This is a story that I started a while back that picks up where the movie "One Fine Day" left off. The movie, which starred George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer, chronicled a day in the lives of two single parents in New York and the adventure they have together when every thing seems to go wrong. One thing goes right, though. Jack Taylor (Clooney) and Melanie Parker (Pfieffer) end up falling in love. The movie ends with them having shared one kiss and falling asleep together on the couch while their kids watch "The Wizard of Oz" in the other room. I always wondered what happened next so, since it doesn't look too hopeful there will ever be a sequel to the movie, I decided to right my own.
