The Gromble's Monster Academy - Episode Guide - Season 3

Episode Guide - Season 3

Welcome to Season 3 of "The Gromble's Monster Academy's" Episode Guide.
Season 3

#1 Festival of the Festering Moon
The title is the reason the monsters are celebrating. At this festival, they celebrate adolescence by shedding their skins when the moon is full. It all starts with uncontrollable pulsating, something Ickis isn't experiencing. And The Gromble mentions that whoever sheds last will leave the Academy, never to return. And since Krumm has to get the band to play hideously instead of beautifully, and Oblina's got a ceremonial dance to learn, Ickis is left on his own to find a way to defy the fates - quickly

Simon's Big Score
Krumm eats all the bugs on a pizza when the monsters go to scare Simon. However, one of them was a mechanical "bug" with a listening device, which allows Simon to eavesdrop on monster conversations, and show up on all of their scares. This causes all monsters in the Academy to believe that one of them is a traitor to all monsters.

#2 Krumm Gets Ahead
Tired of losing his eyes, and having to hold them at all, Krumm lets the Doc Monster make him a real head from a purse. But Krumm can't get out of toilets with it, and his newfound happiness makes him a pain in the neck to everyone else.

It's Only a Movie
After sitting through the cute cuddly movie "Cuddles Saves the Forest", Ickis fears that the real Cuddles the Bear is after him, even after saying he's not scared. When he actually starts seeing this bear in the dump, he panics more than ever, not realizing that Cuddles and Zimbo have a similar voice pattern, and forgetting that Zimbo challenged him by asking what he'd do if Cuddles was real...

#3 Monster Blues
Falsely accused of pelting The Gromble with mud, sentenced to wearing one of The Snorch's clown suits, and thoroughly humiliated, Ickis runs away. When a chase sequence involving a bullgog leads him to an abandoned old building, he finds a blind blues man named Ellis Robinson living there. They team up to scare away the wrecking crew who plan to bring the bulding down so that an office building can come up, while Ickis's two friends search the city to find him.

Heard The Snorch Call My Name
Oblina gets tired of Ickis and Krumm's antics, and The Snorch longs to offer her some intelligent conversation. He goes to The Gromble for help, and The Gromble brings in Dr. Buzz Kutt, who installs his invention, the Kutt Translator 3000, in The Snorch. It works, and Oblina and the Snorch become inseperable, leaving Ickis, Krumm, and Zimbo feeling alone and jealous, so the three of them band together to keep the new couple from enjoying each other's company.

#4 Amulet of Enfarg
Ickis tries to escape the responsibility of cleaning The Gromble's Amulet of Enfarg, but actually exhibits an honorable monster trait in doing so, and gets the job. Oblina tells him that one day he'll be cleaning his own amulet, which leads to a daydream, which inspires Ickis to wear it to a group scaring assignment. Ickis takes up the whole scare, and loses the amulet, then begs his friends to help him look for it. Problem is: not only has fashion designer Deitrich Duchump found inspiration in it, and created copies of it; but Phuepal was on the assignment with the monsters, and he ended up telling The Gromble.

Bad Hair Day
Ickis and Krumm humiliate Urbab andKriggle on Monster Mischief Day, so they get even by shaving off Krumm's pit hair. At the opening to this episode, a scientist invents a tonic that makes hair grow faster, but it doesn't work on him, so he leaves it all in the dump. After Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm spend all day scring and searching for replacement hair (It takes 17 years for a Krumm's pit hair to grow back), Ickis finds it and pours 11 bottles of the stuff on Krumm's pits, which causes Krumm's pit hair to grow wild and overrun the Academy.

#5 Who'll Stop the Brain?
Ickis warned Oblina not to study too hard, or she'd fry her brain. When it happens, she sniffs the smoke, and sneezes her brain right out of her narrow head. When The Gromble finds out that her brain is missing, Ickis and Krumm look all over for it, while the brain just tries to relax.

Cement Heads
75 years, 2 months, 1 week, and 4 days ago, three monsters were accused of robbing the toenail bank. They were sentenced to life as cement gargoyles. When their building is about to go down, Ickis lets them loose. They convince him to help them find their old stomping grounds, which is where they buried the toenails. When Ickis realizes he's been tricked, it's too late, and only Oblina, Krumm, and The Gromble (who sentenced the monster crooks to begin with) can save him.

#6 Ickis and the Red Zimbo
Ickis finds life and scaring to be a breeze, using a remote controlled toy helicopter he finds in the dump. He soon forgets how to loom, and The Gromble just doesn't like it. Since Zimbo's the only monster in class who naturally flies, he's also extremely upset, and does whatever he can to put Ickis's "flying thing" out of commision.

Oblina and the Three Humans
The Gromble's nephew, Chomble won't stop crying, so he leaves him with Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm. Oblina tells them a story about a monster who let two Germans cross her bridge, because they promised a tougher scare in the next man to cross , which is the only way she can keep Chomble from endlessly bawling.

#7 Baby It's You
The Gromble must have a large family. This time, he leaves his baby nephew, Bomble (who likes to bite Ickis's head) in the care of Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm; just as they were about to go to a hospital to eat the trash. Ickis leaves Bomble in a basket, and when Oblina finds a wrapped baby bundle, they think they've got it made. WRONG! Bomble is acually making the lives of a couple who just had a baby a living nightmare, and the monsters have their baby!

Monsters Are Fun
That's the name of a new carnival ride that does a better job of making monsters look bad than murray the Monster himself. The Gromble assigns Oblina and Krumm to scare everyone who goes on that ride, and shut it down, but their long-eared, magenta-colored, left out friend at the bottom of the class list is the one who does it. Only he does it so well, that the manager of the ride changes it to "Monsters Are Scary".

#8 You Only Scare Twice
Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm have to comlete an advaced scare in one day, or they'll have to repeat their first year of school, so they pick Secret Agent 411. Easy enough scare, despite him being one of the most challenging candidates for a scare, right? Wrong. He got the position of being one of the hardest to scare, because he's always on a mission, and never stays still long enough to be scared, as Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm find out when they follow him on his mission to thwart "Operation: Evil Vision".

Less Talk More Monsters
When radio station KDMP announces they've buried $50, 000 in cash in the dump, humans from all over town swarm the place in order to find it. The Gromble gets the class to scare some of them away, but when there get to be too many of them, and they try to get inside the washer (the Academy entrance), The Gromble orders a lockdown, and Only Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm can actually do anything to fix it, as they're locked out.

#9 Out of the Past
Only one human has ever scared The Gromble; it was a Jolly Rooter plumber. And when an image on the Viewfinder from Ickis's latest scare attempt shows his truck to him again, he's shocked to see it at first. Then he decides to take Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm with him on the scare of their lives, as he heads out to settle an old score once and for all. But by now, time has turned the muscular man of Jolly Rooter Plumbing into an old couch potato, much to The Gromble's dismay.

Ship of Fools
The Gromble goes away on the annual Academy Teacher's Convention and Vacation Cruise, leaving Oblina in his position. She turns out to be a royal pain to everyone, and has Ickis rebelling against her. Soon, there are two sides trying to find their own way to save the Academy (or their very lives) when and endless rainstorm clogs up the sewer and floods the dump, leaving Krumm to try and solve the problem at hand.

#10 Eye Full of Wander
Ickis and Krumm are playing catch with one of Krumm's eyes, when a snake swallows it. Now the three of them are hot on its trail in order to get Krumm's eye back, which takes them to Nigel Cretin's World Tour rock concert when he buys it at a pet shop.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Scary
Ickis and Krumm go with Oblina to visit her rich parents, Skeech and Sublima. Sublima insits that Oblina does not return to the Academy, being that scaring is so "common", but Oblina has other ideas - and Her friends and father behind her.

#11 Fistful of Toenails
Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm are feasting on filmstrips, when they discover that they're old Western movies. The Gromble always said never to watch them, but they did anyway, and started acting just like the movie characters. When Zimbo finds out, he rats on them, and they're sent to the Chamber of Horrors (from "The Switching Hour"). The three monsters decide enough is enough, and they set up a showdown in the dump at "high moon" - toilet plungers at 20 paces.

Blind Love, Monster Love
Ickis falls in love with a puppet named Judy, and dreams about her. His friends tell him to go for it, not knowing what she is, and he "rescues" her from the puppeteer, and brings her home with him, where he's nearly humiliated by the fact that she's just a puppet.

#12 Wake Me When It's Over
Ickis shows his distaste for rabbits by eating a foil-covered chocolate bunny. This causes him to start sleepscaring, which allows for fabulous scares that he can't remember in the morning. It could be dangerous doing this all the time, so his two friends decide to protect him from himself.

Things That Go Bump
Ickis is partnered for "pair scaring" with the clumsy new student, The Skrink. When their training is a disaster for Skrink, Ickis decides to do an easy scare, by going where Oblina and Krumm planned to go - the old house on the hill (from "The War Is Over"), which is where some teenagers plan on having a seance.

#13 The Master Monster
Blook the Granfaloon, the Chief Prefect and Executive Director of Monster Administration, is a short, round, orange, rule bound monster. When he evaluates The Gromble's class, he finds out that he practices illegal teaching procedure, and fires him immediately. When Blook's endless sessions on rules and "bonsty school" scaring drive the class nuts, they all do anything they can to bring back The Gromble.

Slumber Scare
Ickis, Krumm, Kriggle, and Urbab won't let Oblina hang out with them because they're doing "guy stuff", so she has a slumber party with Dizzle and Hairyette to do "girlie stuff". Ickis, Krumm, Kriggle, and Urbab don't think this is fair and they decide to steal the girls' scares and bug them to death.
