"Josh, I really am getting worried. I better call the
airline and see what is going on with her flight." says Hanna.
"Alright, baby, I'll get ready to go to the office. Maybe she
will be here by then." Josh tell Hanna as he goes up to the
bedroom.
Hanna is searching for the piece of paper with the
flight information on it when the phone rings. Hanna runs to grab
the phone "Hello..". "Yes, hello, I am looking for ms. Hanna
Martin?" a strange voice says. "Yes, this is Hanna. May I help
you?" Hanna is getting scared. "This is the Sagaway City General
emergency room. I am calling for your friend, Jennifer. There
has been an accident. Her limo was involved in a crash. She will
be fine. She just wants you to come and pick her up. Can I tell
her to expect you?" asks the nurse. "Of course! I'm on my way! Is
she really O.K.? What is wrong with her?" Hanna asked in a panic.
"She just hurt her arm. It may be broken. She is in x-ray now.
Don't worry, dear. She will be waiting for you. Goodbye." the
nurse said. Ending the conversation.
"Josh....Josh come down here!!" shouted Hanna. Josh
comes running down the stairs. "What happened? Who was that on
the phone?" Nick asked "It was the emergency room! Jennifer's
limo driver got into an accident! Can you take me to the
hospital?" Hanna was very excited. "O.K., calm down. Tell me what
happened!" Josh tried to calm her down. "I don't know! The nurse
said her arm might be broken or something! Let's go!"
When they arrived at the hospital Jennifer was sitting
on the bench waiting. Her arm was in a sling. Hanna yelled
"Jennifer!!!" The girls ran to each other. They hugged. "Hi,
Hanna! I've missed you!" Jen says. "I've missed you, too! What
happened to you?" Hanna asked. "This van came out of nowhere! I
just hope that the driver is O.K. He didn't look so good. My arm
isn't broken, just soar. I'm fine really. So..(seeing Josh for
the first time) don't tell me this is YOUR husband." Jen teases.
"Ooh, yes, honey, this is Jennifer, Jen, this is the love of my
life, Joshua Martin" Hanna said, proudly. "Hi, Josh. Nice to meet
you!" said Jennifer. "Same here. You are as pretty as Hanna
descirbed you." said Josh "Oh, honey, you made her blush!"
laughed Hanna. "Gee, Hanna, you look radiant! Pregnancy really
agrees with you!" Jen complimented. "I really do feel great! I
can't wait for this baby to be born, though. I am so excited!"
boast Hanna. "Me, too. I can't wait to be a godmother! Can we
get out of here, now? Hospitals give me the creeps!" pleaded
Jennifer. "This way, ladies" Josh gestured jokingly.
