They sent out the tape, The Spirit of Christmas, to their closest friends, and it was funny, bloody and blasphemous enough to achieve huge popularity on the Internet. A bidding war among Industry entities ensued, and Comedy Central won--ordering 13 episodes based on the video. The series? South Park--it's Beavis and Butt-head Meets Peanuts, but it's entirely original. Like, what other series would have one of the leads die in every episode?
