PART 15

Amanda had bad nightmares all night long. She was in bad way after that all she went through with Cameron and shouting and that. The doctor came to see her and he gave her some medicine to calm her nerves down. They also had a counselor there for her to talk about how she was feeling. Between this times Matt was beside her side all this time. After a few weeks she was back to her Normal self. She also had a dream that Cameron needed her. She thought to herself that she had to face Cameron again but before she went she had to see a doctor to see how her state was. She was fine but the doctor was going to keep her on the medicine and she was aloud to go see Cameron.

While Amanda was getting ready for the hospital, Matt told her that he will go with her to Cameron room. Amanda gives her brother a hug ant thank him for being with her. Matt smiled "No problem" he says. Then, they go to the hospital together when they first went to Cameron room they had his bed flipped so he was facing the floor but the nurse came in and change it so he was facing the ceiling. Amanda tells his brother that he wants to be alone with him. Matt looks at her sister and sees this time she was taking this well and he sees she does so he leaves. Amanda first checks his chart and he sees that there was no change since the operation. Amanda sits next to his bed and touches Cameron hair lightly and talks to him and tells him he will come out of this all right. She been coming in each day for the two weeks but there was no change till today when she was playing with his hair and she told him he'd better get better soon because she loves him, then his eyes open and he looks right at her. Amanda calls in the Doctors. They look at his eyes they can tell now that he could see people.

About two weeks after that they took him off the life support to see how he could breathe on his own he was doing better with that. After seven days he could speck in scratchy voice. His throat hurt because of the big tube down it before. He told Amanda that he loves her to. Amanda kissed his lips when he said those words. Then, Cameron said the words that Amanda wanted to hear "Where is my brother Gary." Amanda answers him "Do you know what happened Cameron," he says "Kind off he was at your cabin." Amanda says, " Yes but he shot you, that's why you're in the hospital he is in jail" Cameron face went all worried "I have to talk to him I got to help him." "Why would you want to help him he shot you" Amanda said angrily. "You don't understand Amanda." Amanda said "Your priority is to get well first." It took him a very long time for Cameron to move his arms and legs they thought he would have been crippled or paralyzed but he pulled through. He had to take physio therapy and Amanda was always there to help him. He always kept on asking he wanted to see his brother. Amanda always gave the same answer you have to get better first. Cameron felt frustrated at times about the answer to his question concerning his brother but he knew she didn't know the whole story about what he and his brother went through when they were little. He couldn't give her answer till he could talk to his brother first to find out why he lied about to the police when their parents died when he was little and why his brother shot him. He just knew that he still loved his brother very much and he had to help him. Amanda was very upset with Cameron because her thoughts were that Gary was murdered and she could never forgive him about his actions that he took out on Cameron when he got shot. He also asks Cameron if he shot his parents. But Cameron always changed the subject on the questions because he had to talk to Gary first before he told Amanda the truth. This left the two very distant for one another at the time. Amanda was there to help him but she thought nothing more could help this relationship get stronger. Cameron felt the same because after he knows that Amanda knows the truth that Amanda probably would never love him.

PART 16

After a year went by Cameron was able to come home from the hospital. Amanda decorated his apartment and had a get well sign up. Cameron still had problems walking still he had to use a cane to walk. The doctor told him that each day that went by he would get stronger and he wouldn't have to use his cane anymore and that he will be back to his normal self again. Cameron thought to himself what is normal his whole life wasn't normal so he didn't really know what normal was.

When he walks in his apartment, he saw all the work Amanda did by making his home coming very nice. Cameron tried to smile at Amanda he really didn't feel like partying yet he still wanted to see his brother to make things right there. He tells "Amanda Thank you for making my home coming feel nice." But as the day was going by Amanda knew that Cameron was withdrawn and she knew what she had to do. So she goes out to his night table and takes out the letter that Gary wrote to Cameron she didn't give it to Cameron when he was in the hospital because she wanted him to concentrate on getting better first. Amanda walks up to Cameron and told him here this is what your brother wrote when you were first in the hospital. Cameron looks up at her "Why did it take you this long to give to me Amanda," he asked her. Amanda told him "First I didn't feel Gary had the right to give this to you for what he had done and I wanted you get well first before you dealt with your brother." Cameron takes the letter and says "Thank you, Amanda for giving this to me. It means a lot and I know why you felt the way you did about giving me this letter if you went through what I went through I guess I will feel the same way." "He is your brother Cameron it's your choice where you want to go from here what you choose I will stick by you." Amanda says. Cameron takes her in his arms he finds her lips and kisses her long and also kisses her neck he has his hands around her back he holds her tightly and says to her "That means a lot Amanda because I need you like I never needed anybody before." He brings her back in his arms and kisses her all evening and tells her she made the right decision.

Amanda knew that Cameron wanted to be alone to read his letter from his brother so she tells Cameron she has to leave that she will see him tomorrow. So they both kissed goodnight and Cameron went in his room to read his letter from his brother. He undresses and lies in his bed in his boxers and reads Gary's letter.

Dear Bro,
I know when you read this you will already want nothing to do with me. That all right though, because I deserve this. I made your life like hell. and that's the last things I wanted do. this is hard to write my feelings down and to tell you what I have to tell you. I wish I could have been like you by being strong and not go the way that dad wanted us to go by being hateful to others and hurting others like I did to you. You where the strong person, you always wanted to go the right way and try to protect me and look what I did I shot you in the back cold blooded and you almost died because of my actions. I also blame you for both of our parents death. I know the real reason why you killed dad. so I wouldn't get killed. But I being afraid of dad not able to stand up to him I became like him. Dad always threatens me that. he would kill you if I didn't do what he told me . That why I thought it was better for you being in jail because I didn't want to kill you Bro. He said if anything happens to him if I still didn't obey, his friends would kill you Bro. Well here is why I did one action to you. Now to tell why I shot you in the back. Father left me a leter after he died. He said "if I didn't kill you he would make my life like hell, even when he was dead his friends were looking out and making sure I did the things Dad told me to do. This wasn't just a threat because his friends did come to my door and there still after me to kill you even though I am in jail. When I shot you, I couldn't take it anymore so I went to the hospital you where in gave Amanda the letter I knew there would be Police there so I went there to turn myself in and to give you this letter. Cameron, you are in deep danger I know I am to I will probably die in a rotten jail cell. But that okay after all the things I put you through. There is much more to say but I would be writing a book so I leave you with this. Please Cameron watch out for your self I can't bare to see you hurt again here is also a letter enclosed that dad wrote me about the threat.

Cameron couldn't believe what his poor brother was going through, what his dad did. How dare his father do this to them. There was no way he was going to see his brother killed in jail. He had to get his family back what he had left of it no matter what he takes. He didn't like his brother's actions what he did in the past. But he still loves his brother and he will do what it takes to get them back together. Them he gets the other letter out that their dad wrote and he read it.

Dear Gary,
If you don't listen to what I said my friends will make your life miserable and any one of your love ones will be miserable to. MY friends might take you and your love ones life. Kill your brother Cameron or you pay. I mean business,

"The jerk " Cameron said under his breath. His poor brother he has to find a way to see him in jail and to get him out. But he knew he couldn't do anything tonight so he went to bed but he didn't get much sleep that night.

PART 17

Amanda was going to Cameron's apartment early in the morning she was happy because she had a surprise for Cameron that he would really like. She asks the landlord to let her in. He knew her well so he let her in. The apartment was very quiet. She looks all around she saw Cameron lying on the bed only in boxers with his brothers letter spread on the bed. She folded up the letters and put them back in the envelope without reading them she put the letters on the night table. Then. She went up to him and lied in the bed beside him she moved her soft hands on his back Cameron moved a bit and he opened his eyes he saw a beautiful angel lying next to him. Forgotten about his problems for the moment he takes Amanda in his arms and asks her "what do I get to deserve this beauty lying make to me." Amanda answers "I have a surprise for you" Cameron puts his head to the side and smiles at Amanda "What would the surprise be" Cameron asks. "I won't tell you that easily" she teased him. He pulls her down next to him and kisses her and he pulls back and says "Will that help to tell me" "Nope I didn't get enough of you yet" Amanda teases again smiling down at him. Them Cameron takes Amanda in arms again he kisses her longer he also has his hands running through her hair and down her back and stops and he says "Do I get to find out now," Amanda says "yes' and says "I have a pass for you that you can visit the whole day with your brother," After he hears that he brings Amanda under the cover and lays real close to her and kisses her breathlessly Amanda wants him to make love to her Cameron has the same thought but he knows it isn't the right time yet because she doesn't know him well enough yet so he just holds her close and kisses her for a long time and tells her "That really means a lot to me." "I know that why I did it I love you."I love you to but we got to take things slowly I still have a lot to share with you but I got to work things out with my brother first." "I know I will wait I don't know why you want to make up with your brother for everything he did. "I know you don't but I will tell you everything when it's time" Cameron tells her. Them he jumps up looking nervously for Gary letters. Amanda knows what he is looking for so she got the letters and gave it to Cameron and said "I didn't read them, don't worry." Thanks Amanda soon you will know everything and our love can move on farther." Amanda hits Cameron playfully and tells him "To hurry up because he won't see his brother the way they are going. Cameron laughs and gets out of bed and takes a shower while Amanda makes breakfast for him.

When Cameron was eating with Amanda he says, "I never had a beautiful lady make breakfast for me before." "There is plenty more time then this that you get this pleasure" Amanda says. "Good" says Cameron "I like to get spoiled by a beautiful woman. He then takes her in his arms and says "Really Amanda thanks you for everything you are doing. I falling in love with you, Amanda but I and scared I am going to ruin everything up." "You worry too much now kiss me." "My pleasure Miss Cory" he takes her in his arms his hands run through her hair and his lips meets her lips they kiss like that for minutes. They finally get going over to the jail that Gary was in. Cameron was shaking nervously Amanda notices and tells Cameron "Are you sure you are up for this." Cameron looks at her, "Do I have a choice?" "Yes" Amanda says." "Well my choice is to see my brother." So Amanda says "Okay" and they drove the rest of the way to jail cell and Amanda drops him off at the jail. Amanda tells him that "she will pick him up later." He kisses her she drives off and Cameron walks over to jail the cell. He meets a guard and gives him the pass and tells the guard who he wants to see. The guard goes to get Gary while Cameron waits in the waiting room for him. It seems like forever will it ever come when this two will meet face to face again Then he saw his brother with the guard walking towards them he knew his wait was over.

PART 18

When the guard took Gary over to Cameron. He had no idea it was is brother. He looked very surprised to see him. Gary says "I didn't think I ever see you again." Cameron looks at the guard. "Can we talk alone" So the guard put Cameron and Gary in a cell and lock the door and went a way for a while. Cameron then looks at his brother and said "I didn't know that dad had a hold on you this bad." Gary put his head down like he knew he put his brother down and said "I still had a choice and I choose to kill you I almost exceeded I don't know why you came here after what I did." Cameron looked at his brother "That easy you are my brother and we both lived a terrible life and we both did things because of it that I think we both regret." Gary looks at his brother with shame "What I did to you was awful." Cameron looked at him "Yes what you did was awful, I think it will take me a very long time to forgive you and trust you again and it is going to be a lot of work to be a family again but I want to try." "But why though" Gary asks. "Because dad made you this way I know deep down in your heart the real Gary is there I can tell by your letter." "It took you this long to respond to my letter.' Gary asked "No I just got yesterday Amanda wouldn't give to me till I was well enough to deal with it and you" "Amanda is a good person to look after you. She came to visit me feel times to give me hell since you've been in the hospital." Gary says. "Ya I know and she surprised me this morning to give me a pass to see you. She left her differences behind to make me happy she doesn't know the whole thing what is going on she is very confused and angry." ‘No thanks for Me Gary replied "I made her life a mess to she isn't my friend anymore." "That because how dad made us we can change this and make us better people and I also going to tell Amanda the truth tonight." Cameron says. Gary looks at him with no sign of hope and says "I can't change the pass with all the bad stuff I did." Cameron agrees with him but he says "No, you can't change the pass but if we both go to counseling we could learn to deal with what we did and what made us do this and to change us I know there is hope for us."Gary tells him "He will try." Cameron told him "That the spirit this time we wont let dad win" Gary felt good to talk to his brother.

He told him all he did when he sent to jail the first time he drank till he got angry them he met this girl name Josi who got him back on track. Them he said once you got out of jail dad friends where threaten him if I didn't kill you they would kill my wife Josi I am still scared bro they will kill us and my wife. Cameron looks with concerned in his eyes "The jerks" he said "They don't know who they are messing with." Gary warns him, "You're getting angry again." Cameron stops and gets a few breathers and said "We got to tell the police right away on this so we can get our lives backs." Gary "Agree with you this is what we should do or our war will never end." With that the guard came up to them and told them that visit hours where over Cameron gives his brother a brotherly hug and he will find a way to get him out of there and he left.

Amanda picked Cameron up. He was very quiet all the way home. Amanda wonders how things went. She had supper on in the oven on low cooking for them slowly. So Cameron and her can have a nice meal when they got home.

Part 19

When they arrive at Cameron apartment, Cameron can smell the food. He takes Amanda in his arms and tells her "what smell so good." "I thought I make you something to eat since you probably emotional time with your brother." Amanda replies. Cameron holds her so tight and then turns her around and kisses her and says "You know how to treat a man and spoil one to" Cameron smirks. Amanda tells him "enough. She has to get supper out before it burns." He kisses her before he lets her go and she brings supper to the table they have a nice meal.

They take their wine out on their balcony and Cameron tells her while they where out there "I want to thank you for being with me through this brother thing. I know you don't understand everything so I am going to tell you now because you deserve to know the truth." Amanda looks up him "I am listening" Cameron tries and struggles to share his feelings with Amanda. Amanda sees he's having trouble so he brings him in her arms. And Cameron shares with her about his and his brother child hood with their parents how their father always beat him and his mom and how hard their dad was on his brother to be like him. Cameron also told her how he couldn't take it anymore and how he got a gun. Then, he saw his dad killing his mom then how he shot his dad after that. How he left his brother there with the whole mess. His brother was too young to handle this on his own. So he places the blame on me because their Dad gave him the letter that if he ever died that his friends would give him a miserable life, He shared with her how his jail life was. He told Amanda why his brother shot him was because their dad friend was going to kill Josi, his wife if he didn't kill me. He told Amanda what they talk about when he went to visit Gary in jail today he was crying hard time he was finished. Amanda took him in her arms and said "Poor baby, now I understand why Gary acts the way he did and why sometimes you where so distance and afraid to be love." She held Cameron in his arms and wipe away his tears and told him that she loves him. "I love you to Amanda now that I told you everything I feel so close to you I want to make love to you if you're ready?" She brings him inside and removes his top and says "Yes I will make love to you." Impatiently she takes her cloths off and starting on his. Cameron pulls her away at first and says "wait" he puts candles out everywhere and lights them and when he did he tells her that if they were going to do the deed that he had to make it romantic for her." Amanda took her in his arms and says "All I need is you."

When they did make love they made beautiful music together" after making love Amanda and Cameron tried to catch their breaths. Cameron turns over and brings Amanda in her arms and shares more feelings with her. "Amanda, this is my first time I ever, I ever" "Ever what" she said. "You will laugh if I tell you" he says. "I won't laugh, I promise" Amanda smiles. "Well" he said "It my first time I ever made love to a woman." "Its your first time now why would I laugh at that?" "Well you probably used to experience men. He answers back. He says embarrassed. "Well actually Cameron if you didn't tell me I wouldn't have notice. You were good and it doesn't matter in my book if you did it or not I made love to you because I love you. "Oh, Amanda, you showed me love like I never felt before. Actually I never felt love before just hate. He says. "I love you Cameron and I will always will." She tells him happily. "I don't know Amanda my next step I do you might turn away," he says. "And what is that," she asks. "I am going to see tomorrow how I can get my brother out of jail." Amanda was quiet after he speaks and then he talks again "See my father made him this way I want my brother and I get helped because I think my brother and I can become better people with the proper help." Amanda says, "I am scared to go through like we went through this year. I don't want your brother to hurt you like he did before. I think if gets anymore pressure he will do it again but I will stand beside you what ever it takes." "It will be hard Amanda" he says. "I know but I love you I can even talk to Joe tomorrow he will help us." "I love you to Amanda we will go together tomorrow." And he takes Amanda in his arms again and makes loves her one more time. And they sleep in each other arms all night.

PART 20

The last little while Cameron was busy trying to get his brother out of jail Amanda help him by talking to Joe and that. It took quite a little while to get him out though because of paper work and the law and that but eventually they did get him out. Amanda also had to apologize to Josi and that for what she did to her when Gary shot Cameron. Amanda didn't know how bad Josi was till she saw her that day. She was very down and doctor had her on depression pills she was like that ever since Gary went to jail. When she went there after she apologizes she asks "if there was anything she could do to help." Josi replied "no there isn't." Amanda asks her " if she could forgive her for what she did to her in the past." Josi says, "Yes I can if it was Gary and Cameron did something I probably acted the same way." Josi gets a phone call it was Cameron telling her that Gary was finally free and he told her and to tell Amanda to come to his house for supper. So they did, they had a lot to eat that Cameron made. He had wine that they all shared but between Gary and Amanda there was still a lot of bad attention. Amanda didn't know if she could every forgiven Gary for what he did sometimes times she wishes she could strike back at him. Cameron tried to do a lot of the conversation trying to break attention between the few it didn't work and at home at Gary and Josi place things weren't going so hot there. Gary seen so distance from Josi.

Each day that went by Josi thought it would get better but things just got worse. Their relationship seem to be following apart Josi didn't know what she could do. Her depression seems to get worse each day. Josi is leaning on Cameron each day that goes by for support and Amanda realizes this and she snaps at Josi and tells her not to lean on Cameron that much. Gary and Cameron have a lot of work to help their relationship as brothers there first counseling won't be for a while there is still a lot of distance between them too. Amanda feels she's losing Cameron though this he seems to paying a lot of attention to Josi. Cameron tries to ensure her that she is just down and needs a friend but Amanda feels it is more. Where do they all go from here?
