This Tribute page is Dedicate to the Actress Gillian Anderson, not only for her role as Special Agent Dana Scully of the TV Series "The X-Files", but due to the fact that not only is Ms. Anderson a genuine and superb actress, but Gillian also has a tremendous heart for those outside of the Film Industry.
Taking time out of her busy schedule to participate in Functions and Fund Raising events for Neurofibromatosis, Inc. An Organization she became involved with at the young age of 16, when her younger brother Aaron was diagnosed with this disease. Gillian and her family are active members, and stands by the necessity of reaching out to the world to let be known.
Gillian also provides for wishes of terminally ill children to visit the set of "The X-Files". Earning her the Golden Wish Award from Starlight Childrens Foundation. Originally Gillian was to receive the "'Humanitarian of the Year Award" but politely turned it down. More of an Honor than she felt she deserved. In my heart, she well deserves it.
But she doesn't stop there, she continues on and stands up for what she believes in. That's important. It seems to me that through all the glitz and glamour of the Television Industry and the Media World, Gillian Anderson has and will stand strong for those things that are important to her and she has managed to keep the one part of her with her throughout the entire time. Her Down to Earth, Fun loving, Energetic, Warm Hearted personality.
Thank you Gillian for being who you are and not being afraid to follow your heart! This is why this Tribute Page goes to you. Others may follow, but you have taken the lead!
