This is the page
where I'm gonna put down any ideas for stories. I had a burst of
inspiration last night so there's 16 here already!
Most of the ideas are in the form of quotes or questions of behaviours or ideas created from certain plotlines in the show. Some might lead onto stories or be combined, others are just points to be questioned in regard to Tom and Chakotay and their 'relationship'.
Feel free to use them as inspiration of you get any, but let me know about anything you write, mainly cos I'm an nosy sod and want to read everything!! :OD
The ideas come in points such as bits of dialogue from the show or simple ideas of reactions or reasons for certain beahviour etc.
1) "First time
in 10 years I've felt I've had a life to risk."

2) Chakotay's
promise of safeguarding after Tom saved his life form the Ocampan caves
in 'The Caretaker.
3) "Well I guess
I'm yours then."

(ie. Tom's seeming lack of self worth and resignation
that he is basically used by people)
4) "What's your
price *this* time?"
Chakotay to Tom after he beams aboard Voyager for the
first time after the array in 'The Caretaker'
(it struck me that this could be inferring to something that occured
between them in the past ie. 'this time' -
yes it's probably referring to the fact he betrayed the Maquis for a 'price'
but it could also be read into as
something else)

7) Tom's risk-taking and Chakotay's reaction/realisation of/from it
8) Tom's *reasons* for risk-taking
9) "What I remember
most about being a child was the times I spent in my room crying.
It was quiet, people wuold would leave me alone, I'd lock the door, read
play games..."

ie. Tom's flashbacks to prison.
