alright, here's the thing, i still have to get the transcript up here for their first appearence, but the second one is here.. i do however have these summary things i scored off NBC' s tonight show site...deal with it..the transcript will be up sometime..
THEIR 1St TONIGHT SHOW APPEARENCE ON:
Creators of the popular animated show South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone finished off the show. As the two sat down, Jay stated "We're in color tonight," pointing out their loud apparel. Trey and Matt described their underground short film that inspired South Park entitled The Spirit of Christmas. As the South Park legend goes, George Clooney got ahold of it, dubbed it and began sending it to all of his friends. After everyone in Hollywood fell in love with the short, Trey and Matt found themselves getting all sorts of big movie and television development deals. After Jay pointed out that a lot of celebrities have been on the show, Trey and Matt said that he really didn't care about anyone except for Robert Smith from The Cure and the "chick from Species." Just like every other pop sensation, they said that the merchandizing of their T-shirts will hit over a million sales by Christmas. Before finishing things off, Trey and Matt told Jay that South Park, the county in Colorado, has more alien abductions and cow mutilations then anywhere else.
THEIR 2ND TONIGHT SHOW APPEARENCE ON:
The creators of the cartoon phenomenon South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, literally ran out after Jay introduced them. The host commented "that was the fastest entrance" he'd ever seen on the show, then complimented the guys on their "Siegfried and Roy"-like outfits. Trey commented that his was "a Versaychee" and Matt said what he was wearing was Trey's clothes. Jay told Matt he was showing "just a hint of chest hair, which I like very much." It seems that Trey and Matt once had met Brooke at a party. Matt explained the scenario by pointing out "First of all, Trey drinks." Trey said that normally he doesn't drink much, but on one particular night, he'd had a lot. Trey turned to Brooke and made it clear "You're totally cool, right," the proceeded to describe what occurred at the party: "She comes up and she goes, 'I really like your show and I wanted to meet you.' And what I'm thinking in my mind, trying to be witty was, 'And now that I've met you, you totally suck.' I was going to finish her sentence, but all that came out was, 'You totally suck.'" Trey said that Brooke, in response to his comment, said "I'm a big fan, nonetheless" then walked away. Trey didn't understand her reaction until his friends explained what had happened. "So don't drink, kids," said Matt, with Jay adding, "This has done more to stop teenage drinking." Getting a bit more serious, Jay inquired, "Are you guys surprised at all this?" The guys clarified a recent story which had reported that they had made $15 million from the success of their show. While they noted the money wasn't that much, "We're getting way better money than when we started." Trey then noted how friends were calling him and saying, "Dude, you're making $15 million. Buy me a boat." When Jay asked, "How about your folks?" Trey said "They left for their two week cruise in Europe that I sent them on," while Matt pointed out, "I bought my mom a car." They were quick to point out: "But we don't have any money. We're not sell-outs!" But when talking about how the summer blockbuster Godzilla opens the same night that South Park makes its second season premiere and lamenting how they would get pitiful ratings, Jay zinged, "You see! The money is already talking!" Trey defused the situation by joking, "No, we just want to go see Godzilla."
