While this is happening, Jen's Grandmother is
pleading with Jen to not make the same mistakes
as she did in New York. Dawson and Jen go to
Dawson's Mother's work to work in the studio.
When they take their brake, Dawson sees his Mother
kissing her co-anchor. Dawson's
wonderful world is falling apart.
He goes to talk to Joey and he finds out the she
has known about the affair. He gets enraged
and runs out; saying their friendship is over.
He goes to talk to Jen, saying that he wants to
have completely honesty with their relationship.
Jen tells him that she is not a virgin, and he's
shocked, but pretends that he isn't. Dawson's
world is crashing.
Pacey has seen Tamara talking, and having lunches
with Mr. Gold, the film teacher. He gets
mad, jealous, and asks her to choose. She tells
him not to worry; saying that she is not his type,
unless she resembled Mel Gibson. In which Pacey
responds in a shocked tone "Mr. Gold is
gay!"
Jen confronts Dawson about ignoring her, and he
does not reply. She goes to talk to Joey, and
Joey says she is to busy. When Jen tells Joey
that she told Dawson that she was not a virgin,
Joey talks to her. Joey tells her just to wait.
That Dawson will be around sooner or later.
Dawson is about to tell his father about his Mother,
but he doesn't get it out. As we end this
episode, Joey and Dawson make up and say that
they have had fun so far in their friendship,
and hope they can continue to be good friends.
They talk about a imaginary wedding, where
Dawson and Joey get married, but each bring their
own dates.  When the time comes up for
who to take home, Dawson can't answer. Joey says
goodnight.
