Dawson's father is still clueless to the affair
but invites Jen, Jen's Grandmother, Bessie, Bodi,
and Joey to come for shelter in their house.
Dawson and Joey fight, and Joey makes a good
point and Dawson stops and thinks. A little after
Jen and Joey question about the size of
Dawson's man-hood, asking, "Do you think he has
a rifle or a pistol?"
Jen's Grandmother makes remarks about Bessie's
baby being half black and half white, and
says it's not right. Which they respond that
this baby will have one thing, it will be 100% loved.
She says she does not like when children raise
children.
Meanwhile Pacey and his deputy brother are putting
up no swimming signs on the beach. They
help board up Tamara's house and stay with her,
playing games. Pacey remarks that his
brother is gay, and when Tamara says that he
is gay after asking her out, he pulls his gun on
Pacey. Pacey says that he is not gay, and they
return to their game of monopoly.
Then Dawson's mother tells her husband, with Dawson
in the room, that every time she has
stayed late, made excuses, it was to have sex
with another man. He asks Dawson to leave and
becomes enraged, telling Mrs. Leary not to cry,
she doesn't deserve to cry. He runs out to his
car and sits. She follows him in which he tells
her that he fell in love with her the first time he met
her, right away. And as fast as he made that
decision, he is changing it.
He drives away, and returns after the hurricane.
Dawson and Jen have made up, and Dawson
has becomes good friends with Joey. Mr. Leary
asks Mrs. Leary why she had an affair, and she
said that her life was too perfect, that she
needed something to change
