The Lines You Love!!
Part Nine
YOUR A KEEPER!

Lucky: Because what we have -- it's more important than my family mess. You know what you are? You're a keeper."
Lizzie: "I'm a keeper of what?"
Lucky: "You keep making me love you. {They kiss}"

OUR FUTURE!
Lucky: "No. Mom and Dad, they know how to take care of themselves and LuLu. I'm starting to think I need to get something ready for us, for you and me."
Lizzie: "Money? How much?"
Lucky: "Well, enough to last a while if we need it. Three or four months, even."
Lizzie: "Well, you know I've got some saved up from working –"
Lucky: "Elizabeth, Elizabeth. Not to be chauvinistic, but this is something that falls under my job heading, ok?"
Lizzie: "Oh, don't be so –"
Lucky: "I want to do this. This is our future. I think it's time I started taking care of it."
Lizzie: "I like the sound of me being a part of your future."
Lucky: "Good, because you are. You better get to school or you're going to miss that test."
Lizzie: "I love you." {She quickly kisses him and then leaves}

Lizzie: {Seeing Lucky come down the steps with a bag} "You going somewhere?"
Lucky: "Yeah, I'm going to be out of town for a couple of days. I got a job."
Lizzie: "Doing what?"
Lucky: "Somebody needs something delivered by someone he can trust."
Lizzie: "Jason?"
Lucky: "You can't really ask me a lot of questions about it. But I promise it's nothing that's going to get me in trouble. And the pay will provide the money I think we need."
Lucky: "Cool. {He kisses her} I better go. I'll be back in a couple of days, ok?" Lizzie: "Be careful."
Lucky: {He starts to walk off, but turns back} "Elizabeth, you're just too beautiful, you know that? {He kisses her again} I love you." {He leaves}

GIFTS OF LOVE

Lizzie: "Isn't this wonderful?"
Lucky: "Which part?"
Lizzie: "Just making plans. I don't know. For so long, my life was about getting over something, and now it's about getting ready."
Lucky: "That's a good point. Maybe we should start by getting ready for the weather." {He pulls out a scarf, and puts it on her}
Lizzie: "Wait. Wait. Wait. What is -- what is this?"
Lucky: "Oh, it's so cute."
Lizzie: "Lucky. What –"
Lucky: "What do you think? You like it?"
Lizzie: "I -- I think this better be my last gift."
Lucky: "No, actually, it's not the last gift. This is the last gift."

WE COMPLETE EACH OTHER
Lucky: "Well, I meant that. See, I had a lot of time to think while I was in Canada. And most of it was about us and just about how much fun we have together. I mean, how comfortable we are with each other, how you make me feel. And I -- I don't see that changing, Elizabeth. I don't. And I don't see myself finding it with anyone else. So all these dreams about the future, all these moments that we want to share, for me, they're real. I'm promising you now, on my life, no matter what, I'll be with you forever. Do you feel the same way?"

Lucky:"And now all I think about is the future -- that's it -- with you right by my side, smiling that incredible smile. I want to be able to count on that. I know we're young, and believe me, I know that stuff happens that you don't except, but what I know even more is that there'll never be another girl for me no matter what. You're who I want to be with, ok? {He puts his hand up to her face} Can you say the same thing? Wait, wait, wait. I want more. Can you -- can you say the same and promise it forever?"

Lizzie: "This has been the best night of my life so far -- again. I keep thinking, can't get any better, and you just top it."
Lucky: "Guess you'd better get used to that, huh? It's time to walk you home. Elizabeth? One day you won't ever have to leave." {They kiss}

Lizzie: {Smiling} "One day."
Lucky: "Aren't you on break yet?"
Lizzie: "Lucky, you just walked me here from school 20 minutes ago."
Lucky: "It seems longer. You want me to leave? Am I driving you crazy?"
Lizzie: "When it comes to driving me crazy, you're a zero. My sister does it, my Gram does it, every third person at school can do it, but you -- you don't even register on the scale."
REMEMBERING RUBY
Lucky: "I don't know where I'd go if you weren't here. I mean, it's not that I hate my parents. I don't. But I can't go there with what I feel. You're that place for me now."
Lizzie: "I wish there was something I could do for you."
Lucky: "You're here. Ruby got to see how happy that made me. She liked you, you know that."
Lizzie: "Not at first. But, then, neither did you."
Lucky: "Well, you proved you have staying power. {They hug} Stay in my life forever."
