CHAPTER 8

Cameron couldn't sit there and do nothing he had to help Amanda and his future family he couldn't let them die. Amanda contraction where still the same fifteen minutes a part. He was happy that it was Amanda first babies because sometimes with the first it could be longer labour and they needed time to find a warm spot for them. He told Amanda "that they had to get out of the car and walk and try to find a warm spot." Amanda said "I can't walk the pain is so bad." Cameron looks at her at her and said "I know it is rough but if you want these babies to survive we got to do this I will help you come on." He finally got Amanda's attention. She went with him.

Cameron pulled out his first aid kit with him from the trunk. They seem to walk for miles with snow and bitter wind blowing around them. Amanda's contractions were getting worse she was screaming in pain and they were only ten minutes a part she couldn't walk anymore she falls to the ground. Cameron realizes she can't walk and picks her up in his arms. He carriers her. It is very hard to do this because every time Amanda has a contraction she is kicking her feet everywhere and hitting Cameron in the face with her arms. He had to find a place soon before these babies were born. Or the babies and Amanda would die. The contractions are getting worse now. Amanda feels like she has to push now and tells Cameron "I have to push." Cameron was stern with her "You can't push now the babies will die" "The pressure is too strong, I can't wait." She cried. Cameron then says"Amanda, you have to focus on your breathing to help with the pressure." And Cameron does this with her for many miles with her Amanda is getting desperate.

When he was starting to lose hope, he says a small prayer and when he opens his eyes in a distance, he sees a barn. Amanda was getting too much stress to wait any longer. Cameron shows her the barn he sees Amanda feeling relieve seeing this she tries harder and focusing on her breathing. Finally it seems like an eternity. Cameron reaches Amanda to a barn. Cameron makes a bed for her and the babies out of straw and hay and starts a warm fire for them. Cameron finds blankets in the barm to keep Amanda warm and other blankets to keep the babies warm for when the babies are born. Amanda can't take the pressure anymore and cries in pain this is it Cameron, I have to push. Quickly Cameron sees a sink in the barn and quickly washes up and finds some towels and brings them to Amanda. Cameron removes Amanda's pants and gets her in position to have the babies. The next contraction he tells Amanda to push. And she does this the last ten minutes but nothing is happening Amanda is going in stress. Cameron was wondering what is going wrong and Amanda was so much in pain Yelling "Help me Cameron, I can't take the pain anymore. Cameron never delivered a baby before and has to think fast. He decides to examine her to see whether the babies are in place. He realizes that the first baby is in breach position. So he had to turn the baby around Amanda was yelling at Cameron "This hurts when will this be over and are my babies going to be alright." Cameron then tells her "The babies are in breach I have to turn them around. He works hard at this trying to do his breathing with Amanda. He realizes that imbilicle cord is wrapped around the baby neck so he has to remove it from the baby's neck. When he finally does all that he tells Amanda to push and after few times of that Cameron could see the head he shows this to Amanda and gets her to stop her pushing till he turns the baby gentle so he can get the neck out properly Both Cameron and Amanda were very excited. Finally after all that Amanda could push again and with the next push her baby boy is born. The baby is strong kicking his feet and moving his arms like crazy and crying so loud. Cameron smiles at Amanda and tells her she has a boy. Amanda was in tears. "Oh let me hold him, Cameron." Cameron tells her to hold on he goes in his first aid kit and get some scissors and cuts the imbilicle cord and washes the baby off gentle and hangs Amanda the baby in Amanda arms in a towel. They could only look at the baby for a second and Amanda had the urge to push again so Cameron places the baby in a manger he made for the baby. They start to work on the other baby doing the same things this time there was another baby born but it was a girl but something was wrong Cameron and Amanda didn't hear any crying. Amanda was crying "what is wrong with our baby Cameron try to smack the baby bottom but there was nothing. Was their baby dead?

CHAPTER 9

Cameron and Amanda are very concerned. Is the baby is okay? Cameron realizes her heart beating but she was purple in the face because she couldn't get air. Amanda starts crying losing hope. Them Cameron notices the problem the baby girl had a lot of mucus in her mouth once Cameron moves that their baby really sends out a loud cry. Both Cameron and Amanda thought it was the best sound to hear. At once when Cameron put the baby girl in a towel they had to use clean rags for diapers because they didn't have any diapers on them. Amanda took the baby from Cameron and started feeding her off her breast. The baby boy was wailing too because he was hungry. Cameron tried to keep him content till Amanda was finished with their baby girl. When Cameron talks to his son, his voice seems to calm the baby. And the baby would look at him with these big green eyes he looked at Cameron very content.

Baby boy looks so much like Cameron and the girl looked like Amanda. Amanda felt another contraction she thought she was going to have another baby but it was just the after birth. So Cameron got that out, examined Amanda and found out she ripped and she needed stitches. So he took thread out of his first aid kit and needle and stitches her up. Amanda didn't feel in pain she was so content with their babies and was now feeding the boy while Cameron stitched her up. Cameron was trying to find a way to bring his family to the hospital to see if his family was all right. He didn't know at the time Gary was looking for them. Lucky he knew where Cameron was going to go hiking and he saw their car broken down and followed their foot steps and found them in the barn. Very surprised seeing Cameron and Amanda with there new family. Once Cameron saw his brother he pulls out a cigar and says welcome Bro and come celebrate our little girl and baby boy. Gary goes to the babies. Amanda picks up the boy for him to hold. Gary couldn't believe the resemblance. He looked like Cameron. He talks and coo's to the baby and Cameron laughs and says to Gary he likes you uncle Gary and he laughs. Them Gary getting seriously "who deliver the babies and why here.". Cameron said "I did and no it wasn't easy, we almost lost our girl but it was just mucus in her mouth that I got it out. The car broke down so I brought Amanda here I will tell you one thing Gary it was miracle seeing our little ones born and I being a part of it to make it happened." Amanda told Gary "She wouldn't change a thing she thought it was the most beautiful miracle she ever experienced and that Cameron was wonderful through the whole thing. Gary congratulated them then used he a cell phone to call them an ambulance. A newspaper man came down and also TV news man to. They were on the paper front page of Bay City newspaper for their miracle babies and the news to. They tape the news and kept many clipping of the newspaper article. The ambulance brought them safely to the hospital.

CHAPTER 10

When they got to the hospital, the doctor was both proud of Cameron and Amanda they both did well by bringing these babies in the world. He also checks Amanda stitching that Cameron did. The doctor was very impressed. The stitches were perfect. He told Cameron that he should become a doctor. Cameron actually said he was going to look into becoming a doctor because he actually like helping people now that he had a family and a soon to be wife he had to make extra money provide for his family. The doctor check both babies out and they where both find healthy as could be. The Doctors asked if they picked names for the babies yet. Cameron and Amanda said yes on the way to the hospital they picked their names. The boy name was Michael Alan Sinclair and the girl baby name was Sandra Hope Sinclair. The doctor said you pick really nice names and he gave each of the babies their name tag.

When the doctor left Gary said "that he had a surprise for them and that when Josi walks in with their new baby. They had a baby girl that they got yesterday after the adopting agency called them to pick up their baby. Amanda's eyes were so big when she saw Josi's baby, she asks "to hold her." Cameron just smiled at Amanda how she reaches out for the baby. He thought to himself this lady of mine is so loving and is going to make a perfect mother. Amanda asks "What is her name?" "Gary and I named her Stacy Anne Sinclair." Josi replied. Both Cameron and Amanda had to agree that was a beautiful name. Both Cameron and Josi notice a glow in Gary and Josi that they were very happy that they had they had a baby. They where both happy for them because they knew for the longest time they had the roughest time. Josi and Gary also got a kick out Sandra and Michael too. They thought they were the cutest babies on earth not counting their own though. All of sudden Michael was screaming for food. So Gary then told Josi this is our exit so they say good bye to Cameron and Amanda and their new family. Cameron passes Michael to her and holds Sandra till Michael finished her feeding because she was hungry too. He was playing with Sandra at times Sandra looks like she was smiling at daddy.

Amanda had to smile about that he looks so cute. After she was finished feeding Michael, they swoop babies. Amanda asks Cameron to change Michael Diaper. Cameron looks at Amanda "Me?, change diapers." "Yes" says Amanda "You're a daddy now you got to learn to" Cameron had to hold his nose Michael did a big smelly one and says to Amanda "I thought this was a mommy job." Amanda laughs "Not in the nineties it isn't, both parents do it now." So Cameron does as what is said Amanda had to laugh because Cameron was taken too long and baby Michael peed at Cameron face." Cameron yells out "OOOOH gross and cleans himself off?" Amanda couldn't help but laugh and said "You haven't learnt the trick yet Cameron When you change a boy. You always make sure his front it closed with something till you're done. Cameron gives this face at Amanda "It wasn't funny and thanks for telling me that now." But they both got a good laugh about it later and Cameron did think it was funny after awhile. Mean while at Josi's and Gary's house the two were also enjoying their little one. They had the happiest smile on their faces. There little one was cooing away and kicking her feet. Gary and Josi just watch her and they laugh with happiness.
