Pacey makes plans for sailing trip. Doug tells Pacey to tell Joey that he loves her. Henry tries to apologize; Jen says, "No". Andie tells Dawson that Pacey's leaving. Doug pulls over Joey and tells Joey that Pacey was leaving. Joey screams at Pacey for running away. Pacey tells Joey that her wall is STILL empty.

The wedding rehearsal takes place. Dawson notices that Joey doesn't want to be there. Cut to Pacey's send-off party. Grams tells gang to live life with no regrets. Dawson and Joey chat. She tells him that she broke off with Pacey so that she wouldn't lose Dawson. Jen feels bad that she didn't get to tell Henry before he left for football camp. Grams chases after the bus. Cut to wall. Joey arrives. Pacey had painted, "Ask me to stay."

Marriage ceremony. Pacey is seen in crowd. Grams catches up to bus. Jen and Henry kiss. Joey and Pacey meet up at the wedding. Joey can't give Pacey a reason to stay. Pacey forces a "goodbye" from Joey. Dawson wonders why Pacey was there. Pacey and Dawson had a chat. They agree that things will never be the same between them. Grams drives to Boston, so that Jack and Ethan could hook up. Dawson and Joey dance, but Dawson couldn't tell what Joey is feeling ... he always could do that. Jack kisses Ethan who was sitting there with some guy at an outdoor table at the university. Ethan introduces Jack to Brad (his ex); apparently, they had reconciled. Dawson makes toast ... you can forgive, love never ends, you can begin again.

Joey meets Dawson on the docks. Dawson tells Joey to go to Pacey. Jack comes home. He was expecting a lecture from Dad, but Dad comforted him instead. The gang comes over to Dawson's room so that he wouldn't be alone. Joey runs to Pacey who was about to leave. Joey tells Pacey that she's in love with him. Joey wants to coem with Pacey. Joey and Pacey kiss. They leave into the sunset.

Anti-Prom Dawson asks Joey to the junior prom. The door opens and Mitch and Gale gets caught kissing by Joey and Dawson.

Pacey and Andie are studying together. Bessie and Joey talk. Joey has second thoughts about accepting Dawson's invite. Pacey said that Andie would be better off choosing someone else to go to the prom with. Jen asks Henry to the prom. Barbara Johns wouldn't sell Jack a ticket because Jack was planning to go with Ethan. Dawson buys a ticket for Dawson and Joey. Pacey is spotted sitting nearby.

Jack is bummed out. Dawson and the gang consoles him and Dawson suggests holding an alternative prom at the restaurant. Grams dress Henry Parker in proper attire. Jen and Henry make pact not to have sex on this night. Pacey asks Andie to the prom. Dawson brings Joey mom's earrings, on loan only. Dawson and Joey dances. Pacey stares.

Jack says that he doesn't want to be there, after finding out that Ethan has never been public before, yet he encouraged Jack to be that way. Jack walks. Henry tells Jen that he has to leave for football camp at the end of June. Jen gets mad and leaves. Joey wants to know why Dawson had brought her ... to upstage Pacey? Dawson said that he didn't even know Pacey was going to be there. Joey meets up with Jack outside. Mitch and Gale argue. Mitch wants Gale to define their relationship. Joey asks Pacey to dance. Andie sees them. Dawson sees them. Joey sees Dawson watching. Dawson walks.

Joey runs after Dawson. Dawson kisses Joey and tells her that that was the way the evening was supposed to end. Dawson leaves. Henry and Jen break up. Jack finds Ethan. Ethan dares Jack to kiss him, but he couldn't. Pacey tells Andie why he was really there. Andie tells Pacey to tell Joey that he loves her. Joey asks Dawson not to ask her to choose. Dawson says that he can wait and that surprised Joey. Gale proposes to Mitch with Dawson and Joey watching.

Show Me Love Dawson is alone in room. Joey is somewhere else wondering. Henry tries to apologize to Jen by flashing a sign. Joey is in the cafeteria and can't find a place to sit --- that is, a place to sit without talking to anyone. Joey is sitting in front of the empty wall, the one she wants to paint. Dawson wants to move forward with Joey. Joey didn't say anything, but Dawson gave her an open invitation to his room for movie night.

Pacey decides to enter the regatta. He will be sponsored by Leery's restaurant. Henry is outside with his apology sign again. Dawson wants to enter the regatta, too. He borrows McPhees' boat. Dawson got Bessie to sponsor him. However, it was Dawson who paid the entry fee.

Dawson screams at Pacey. Bessie tells Joey to do something to make things better. Will won a scholarship to Raleigh. Mitch offers his help to Dawson and Jack. Pacey and Joey bump into each other. Joey tells Pacey to try to talk to Dawson. Jen and Henry apologizes. Gale forced the issue, since Henry was causing a distraction by standing outside with his sign. Henry takes Jen to the rooftop for a picnic. Pacey wants Dawson to punch him out. They end up arguing.

Jen arrives home the next morning. Grams assume that Jen had fallen to her old ways and had slept with Henry. Gale expresses surprise that Mitch is helping Dawson. Pacey's boat is in line to the finish line. Dawson's boat is heading towards the same point. Dawson wins race after Pacey pulled back to avoid a collision. Dawson got DQed. Pacey, Joey and Dawson meet. Joey screams that she wasn't a trophy. Joey wants Dawson to be a friend. Dawson said that he would be that. Joey walks away.

Will leaves for Raleigh. Grams apologizes to Jen for making assumptions. Gale closes the restaurant and has dinner waiting for Mitch. Joey attempts to paint the wall but just stares at it. Pacey arrives. Pacey asks if there were no Dawson, would they be soulmates. Joey didn't like that question and provided no response. Pacey said that he will renew the lease on the wall. Pacey tears off the "True Love" sign on his boat. Andie comes to talk to Pacey. Andie says that she does n't hate Pacey. Joey arrives at Dawson's room with "E.T.", and they watch it together.

The Longest Day This show does the "what if you could rewind the day and have it start over again" storyline. The story begins at the christening of Pacey's boat. Joey and Pacey are kissing in the cabin while everyone is waiting outside. Pacey says that he will tell Dawson.

Pacey looks for Dawson. Will and Andie have a date lined up for tonight. Deputy Doug tells Pacey that he'll end up alone if he tells. Pacey approaches Dawson's house. Joey intercepts and says that she'll do it. Dawson steps out and Pacey tells him that they're an "us" now.

Joey and Jen talk. Jen tells her to tell Dawson. Joey is at the library doing a Watergate assignment. Andie tells Joey that Will wasn't Pacey. Dawson and Joey bump into each other in town. Dawson invites Joey for movie night and Joey turns him down with a lame excuse. Joey calls Pacey and tells him not to do it; she wants to do it. Joey comes through Dawson's window. Dawson is watching "The Last Picture Show" and after hearing the plot, Joey leaves Dawson's room. Joey meets up with Pacey outside. Dawson comes out and Pacey tells him that there's an "us" now. Dawson says that he already knows.

Pacey and Joey kiss. Pacey wants to know if Dawson will be home later. Pacey christens the boat. Jen says that Henry was not allowed in the house while Grams was away. Jen inadvertently spills the bean about something going awry. Dawson guesses that it was about Pacey and Joey. Dawson leaves mad. Joey enters Dawson's window. "The Last Picture Show" was playing. Joey leaves after hearing the plot. Dawson cries after Joey leaves. Dawson comes out and screams at Pacey and Joey.

Dawson leaves Jen's house after finding out. Henry tries to kiss Jen. Jen kicks Henry out for being romantic at the wrong time. Will and Andie go rowing on the creek. Joey runs in after Dawson. Andie tells Pacey that he's stupid. Dawson tells Joey to choose. Jen comes to see Dawson. Joey meets up with Pacey at the docks. Joey tells Pacey that it's over.

Stolen Kisses Dawson and Joey plan to go to visit his aunt on Spring Break. They meet up with Will (childhood friend of Pacey's ... actually a character in the summer series, Young Americans) and Pacey. Will and Pacey are coming, too.

Henry Parker helps out at the restaurant to be close to Jen. Andie decides to go on the trip, too. Megan, a friend of Gale's and Mitch's, come to visit and to announce that her husband had died. Pacey and Joey share a bed with the three others in sleeping bags on the floor.

Mitch seems angry that his friend had died. Shelley, a waitress, starts hitting on Henry. Will, Pacey and Andie play pool ... Andie beats them badly. Some guys at the next table challenge these "losers" to a game. Will and Pacey hustled them out of some money.

The aunt and Joey talk. Shelley offers Henry sex. Will and Andie talk on the porch. Will tells her that he had a bad father. The gang does karaoke in the living room floor. Joey and Dawson had to sing together. Pacey walks out. Jen, who told Henry that she wasn't jealous, told Shelley off in a fit of jealousy. Pacey kisses Joey in the yard. The aunt catches them. She tells Joey to tell Dawson.

Henry finds Jen in the back room feeling embarrassed. Mitch comes to terms with his anger by seeing a video of his deceased friend reading a toast at Gale and Mitch's wedding. Gale and Mitch hold hands. Joey catches up with Dawson to tell him, but the aunt walked in. Joey left without telling Dawson. Joey and Pacey meet in the yard again. Pacey is mad that his love is coming one way and not from Joey. Joey grabs him and kisses him.

Neverland Joey pushes Pacey away after Pacey kisses her on the ride back. Joey said that she won't be speaking to Pacey anymore.

Doug tells Pacey that he should tell Dawson about his feelings for Joey. Ethan is coming over to Jack's for the weekend. It's Henry's birthday party, but Jen's not invited. Andie suggests a "girl's night out." Ethan comes. Jack's dad doesn't like it. Jack tells Dad off. Ethan's staying and that's that.

Andie has Jen and Joey doing facials and pedicures. Jen senses something wrong with Joey and says that she's there for Joey if she needs it. Dad watches over Jack and Ethan. Dawson and Pacey go camping. Pacey wanted to tell Joey on this trip. Unfortunately, Buzz and his friends show up uninvited. Ethan and Jack decide to go out. Ethan asks Dad to join them, and he does, must to the dismay of Jack. Dawson tells scary tales to the kids. The girls decide to go rollerskating. Jen meets up with Henry having his birthday party there.

Jack is bored at dinner; Ethan and Dad chat at dinner about their fancy for cars. Pacey digs up a time capsule that they had buried there as kids. Ethan and Dad decide to go to the car museum; Jack was pissed by this time. Jack finally blew up, prompting Dad to tell him that he had cancelled his business trip this weekend just to spend more time with Jack. Dawson tells Pacey that he was glad to had Joey and Pacey in his life.

Ethan tells Jack to let go of the anger he has for Dad. Joey tells Jen about the kiss. Jack and Dad talk. Pacey and Joey bump into each other at the store. At face value, they decide to bury the kiss and just be friends.

Cinderella Story Pacey gives Joey a ride to the train. Joey is going to see A.J. win an award. Pacey questions Joey's sense of what's real and what's fantasy.

Pacey gets a kid (Buzz) for his mentoring program. Morgan (A.J.'s best friend and female) meets Joey rather than A.J. Buzz starts a fight at the arcade. Morgan, Joey and A.J. talk at the cafe.

Jen wants to work as a waitress at Gale's restaurant. A.J. tries to fix Joey's knee scrape, injured while rollerblading with Morgan. A.J. and Joey kiss. Morgan and Joey have a talk. Joey invites Morgan to come along to the awards show, since she senses how close Morgan is a friend to A.J. Mitch shows up for work, but Gale asked him who it was that requested his presence. Pacey tries to get Buzz to work on the boat. He didn't like it and wanted to go home. A.J. does a reading, but his story sounds like it was about Morgan.

Pacey was ready to give up on Buzz, until his supervisor tells him that Buzz felt rejected ever since his dad ran off with a younger woman. Pacey understands and decides to continue with Buzz. Gale screams at Dawson for asking Mitch to help out. Joey tells A.J. that he should try to find Morgan and be with her.

Buzz and Pacey make pot roast. Joey calls Pacey to pick her up. She was upset. Jen and Dawson talk. Dawson apologizes to his mom. Gale has decided to hire dad as the GM and Bodie is given 20% ownership of the restaurant. Pacey and Joey drive back. Pacey stops the car, gets out and kisses Joey.

To Green, With Love Angry parents demand that Green either resign or change his decison.

Pacey suggests to Joey to rally the system. A.J. tells Joey to rally the troops. A.J. helps Joey rally the troops. Green arrives to a protesting crowd.

Dawson helps out at the restaurant. Gale and Dawson decide to do their own story. Superintendant Fielding wants to see Joey. Dawson and Gale try to interview Green, but he refused. A.J. and Joey kiss in front of Pacey.

Bessie is mad that Joey is trying to change the world from home. A.J. says that he has to go. He tells Joey that Pacey is not a bad guy. Jen and Pacey chat ... Pacey is hurting. Dawson and Gale interview Fielding. Fielding says that he is serving the community. Dawson shows him the contract which says he should be serving the students. Nikki wants Dad (Green) to come to the rally, but he refused. Joey speaks at the rally. Green shows up to say a few words.

Bessie came to see Joey speak and said that she was proud. Joey comes to see Green, who is cleaning out his office. Joey says that she was sorry that she didn't do enough; Green said that she did all right. The station likes Gale's story and will run the story. Gale will submit the piece, but will quit immediately. She wanted to leave the station on her own terms. Pacey finds Joey a wall for Joey to paint. Joey thanks Pacey, but left Joey on her own for this one.

Crime and Punishment Joey does a mural for the school. Pacey doesn't like it.

Joey wants Dawson to be there for the unveiling of the mural to the students. Andie hands down a judgement to Caulfield for cheating. Green intervenes and hands down a less severe judgement. Green pulls Andie over and tells her that she had one of the top PSAT scores in the country. Pacey moves in with his brother, Doug --- visiting relatives have pushed Pacey out of his own home. The presentations of murals is taking place. Joey's painting is found defaced.

Joey walks away in tears. Andie tells Jack that she wants to quit the disciplinary committee. Dawson tells Joey to repaint the mural during the night. Joey didn't want to. Pacey thinks it is Caulfield who did it and roughs him up in the parking lot. Pacey wanted him to apologize. Caulfield agrees but sucker punches Pacey. A fight ensues ... and Principal Green arrives.

Andie quits the committee. Caulfield confesses. Andie tells Jack she cheated. She will confess to Green, too. Joey yells at Pacey for getting into trouble. Pacey tells Joey that Dawson told him to look after her. Joey finds Dawson and said that she felt like a "trading card."

Green expels Caulfield, but he retorts that Green will hear from his parents. Dawson tells Joey that people care about her ... like Pacey. Green lets Pacey off for fighting. Pacey is appointed by Green for the mentoring program. Andie confesses to Green. Green said that Andie was not like Caulfield and he will go lenient on her, although punishment of some sort was forthcoming. Joey shows up to redo mural. Pacey is already there painting over the defaced mural. Dawson leaves class and sees that Joey is repainting the mural. He smiles and leaves without Joey seeing him.

St. Valentine's Day Massacre Dawson is teaching Joey to drive clutch. Dawson is getting frustrated because Joey is doing it right. Pacey is along for the ride. Pacey and Dawson invites Joey to an anti-Valantine's Day party. Joey declines.

Henry Parker sells his blood for a gift for Jen. He convinces the nurse to give more blood. Doug Witter said that he will be staking out the golf course. Supposedly, a party will be held there. Kate Douglas, an ex-girlfriend of Jack's, will be coming up for the weekend. Jen prepares for her date with Henry.

Joey shows up at the party to keep Dawson "clean". Jen and Henry Parker meet up. At the party, the host said that they weren't invited. He asked them to down some "bad boys" to get in. Henry Parker collapses on their date. Doug pulls over Joey and Andie in a golf cart.

Dawson invites Kate for a walk. Henry Parker, on a gurney, gives Jen a Hungarian ring. Dawson tries to kiss Kate, but Kate turns away to barf. Everyone ends up in jail. Jack reveals that he was gay to Kate. Pacey said that he couldn't stand this Joey/Dawson saga.

Everybody is released, except Pacey. Jen visits Henry Parker at the hospital. Jen sais that they should be acting like themselves, rather than someone they are not. Kate is glad that Jack told her. Mitch says that since Dawson is still a child, he'll take the responsibility of a child. He orders him to work at the restaurant --- the one Gale was planning to buy. Dougie senses girl-trouble in Pacey. He tells Pacey to tell the girl how he feels. Pacey goes to Joey's place to apologize, but couldn't say what he wanted. Instead, he offered to teach Joey clutch driving.

Northern Lights Joey informs Pacey that he can't go to opeing night of his play ... because he's going to a party with A.J., much to Pacey's disappointment.

Dawson drops film class. Pacey keeps forgetting his lines. Broderick, the director, is hospitalized; he places Andie in charge. Henry Parker runs off whenever he sees Jen. A.J. comes to pick up Joey. Pacey tries to discourage Joey from going out with A.J.

Henry Parker invites himself to the play. A.J. and Joey decide to take a walk away from the academic crowd at the party. The play is about to begin. Pacey no shows ... he is shooting hoops. Dawson finds him and convinces him that he'll do OK. Henry meets up with Jen at the play, unfortunately Grams is there, too. Pacey arrives. Joey and AJ still are talking on the beach. He kisses Joey. Joey says she has to go.

Pacey does OK in the play. Jen is talking to Pacey. Joey finally arrives. Nikki talks to Dawson. Joey and Pacey chat. Joey says that Dawson seems to be a part of his past. A.J. shows up. Henry is in the rafters calling for Jen.

Joey and A.J. talk, and Joey tells him that she doesn't know what he's talking about half the time. Andie and Jack clean up. Pacey and Andie chat. They hug. Jen and Henry walk home. Dawson is waiting for Joey when she returns from her date with A.J. Dawson says he feels lost. Dawson and Joey see the Northern Lights together.

A Weekend in the Country There are no guests at the Potter's Bed and Breakfast and Joey is getting anxious.

Jen is asked to think about a dinner date with Henry. Andie suggests to Jack to move back home. Bessie thinks about mortgaging the house to meet financial needs. Joey disapproves because the home was the last reminder of Mom. Pacey invited a travel critic, Frederick Fricke, to stay at the bed and breakfast. Gale and Mitch; Grams, Jen and Jack show up as bogus guests.

Fred Fricke shows up unexpectedly, just as Joey convinced Pacey to called Fricke up to cancel his trip. Dawson screams at Mitch and Gail, for participating in this charade as a happy couple. The toilet overflows and Pacey mops up. Mitch and Dawson talk. Dust comes out of a ceiling vent. What else could go wrong?

Mitch and Pacey chat. Pacey tells Mitch that he has screwed up again. Mitch tells him that he has his heart in the right place. Andie wants Jack to come home. Dawson and Jen chat. They try to get the fireplace going, since the heating system had died. The gang sat around the fire and discussed their favourite smells. Joey apologizes to Fricke.

At breakfast, Fricke really enjoyed the breakfast. Surprise ... it was Bodi who cooked it. Henry and Jen talked, and Henry wasn't intimidated by Jen's past. Dawson and Pacey chatted and thanked him for watching over Joey. Jack decides to go home after realizing that it was Andie who needed him.

Barefoot at Capefest Dawson is on the way to the media room to borrow a hi-tech camera for his project. Joey accompanies him. Nikki Lawson is working there, and says that the camera is signed out by her. Dawson is miffed.

Jack and Jen shop for groceries. They bump into Ethan. Ethan said that was there for Capefest (concert) and Jack should come along. Andie persuades Mr. Broderick to let her be the assistant director in the play. Gale empties the living room. It was part of her settlement. Jack persuades Jen to go camp out at Capefest. Andie and Mr. Broderick audition people for the play. Pacey Witter, with the encouragement of Mr. Broderick, was there for auditions.

Dawson talks to Nikki. Principal Green invites Dawson for dinner. Jack meets up with Ethan. Henry Parker was at the camp out selling stuff. Ethan's gear gets stolen while he and Jack went for a walk. Andie wants Pacey to quit the play, since the play was her way of getting over Pacey. Dawson finds out that Nikki's movie is about the American family. Dawson opens up to Nikki about her parents' divorce. He did not do that earlier with Joey.

Ethan, Jack and Jen meet up. Jack wants Jen to get lost for a few hours. Henry Parker does a little concert with his guitar. Jen watches. The director jumps on every one of Andie's suggestions. Jen says that she misses Henry. Henry was still hurt and rebuffs Jen. Seeing that Nikki didn't have posters all over her room, Dawson starts stripping down his posters. Joey sees this and tells Dawson that he was such a "sell-out".

Ethan turns down Jack. Broderick no-shows and Andie takes over. Jen comes to Henry and says that they should get to know each other again. Broderick takes credit for all the work Andie has done. Andie wants to quit but Pacey persuades her against it. Joey knocks on the window and apologizes. She tells Dawson to floow his own path. Dawson and her hangs up a John Lennon "Imagine" poster, and Joey tells him to be on the lookout for his own Yoko.

First Encounters of the Close Kind I missed the opening bit. If you can describe what happened, send it to me.

Dawson, Joey, Andie and Jack spend a weekend at an Ivy League university in Boston. Dawson’s “Escape From Witch Island” is in the student film festival on campus. When submitting his film, the attendant berated Dawson's work by calling it, "yet another Blair Witch ripoff". In a case of mistaken identity, Joey gets stuck with a guy (A.J. Muller) for a roommate. Andie tries to get an interview with the Dean, but the secretary says that she can't do it without an appointment. Meanwhile, Jack is checking out the Pink Pages. At the screening of Dawson's movie, Dawson was met with an unappreciative crowd. He was embarrassed to go up to the podium to say a few words.

The attendant tried to console Dawson. Joey talks to Dawson and tells him not to give up on his dream. Andie tries again to talk to the Dean. In a mock English class, Joey bumps into her roommate. She found out that he was the TA for the class. He asked Joey what her favourite book was, and she said that it was, "Little Women". The TA and the class start to find flaws in Little Women. The TA apologizes. A sdpectacular film was shown at the festival. To Dawson's surprise, the filmmaker was Nikki Green.

Dawson wonders why Nikki didn't tell him. Dawson walks away. Andie has a talk with the career secretary, and she enlightens Andie about her life. A.J. takes Joey to the Manuscript Library. There he shows her the original copy of "Little Women". Jack goes to a gay bar --- the one where Ben Street works. However, another guy starts hitting on Jack. Jack leaves without talking to Ben. At the festival awards, Nikki didn't win. She was depressed and yelled at Dawson. She thought Dawson was going to rub it in. Instead, Dawson told her that she had inspired him to continue his interest in films.

On the train back, Dawson bumps into Nikki again. She was heading to Capeside, too. It turned out that she was Nikki Green, the daughter of Principal Green. A guy, Ethan, sits in the seat next to Jack. Ethan's two-year relationship with a guy had ended. Ethan recognized that Jack was gay, too. A.J. sees Joey off. A.J. asks if he may call her sometimes. Joey and Dawson are sitting on the bed in Dawson's room. Joey says that the room doesn't seem so big. Dawson says that the room seems safe.

Four to Tango Pacey and Jen neck on Dawson's bed. They didn't feel anything. Dawson comes home unexpectedly. Jen escapes, but Dawson caught Pacey, who was wearing only one shoe. Pacey exits quickly without an explanation.

Jack gets e-mail support for the piece that Dawson did on him. Pacey was told by the guidance counsellor that he was failing Math. Jack IMs Ben Street, with Andie's urging. Pacey needs help with Math; Joey needs to learn ballroom dancing to earn a scholarship. They offer to trade.

Dawson finds a condom in his room. Pacey wants Joey to be hush about the ballroom dancing. Dawson wants to talk to Pacey, but Pacey runs. Jack wants a pic of Ben Street. Dawson questions Jen about Pacey. Pacey had trouble being tutored by Joey. He was more used to being by Andie, who offered sex and studying. Jack gets sent a pic of Ben Street. Andie asks Ben Street for coffee on behalf of Jack. Dawson and Jen see Pacey and Joey meet up across the street. They follow. They also gets roped into ballroom dancing class.

Dawson questions Pacey about the condom, and Pacey gets defensive, to the point that Dawson thinks that Pacey and Joey are getting it on. Pacey runs, Jen follows, and they get chummy in the coat room. Jack looks for Ben Street at the coffee place. He see him through the window. Dawson and Joey catch Jen and Pacey kissing in the coat room. Joey screams at Pacey for the casual sex.

Jen and Pacey finally arrives to the conclusion that they are not for each other. Jack arrives home and Andie finds that Jack didn't meet up with Ben Street. Jack chickened out. Dawson tells Joey that it was alright for Pacey to have those feelings. Joey goes back in to talk to Pacey.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner Jen and Pacey go grocery shopping for Grams Thanksgiving dinner. Jen laughs at the thought of Pacey and her having sex.

Gail prepares something for Grams' dinner. So does Joey and Bessie. Jen's estranged mother shows up for Thanksgiving. Jen sits out on the dock by herself. Grams comes to talk to her and tells her that Jen has changed and grown since her arrival in Capeside. Grams tells her to confront her mother.

Pacey and Andie show at the same time. They start bickering and Jack tells them to get over it. Mom gives Jen a necklace, but jen turns it down. Joey tells Jen to give her Mom a chance. Dawson and Jen's mom chat. Dawson tells her about Eve. Mom tells Dawson that she doesn't want Jen to know.

Everyone gather for dinner. Everyone has something to say. When it gets to Jen's mom's turn, she walks. Jen follows her. Gail, Mitch and Dawson gather together. Dawson wants to know what they are to each other. Jen and her mom talk. Mom reveals that she had an indiscretion and the child was given up for adoption. She couldn't tell her husband because she was afraid to lose her social standing.

Joey and Dawson chat. Dawson said that the divorce was final. An angry Jen pulls Pacey into the shed and wanted to have sex right then. Pacey talks to Jen and they just hug. Mom leaves. She says that Jen was much stronger than her. Pacey returns to Jen after Mom leaves. No huggies between Jen and Mom.

Escape from Witch Island Joey tries to rent "The Crucible" from Dawson at the video store but they're all out. Dawson tells her that he had persuaded Principal Green to let him (along with Pacey and Jen) to do a film documentary on Capeside's historical witch trial instead of doing the report. Dawson invited her to come along.

Pacey and Jen why they've never hooked up. Dawson tells Joey that he's glad that they're friends again. Joey wonders if they're really friends, since they don't know what's happening in each other's lives. The boat guy warns them not to get stuck out there on Witch Island past dark.

They arrive at Witch Island. They're met by a historian, who warns them not to go through the woods. At the shop there, Jen tries casts a love spell on Pacey. Joey and Dawson head to the church. Back at Capeside, Andie, who is the head of the student disciplinary committee goes rules-crazy. Dawson and Joey reach the church. Joey tells Dawson that she doesn't feel the connection between them anymore for the first time in her life. As the boat came for them, Jen and Pacey were nowhere to be seen. Dawson and Joey wouldn't leave the island without them so the boat left without them.

Jen and Pacey make a deal where they would have casual sex. They kiss each other. Joey reads about how a boy who was in love with one of the witches (Mary Waldeck), never got to realize his love. Joey wonders about her relationship with Dawson. What if it never happens? They hear bells, but there was no bell. Dawson and Pacey talked and wondered how far he and Joey had drifted apart. Suddenly, a fire erupts out of nowhere.

The boat arrives to pick them up. Andie is handing out punishment to rulebreakers. Jen and Pacey agree to have casual sex when the need arises. Dawson and Joey are in Dawson's room. They decide to take it slow ... to get to know each other again.

Secrets & Lies Dawson and Jen chat in the hall wondering why she is the homecoming queen. Jen gets stopped by a group of former homecoming queens.

The Potters are reinvesting their insurance money and building a "bed and breakfast". Joey tells Pacey that Andie is dating Rob. Miss Freckling, an old-timer and former homecoming queen (?), is hosting the homecoming gala. Andie calls Joey in a frightened state. Gale, who has come back from Philadelphia, asks Dawson to be his date for the gala.

Apparently, Rob had tried to force sex on Andie. Pacey gets mad and punches out Rob. Jen goes to see Miss Freckling about the homecoming. Henry Parker happens to be her neighbour. Miss Freckling asks Jen to select some appropriate entertainment for the gala. Henry is there tending to Miss Freckling's flowers. Jen asks Henry to be her date. Pacey takes Andie to the boat. Andie tries to kiss Pacey. Pacey is reluctant at first, but he kisses Andie back.

Rob comes to see Joey. He said that it was Andie who freaked out on him and that there was no sexual assault of any kind. At the gala, some snobby people were rubbing it in that Gale was fired from her Phiully job. Dawson was surprised at the news. The entertainment, much to Miss Freckling's dismay, were female impersonators. Joey confronts Andie about what Rob had said. Andie brings Pacey a sailing cap for his new boat. Pacey said that it was over between them, and that when she slept with someone else, it was her heart's way of telling her that he was not the one for her.

Henry declares his love for Jen. Jen turns him down, telling him that she had to respect herself first before she could let someone else respect her. Joey and Andie hug, with Andie almost confessing that she had lied about the Rob incident. Miss Freckling, who seemed to enjoy the evening with the impersonators, have a drink with the impersonators. Mitch and Gale have a talk, after Dawson tells her that it wouldn't be so bad if she could get to know Mitch again. Pacey works on the boat.

Indian Summer Dawson and Pacey try to watch movies, but they couldn't due to the heat. Pacey leaves. Dawson looks outside and sees moving lights inside Jen's house. Dawson investigates and Eve crawls out the window.

Eve says that she will spill the beans about the PSATs, if Dawson calls the cops. Jen and Jack lie on a blanket together and watch the stars. Jack tries to tell Jen about how wonderful Henry Parker is. The lawn sprinkler system goes on and gets them wet. Rob asks Joey to go to the movies and Joey turns him down. Dawson tries to investigate the Eve thing and finds that there was no Whitman at Capeside High or the strip bar.

Henry and Jack are in the hall. They see Jen. Henry tried to ask for a date but he couldn't get the words out. Jack says that it's possible that two people can be at the same time and same place. Dawson asks deputy Doug Witter a hypothetical question, and he suggests staking out a laundromat. People will wash their clothes. They see Eve getting a hot dog. Joey and Rob talk and they see Andie come out of his boat. Andie and Rob has made plans for a movie date. Henry appeared in Jack's place for Jen and Jack's starwatching session. Jen was not pleased and told Henry that maybe he should just ask her next time. Eve is seen entering a boat. She changes into a sexy dress and leaves. Dawson enters the boat to investigate and Doug catches Dawson in the act. Dawson saw a picture of a woman used as a bookmark and slips it into his pocket.

Doug says that the boat belongs to some old people. Pacey shows up. Doug told them to leave. At the Rialto opening, Rob has seated himself. Joey waits in the lobby and intercepts Andie. Joey tries to tell Andie what a creep Rob is, but Andie wouldn't hear of it. Joey then joins them and becomes a nuisance. Jen finds Jack and screams at him for trying to set her up with Henry. Eve appears in Dawson's room and wants the picture back. She said that it was a picture of her mom who she was looking for.

Eve leaves. Jack apologizes to Jen. They chat and Jen wonder if it was Jack who was lonely for a relationship. Sprinklers come on again. Rob asked Joey if she closed early to go to the movies that night. She said she did and was fired on the spot. Dawson brings an air conditioner to Grams's place and he spots a picture with the same woman in it. He was told that it was a picture of Jen's mom. So, it looks like Jen and Eve are half-sisters.

Home Movies Dawson and Pacey look through some home movies; Dawson is going to do a film piece on Jack, which will be used to fill some time at his mom's station; Dawson sees some old footage of Dawson and Joey as youngsters.

Jen sluggishly gets ready for cheerleader work. Pacey wants to cut class and asks Joey to join him because he has something to show Joey. Dawson begins filming Jack. They have an auction and the prize was a kiss from Jen. Jen didn't like this and quit cheerleading. Andie bumps into the educational testing guy in the hall and she becomes very jumpy. Principal Green drives by and trawls in the delinquent Pacey and Joey. Mitch doesn't want Dawson to do a piece on Jack.

Dawson seeks Joey advice on whether to film or not to film. Joey tells him to do what he feels is right. Dawson gives Joey a tape. Jen reconsiders the kiss thing after a bid of $500 had been entered and it was a charity contribution to homeless children. Green wants to see Andie Monday morning. Andie gets nervous and rants out at Jack.

The game occurs. Jack is getting killed and ridiculed. People knew about Jack being the star and being gay after viewing Dawson's documentary on TV. Green assigns Pacey and Joey to be the donkey mascot at the game. Andie talks to the mirror in preparation for her confession to Green. Dawson feels bad about what is happening on the field and enters the dressing room during intermission. Dawson offers to obscure the jersey numbers and Jen applies mascara to each of the players.

Andie finds Green and was ready to confess when Green offered her the head position of the Student Disciplinary Committee, which she accepts. Henry Parker was the one who bid $500 and was kissed by Jen. Green announces the Homecoming Queen as Jen --- another position she did not want. Pacey gets to show Joey what he wanted to show her in the first place. Pacey had bought a boat for $200, named it "True Love", and must whip it into shape. Pacey offered Joey some sandpaper and told her to begin sanding. The boat required a LOT of work. Mitch and Joey talk and settle their differences. Joey watches the video that Dawson had prepared --- a video of Dawson and Joey playing together as children. Joey enjoys the video.

None of the Above Dawson and Eve do "Movie Night" in Dawson's room, but all Eve wants to do is watch "Felicity".

The PSATs are this weekend and nervousness and tension builds. Pacey and Andie bump in the hall and exchange "pleasantries". The principal puts pressure on Joey to get a good score because she really has a shot at the "National Merit Scholarship". To ease tension, Joey asks Dawson if they could do "Movie Night", but Eve shows up and everything was off. At practice, Jack gets clobbered over and over. Rob asks Joey for a date, and Joey turns him down. Eve and Dawson go out on the roof and Eve gives Dawson a "advance" copy of the PSAT test.

Dawson offers the package to the group, but they argue about who needs it the most. A fire drill occurs and Dawson is asked to leave his belongings behind. The test sits on a desk. Rob is especially mean and cancels a night off that Joey had requested to prepare for her PSAT. Jen is bandaging Jack's bruised ribs. Jack wants to quit but Jen changes his mind. Dawson went at night to look for the exam.

Dawson goes back to the group and says that it was one of them. Andie gives back to Pacey everything he had given her. Henry Parker, the QB, has wild thoughts about Jen, and tells Jack about them. Pacey goes to visit Joey in a drunken state. Eve tells Dawson that it was one of his friends, and the first name to come to mind is the one who stole it. Dawson figures that it was Pacey and he goes looking for Pacey. They have a punchup and gets bloodied.

Joey nurses a beaten up and drunk Pacey. Dawson feels bad about what Eve has done to his life and tells her, "Now that I know you, I don't really like you." Jack, with renewed determination, does well at practice. At the beginning of the PSAT exam, Dawson returns the paper and walks out. A minute later, Pacey does the same. They talked and said that it was a dumb thing to be fighting over.

Homecoming Pacey and Dawson are talking while walking down the aisle at school. Eve pulls him into a janitor's closet and kisses him.

Eve says she's a senior at Dawson's school. Jack's dad, who has moved his business closer to home, doesn't want Jack to come home. Pacey and Joey try to get Andie home from the psychiatric center a day earlier but was denied admission. Joey distracted the nurse while Pacey snuck in. Principal Green, whose football team was winless in 3 years, asks Dawson to reedit some footage for the pep rally. Eve offers Dawson sex and he acccepts, but Eve will tell Dawson about the time and place. Pacey gets to Andie's room, and he interrupts Andie and a guy (Marc) sitting on Andie's bed.

Jack joins in and keeps picking off passes at practice. Dawson is at the drugstore looking for condoms. Pacey becomes jealous, but Andie tells Pacey not to worry, but Andie's body language seems to suggest that she didn't really want to leave. Henry Parker, the freshman quarterback, keeps sending passes to Jack.

Pacey asks Andie to go to the movies, but Andie seems to be giving him the brushoff. Mitch, tired of the gang of sorry-asses on his team, asks Jack if he wants to play ball. Jack, initially reluctant due to the ridicule he would receive, finally accepted after Mitch pleaded with him. Jen gives Dawson some sex tips. At the pep rally, Henry Parker falls at the feet of Jen, the head cheerleader, and his eyes seems to bulge out (possible love connection here). Pacey pulls Andie away for a chat. Dawson's film is shown at the pep rally. Eve pulls Dawson away from the projection room. Andie confesses to Pacey that she had slept with Marc once. Pacey walks away in anger. Eve wants to do the deed behind the screen as the school was watching the film. Dawson's butt taps the "raise screen" button and the whole school sees Dawson and Eve partially disrobed. The school cheers and Dawson accepts the applause, until he caught the shocked face on Joey in the audience (best scene).

Dawson, concerned with Joey, tells Pacey to have a talk with Joey to see if she was OK. Dad tries to ask Jack to come home and Jack responds, "No", again, but Jack tells his dad to ask again someday. Upon Joey's urgings, Pacey sought out Andie to clear the air. Andie asks for forgiveness; Pacey said that he could forgive but he couldn't forget. Upon returning home, Dawson sees Joey waiting for him at the dock. Joey tells Dawson that she realizes that it was time to move on. Dawson then gives Joey his necklace.

Like A Virgin Dawson returns to Capeside from summer in Philadelphia. On the bus, he meets a blonde who flirts with him. She was gone before he had a chance to find out her name. Also, the opening credit sequence contain snappier graphics.

Joey is working the docks with her new boss, Rob, who she hates. Dawson tells Pacey about the blonde on the bus. They go on to chat about Joey and Dawson says that he won't forgive her. Mitch is named the coach of the football team. Principal Green gives the opening day speech. Jen decides to try out for the cheerleading team, after being egged on by a nasty cheerleader, Belinda. Dawson and Pacey decide to go to a strip bar, after a Joey-sighting. The blonde (Eve) that Dawson met on the bus was working here as a stripper.

Eve appears at Dawson's house and surprises Dawson and Pacey by being there. Pacey tells Dawson to take Eve out on Mitch's powerboat, without Mitch's permission. At auditions, Jen tells Belinda to screw off in front of the whole school. Dawson and Eve kiss on the boat. With Dawson steering the boat, Eve attempts to perform oral sex on Dawson. As a result, Dawson crashes the boat into the dock. Joey comes to see who crashed, and Rob asked if she knew this moron. Joey responded, "I thought I did."

Rob assesses a $3000 bill for damages. Dawson gets mad at Eve for a second, but Eve tells him that he "should stop living from the neck up." Jen becomes head cheerleader and a folk hero after disgracing Belinda. Dawson rounds up his pennies and could only come up with $42.78. Eve shows up at Dawson's door and brings $400, collected from the girls at the bar. Dawson declined the money. Pacey suggests that they have a stripper party ($20/person) at Dawson's house to raise the money. Dawson just didn't feel right about the party and headed to his room to lie down. Joey was there in the dark. Joey tells Dawson that he was ashamed of what she did. That was why she didn't call Dawson. Joey takes off her shirt (to win Dawson back and feeling threatened by the presence of Eve) to offer her sexually to Dawson but Dawson said that he couldn't go through it again (i.e., the turmoil of last year). Joey leaves in tears.

The tally is in ... Dawson has raised $3162. Dawson tells Pacey that Joey still wants him. Dawson tells Pacey to look in on Joey to see if she was OK. Eve wants Dawson to go on another boat ride. Mitch comes home to the party and calls for Dawson. Dawson declines to go with Eve, and Eve tells Dawson off. Pacey finds Joey crying at the dock and comforts her with a hug.
