great guy. We learn that Bob had been assigned to cover the hurricane. Dawson "accidentally" mixes up the name of the hurricane (Chris) to hurricane Bob. Gale begins to suspect that Dawson knows about her affair.
Pacey is left with his brother Doug, a police officer. We learn that Pacey and Doug's father is the Chief of Police of Capeside. Pacey teases Doug about being gay. After all, why would he chose a profession that required him to dress like one of the village people? Doug insists he's not.
Bodie and Bessie are arguing over weather or not there son will be circumcised. Joey votes they go to Dawson’s before the hurricane hits.
Pacey and Doug go to Tamara’s. Doug starts to flirt with her. Pacey doesn't like that, but he can't stop it.
Jen and Grams go to the Leery home. Her grandfather is in the hospital just for some tests. Dawson acts cold towards Jen. Grams is introduced to Bodie and Bessie. She isn't happy with the two's situation.
Dawson is listening in on Gale's phone conversation with Bob. Dawson makes his presence known, and makes sure she knows he knows what is going on. Gale tries to talk to talk to Dawson about it, but he tells her that she is telling the wrong person. "Husband, spouse, mate, better half" is who she needs to tell this to.
Dawson tries to let his emotions out with Jen, but ends up insulting her. She runs out of his room. Dawson then hears a sneeze from the closet. He opens it up to see Joey sitting there. Joey wants to pretend they are kids again and act out Jaws in his closet. Dawson is pre-occupied with the things his mother has done. Joey says he should be thankful that he even has a mother.
On the TV we see Bob in the storm. Mitch says that he hopes Bob is all right. Joey says that he shouldn't worry about Bob, then leaves. Gale tells Joey that she's ending the affair.
At Tamara’s, Pacey tells her that Doug is 100% gay man. Doug then walks in on them while the two are fooling around.
Gale tells Mitch how over the past 62 days, every time she has made an excuse to leave the house, she has been having sex with another man. Mitch is speechless. The power goes off. Mitch is looking for a lantern, but when he can't find it, he starts to throw stuff around.
Doug and Tamara start to get to know each other better, with Pacey sitting and watching them.
Grams gets into an argument with Bodie and Bessie over the fact that their child will be identified as different, do to it's white mother and black father.
Jen and Joey have a talk about how Dawson is living in a fantasy world. They also ask the question of weather Dawson has a pistol or a rifle. Joey thinks slightly above average.
Dawson is cleaning up the mess his dad made of his miniature restaurant, when Grams comes to help. She tells him that he should forgive and give a second chance.
Doug invites Tamara out on a date. A nice romantic date. she says OK, but not a real date. Doug asks why? She says because he's gay. Doug pulls out his gun and tells Pacey to tell her that he is not gay. Pacey says he's not.
Mitch is sitting in his car, and Gale enters. He tells her he doesn't want to love her anymore. He chooses to hate her now. He yells at her to get out of the car, then pulls away.
The storm is over. Tamara tells Doug that she won't go out with him as she is seeing someone else.
Jen tells Dawson how she was sexualized way too young, and how she was caught with someone in her parents bed. Jen wants Dawson to help her start over.
Mitch returns home. Gale explains how she has no reason for what she did. They just sit silently.
Dawson apologizes for his actions on Joey. She is also sorry for playing the mother card. They go into the closet and act out Jaws like they used to do.
