Some Not So Great Doofuses

These are some who tried, but didn't quite make it.  There is something a little bit wrong with these characters.  They're not quite lovable enough. Maybe it's a lack of innocence or perhaps they went just a little too far in their crazyness.   But for whatever reason these characters missed the mark.

Larry, Daryll & Daryll William Sanderson, Tony Papenfuss, John Voldstad, Newhart

Lovable? maybe,
doofus? definately,
but please, please not in my neighborhood.

Too slimy

Too annoying, totally ungrateful for the helpshe receives.
