108 - In The Company of Men
Dawson is sitting by his window staring at Jen's house. Joey tells him to get over it.
Billy climbs up into Jen's room. After looking around, he lays down on her bed. Grams enters and calls Jen up. Billy says that he found out that her and Dawson split, so he stuck around. Jen says she's not looking for someone to fill Dawson's place.
Dawson runs into Billy. Billy shows Dawson that they share common ground now. Billy invites him to go up to a club in Providence with him. That's exactly what Dawson needs. To get away from Jen and see some other women.
Joey is walking to school, when Warren (a football player) offers her a lift. She declines. She's waiting for Ted Bundy. Joey then accepts the ride. She has her head out the top of the Jeep. Warren asks her if the air's cold, or is she just happy to see him. He tells her she talks too much after Joey rambles on about how she and Dawson are only friends. He comments on how Joey is obviously a virgin. She says it's by choice.
Billy and Dawson are walking through the halls when Dawson tells Pacey of their plan. Pacey wants to tag along. Billy says it's OK. Dawson just has to hand in his math homework first. "Walk on the wild side, Dawson". Billy tells Jen and Joey that he is taking them to a whorehouse. The three walk out. Jen asks Joey if she slept with Warren. Joey asks why she would even ask that. Warren is telling everyone she did.
Joey confronts Warren in the cafeteria. He says that this can be a win-win situation. Joey calls him a bastard. He then loudly says "I never said I'd be your boyfriend". Joey walks away with everyone snickering. Jen says that she knows a way to get Warren back.
On the ferry, Pacey is trying to prove how Dawson will always be the good Leery boy. Billy points out these two guys who are harassing everyone. Banana-in-the-tail-pipe and slashing tires come up as possibilities for revenge. Dawson says he has a better idea. Have you ever seen the movie "American Graffiti"?
Abby Morgan calls Joey Mrs.Warren Gary. Joey starts to cry. She tells Abby that the pee strip turned blue. Joey says that Warren said it's her problem, not his. Abby leaves the room, upset with Warren, while Joey continues on with her business.
Dawson is attaching a hook to the rear axle of the two guys truck. He ties the other end to the ship and returns to Billy's car. As all the cars are leaving, Pacey stands up and moons the two guys. The guys in the truck hit the gas, but when the chain snags tight, the rear axle, and wheels fall off the truck.
At the bar, Billy asks Dawson if he has picked out his companion for the evening. Dawson's too busy playing pool. Pacey however doesn't let pool get in the way of business.
Joey is at the college fair at school. Mrs. Tingle sits down with Joey and asks her to think about joining the family living course to help her with her soon to be child.
Warren goes to his locker only to see the sticker: "Anyone Can Make A BABY! It Takes A Real Man To Be A FATHER" He tears it off, opens up his locker and finds a baby doll, and baby things inside.
Billy tells Dawson that times runnin out, he better find someone. Dawson notices a lady with the words on her shirt "FILM THREAT". He goes over, says hi. She kids with him and turns around to talk with her friends. Pacey tells a girl he's the drummer for Pearl Jam. She responds "Your dumber than who?". Dawson learns her name (Nina) after he rambles on and on.
Joey goes over to Jen's and tells her they need to call it off. It ends up turning into a Dawson thing. Now that Jen and Dawson aren’t together, Joey has nobody to blame when he treats her like one of the guys.
Outside the club, Dawson "launches into a pretty good Rainman impression". Dawson tells Nina the reason why he came to the club. She offers Dawson the opportunity to spend the night watching TV, but Dawson turns it down. He kisses her, then Nina drives away.
At school, Abby tells Jen that she knows Joey made it all up, as Warren "couldn't fertilize a garden". Jen goes over and tells Joey. She tries not to laugh.
Dawson has an argument with Billy over Jen. Billy decides to leave, but not with Pacey and Dawson.
Warren apologizes to Joey, then offers to make it up to her by going out this weekend. Joey declines.
Dawson returns home with Joey waiting in his room. He wants to tell Joey everything about his day, but is too tired. He tells Joey to wait. Joey says she can wait. (sub-text anyone?)
