The Mysterious Cities of Gold was a 39-episode animated serial about 3 children searching for the Legendary Cities of Gold.
The show is set in the year 1532, The 3 children were, Esteban, an orphan from Barcelona, Tao, a young boy who's tha last of his tribe, The Hivas. And Zia a young Incan girl. Also alng with them are Mendoza, a Spanish navagator & two sailors, Pedro & Sancho who are comedy relief for the show. Okay here's why.It was one of the greatest cartoons ever made. Almost every show had the children trying to figure out some sort of riddle which would move them closer & closer,towards the Cities of Gold.
It ran on Nickelodeon here in New York & I wish had taped them while they were on.
They can no longer be seen here.They are now out on tape but only in France.
