PersOpinion #2

This is where I'll post my personal opinion about Dawson's Creek. Make your opinions heard by e-mailing me, or by commenting in my guestbook.

Well, even though I just now put up the persopinion that was written three months ago, I am writing and posting this too. I'm hoping that this will give you guys an edge over others, by giving you an inside scoop about the upcoming (2nd) season. In case you don't know, Dylan Neal (Pacey's policeman brother, Doug), Leann Hunley (Pacey's girlfriend/ English teacher) and Scott Foley (Jen's admirer, Cliff), have all left the show.

This opens the doors for other stars; I've read about a possible brother-sister duo showing up soon.(**I now know that is for sure: Pacey gets to date the girl!**) In the September Teen People there is a spoiler about the new season. (**Wednesday, October 7th, 8:00pm, WB**) Paul Stupin, DC's executive producer, says in the interview that coming up in the show they will be developing Pacey Witter's character a lot more, including the relationship between Pacey and his father. Stupin also adds that they will delve deeper into the character of Jen Williams, who is not only grieving the loss of her grandfather, but the loss of Dawson too. (**To help console herself, she starts hanging out with Abby, the tardie girl who said she had a detetion for an event in the boys locker room**)

On a personal note, I salute all of you faithful DC'ers who started watching the show in the beginning, like me. Now the whole nation knows what DC is, and have helped make it the number 4 teen show! Don't worry about missing Scott (Cliff), 'cause you can catch him on his new show FELICITY (WB, Tuesdays), as well as Dylan (Doug) alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar (original Saved by the Bell) on HYPERION BAY(WB, Mondays). And don't forget to mark your calendars--WB has moved DC to Wednesday Nights. And for you Canucks watching, Global has moved their show time from Mondays to Fridays, so don't miss it!

If you still need more info, check out the September Teen People. James Van Der Beek (Dawson) is on the cover in a brown jacket. There are tons of stories on him, a whole section on Disturbing Behaviour and Katie Holmes (Joey), plus previews of the two news shows above, as well as the scoop on Season #2 of DC. That's my persopinion.
