Michelle Hurd joins the Special Victims Unit as Detective Monique Jeffries. Hurd’s television credits include recurring roles on "The Practice," the comedy "Malcolm & Eddie," as well as NBC’s "Another World." Hurd has also guest starred on NBC’s "Law & Order," and "The Cosby Mysteries" as well as "New York Undercover," and "Players." On film, Hurd will be seen in the upcoming Sydney Pollack feature "Random Hearts" with Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas.
