Dawson's Creek Daily Chat
This IRC chat hosted by Fan Forum is the best out there, not too ridiculously overpopulated
so you can't enjoy the chat yet there are enough people there to make chatting a whole lot
of fun. The stability of the IRC system is far better because you don't get dropped off
as easily as Java chat and it's little better for the slower connections. And if you're
there at the right time, you can chat with DCD's excellent staff. (Or me, for that matter.)
Fan
Forum's Dawson's Creek Message Board
This board is one of the most engaging out there.
I've been a regular over there for quite a while now and on some days get so addicted I can't
seen to get anything else done. Watch out for scary couple wars though. Fan
Forum also has boards dedicated to Spoilers,
Katie
Holmes, Kerr
Smith, Jason
Behr and Fan
Fiction, among many other shows and interests. They've recently added boards for both James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson, so I figured I'd let y'all know. And hey, could you do Goldenboy and Kenn a favor and please get to clicking on their banner ads, your clicks keep this excellent community afloat. updated review 12/4/00
Mighty Big TV
A hilarious site!!! One of my favorites. MBTV used to be Dawson's Wrap, but they've since
expanded to wrap up episodes of almost every show out there. But the extra bonus is their
forums area, where you can post on a variety of Dawson's Creek topics, from general Dawson messages
to areas specifically related to each of the main characters.
Yahoo! Dawson's Creek Chat
If you're not already registered with Yahoo!, you'll have to follow the link and set up an account
first then redirect yourself back to the Creek room. You can chat either java or html based, but
the room is usually heavily populated by unsavory or very, very young chatters.
Official WB Creek Chat
Very well populated, this chat site offers you different chat software possibilities from
iChat to java and html-based. There were a whole bunch of people there, last I checked,
and the age range seemed slightly older than Yahoo! And, as a bonus, I didn't get hit on
once while I chatted with some folks about the show.
alt.tv.dawsons-creek
If you like usenet, this group's
for you. The posters have been getting younger and younger though. Occasional spoilers and
info you might not get anywhere else.

Having a love/hate relationship with the show? Well, on the days you're feeling the hate side
(rarely!), you can fly on over to this newsgroup and share your feelings with others that might
be feeling the same way. it should be said that almost no one ever posts here.
WB's
Dawson's Creek Message Boards
These message boards, courtesy of Warner Brothers, tend to
have lots of spoilers, a bit of cliquey-ness and whatnot, they're not as fun as the Dawson's
Wrap forums, but they're well populated and you can post on tons of DC topics.
EOnline's Watch with Wanda
On Monday's at 6pm EST, check in with Wanda to find out what she knows about all our favorite
shows... she's notoriously wrong about a lot of stuff, but you never know when she might get
lucky and happen onto some good spoilers. Check here
for transcripts.
I
Hate Jen -- Discuss
There's a ton of message boarding to be had at IHJ, and it's not only about bashing Jen Lindley.
Each character has their own board, there's one for spoilers and gossip, a fanfic board to post your
fic and comment on other people's, and of course, a place to chat down Jen.
eGroups.com
DC Lists
Scroll past the ridiculous regional listings that have nothing to do with anything,
and you'll find (at my last check) 399 DC email lists to choose from... Sub to enough
of them, and your inbox will fill up every five minutes.
Capeside
Message Board
I'm not a very big fan of threaded message boards such as these, I think that
they look just too confusing, but there's a decent amount of action on this one.
eFanGuide's DC Forum
eFG is like a monetized Fan Forum, but without the multitudes that ff pulls.
That said, they do have a DC board and there is interesting conversation to be had.
Official CTS DC Chat
Sometimes official ain't all that good... In less than five minutes in the main chat room "The Lobby," I was getting private messages up the wazoo with alluring messages such as "Hey, wanna chat, Brandi baby?" Ummmm, not so much, but thanks. Yuck. Maybe it was a bad day to check it out, who knows... 12/4/00
Official CTS DC Messageboards
On the other hand, the messageboard over at the offical site aren't half as bad. Not to say that I found worlds of intriguing conversation over there or anything, but at least the general demeanor was slightly more, mature. Well, kinda... well, not really... but hey, I didn't get hit on. There are a bunch of different boards here and they're pretty well populated, so it can't all be crap, right? 12/4/00
