Episode Guide

Apoligises for the formatting on this page - very much under construction.....

Welcome to my episode guide - well, it's more like a list of random thoughts and musings that I jot down when I'm watching an episode than a proper guide as such. A warning to the chaos and ? that is my mind.

Again I warn people that I am a slasher - always have been and always will be! - and as such, this guide will include slashy bits and/or comments. If I can get html figured out *heh* I will try and put different bits in different colours so you know what to look for/to avoid.

It's very disjointed done in a bullet point fashion. Just bits that struck me as I was watching. I've been watching the entire first two seasons back to back over a very short period so I'm sorta on overload at the present! Kinda like caffiene jitters.....

Season 1

4) Don't Pet the Teacher

5) My Future's so Bright I Gotta Wear Glasses

6) Worst Night of Your Life

12)16 Blown to 35

13)Mean Streets and Pastel Houses
Basic Plotline:
Tom goes undercover in a punk gang.
At the beginning of the episode we see a punk kid spraying graffiti on a wall and then what appears to be two gangs fighting it out in a race between a car and a truck. In the melli that follows one kid manages to be pulled from the truck and falls onto the ground. The car comes to a stop and we see the driver turn and under his breath will the kid to get up. He does, but we can see he's not looking too good. His friends help him back into the back of the truck and we cut to outside of a police station where the kids who were in the car have been waiting for one of them to emerge from the station. They're not happy and it ends with one of them spray painting one of the squad cars in the lot outside.
I'm not too sure I like the plotline of this episode, as it all seemed a little easy the way it is all concluded. Not in what happens to the kid who was driving, that was nicely realisitic but I'm not sure everything sat right with me.
Having said that though, I enjoyed the episode emmensly. From Doug's insistance that he be the right man for the job to Hanson's physical transformation (of which I personally *loved*) to the wonderful friendship that began between Hanson and the lead kid under Lancer. It was all good. If you want to drool over Hanson/Johnny Depp in punk gear, sid vicious hair, combat/'scottish plaid bondage pants' and leather jacket, this is the episode for you.
