THE LUCKY LADY

VICKY and JAKE stand near the doorway. Jake puts a hand on Vicky's stomach and bends down, placing his ear on her belly. She smiles and puts a hand on his head. As they stand there silently, STEVEN and KIRKLAND rush over, laughing. They join Jake and put their heads against Vicky's belly.

MARLEY sits at a table, her hand extended in front of her, and she turns her ring around. TYRONE walks up behind her and leans over her, putting his arms around her shoulders. She twists her head back to kiss him and he smiles at her.

ETTA MAE sits with DONNA talking quietly. As they talk, silent tears slip down Etta Mae's cheeks and Donna reaches out to take her hand.

KC watches them from the kitchen doorway, her face miserable. Suddenly, she turns and rushes back ino the kitchen.

CHRIS reaches for his coat, and a picture falls from one of his pockets. He reaches down to pick it up and we see that it's a picture of Toni. He runs his finger over it, silently, then, with a quiet look to everyone else in the room, he leaves.

HUDSON FARM

JOSIE walks the living room, CJ in her arms, as she bounces him slightly. She places a gently kiss on the baby's forehead, smiling at him. As she does, GARY walks up behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders, and leaning over to peer at CJ. They look at one another and pure happiness fills their faces.

SHARLENE sets a pie onto the dining room table. As she does, JOHN walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her waist. She reaches back to cup his face in her hands, and he kisses her on the neck.

GREG stands at the window of the living room, watching his parents and his sister and brother-in-law wordlessly. He glances out of the window, a wistful expression on his face.

LORNA'S HOUSE

CASS, LILA, and CHARLIE stand by the tree, talking quietly. Cass puts an arm around Lila's shoulders, pulling her to him. Lila kisses his cheek, then pulls Charlie to them. They share a family hug. MORGAN walks over, a huge grin on his face, and grabs all three of them in a bear hug as they laugh.

A worn-looking HAYLEY comes out of the kitchen, moving slowly towards the couch. TITO follows her, taking her arm and helping her to sit. She glances up at him gratefully, and smiles. He sits next to her and they begin talking. As they continue talking, Hayley looks down, twisting her hands, and a tear runs down her face. Tito reaches out and wipes the tear away, then continues talking to her.

JENNA stands to the side, watching them, a puzzled look on her face.

SERGEI sits on the floor near the tree with GABRIELLE, who picks up presents one by one and hands them to him. He grins at her and she throws herself into his arms. LORNA watches them from across the room. FELICIA comes up behind her and gives her a questioning look. Lorna shakes her head and disappears back into the kitchen.

CORY MANSION

RACHEL carries ELIZABETH and CARL carries CORY as they descend the living room towards the tree. They put the twins down and the two children go running towards the tree. As PAULINA follows with DANTE, he struggles to get down, trailing his younger aunt and uncle to the Christmas tree. JOE and Paulina. Rachel and Carl watch the three kids go through the gifts, smiles on their faces.

REMY stands back, unsure of whether or not she's a part of the events in front of her. Paulina notices her uncertainty and walks over to get her daughter to join them.

MATT stands in the foyer, holding JASMINE. He picks up the phone as if to dial, then puts it down, shaking his head. He walks into the living room with the other members of the household.

AMANDA follows him, walking through the living room and out to the patio, shivering as the cold hits her. She stares out over the estate, as tears begin to roll down her face. Moving away from the door so that she's not visible to the people inside, she succumbs to her grief and pain, sobbing intensely.

FADE OUT
