GeoCities ~ This is obviously my fave since I use it! =o)
Angelfire ~ this is OK but they have annoying pop-ups
CrossWinds ~ don't know much about it
CyberCities ~ ditto CrossWinds, but neither of them have pop-ups or banners
Xoom ~ I think they have pop-ups but a lot of people like it

Camelot Design ~ A huge selection of animated .gifs, free for the taking.
Icon Bazaar ~ lots of animations and TONS of clip art!
Cool Text ~ make your own banners!
Free Banners ~ the name says it all!
