"Baby, I'm sure she is fine. Relax. All this worrying
is not good for the baby!" scolds Josh. "I think the baby will
be o.k. if I spend a few minutes worrying about my best friend
in the whole world! I am going to call the airlines." says Hanna.
"Fine, baby. Look, don't be angry but I have to go to the office
now. Will you be alright?" ask Josh. "Sure, honey. I'll be just
fine. Your baby and I will be just fine." snips Hanna. "Don't be
angry. I really want to me Jen but I have to get some work done."
"I know" replys Hanna "but all work and no play makes a lonely
wife". "You know I love you" Josh says as he rubs her belly. She
kisses him passionately. "I know you love me, honey, I just wish
you didn't have to work all the time. Go ahead. I will try to see
what happened with Jennifer and you two will just have to meet
each other tonight. Try to come home early, o.k.?" pleds Hanna.
"I'll try. Says hi to Jennifer. Bye, baby." He says (as he kneels
down to kiss her tummy) "you too, baby". Hanna laughs. Joshua
leaves.
As Hanna is trying to find the phone number of the
airline the phone rings. "Hello?" "Hi, Hanna?" the man asks. "Yes
this is Hanna. Who is this?" the voice doesn't sound familar.
"This is Nick. Nick Agostino, Jen's boyfriend. How are you?"
Nick asks. "Oh, sure, Nick. How are you? Jen still hasn't
arrived. I'm getting worried." she tells him. "The flight was
a little behind. She should be there soon. I just wanted to
talk to you about something." he informs her. "Sure, Nick. What
is it?" Hanna is curious. "You see, Nana...." she interupts
"No one but you calls me that. I've missed you!" Nick laughs
"I've missed you, too! So does Jen. Did you know she is
planning to move to Sagaway City permenantly?" Hanna is
shocked. "She is? She never told me! This is great!" Hanna
squeals. "Good for you maybe. Not me. We had a fight. That's why
she is going to Sagaway City." Nick explains. "Sorry, she didn't
tell me any of this. What happened with you two?" She asks. "It
is a long and boring story. I want things she is not ready for.
She wants things I am not ready for. I can't lose her, Nana.
What am I going to do?" Nick sounds desperate. "You still love
her a lot, don't you, Nick?" questions Hanna. "I am nothing
without my Jen, you know that. She made me the man I am today.
Can you talk to her for me, Nana. Try to convince her to come
back home. You just have to. Say you will!" Nick pleads. "I'll
see what I can do, sweetie, I promise. Look, I think I hear the
Limo now. I'll have her call you soon, I promise." Hanna
reassured him. "Thanks, honeyface, I owe you one. Big time.
Bye." Nick said. "Bye, Nick." Hanna hung up the receiver and ran
for the door.
As soon as Hanna opened the front door there before
her stood one of the most beautiful girls in the world. Her
blonde, blue eyed, long legged friend was as pretty as ever.
"Hi.." they both yelled in unison. "You look great!" they said
together again. They both hugged and laughed. "Hanna, just look
at you. So..pregnant. How is my future Godchild?" Jen asks. "The
baby is just fine. How are you?" Hanna sounded concerned. "I'm
just fine, girl. Why do you ask me that way?" "What way?" Hanna
acts innocent. "Like I have some kind of big problem or
something". Jen looks curious "It's just that, well, Nick
called right before you got here and said you two where having
some problems" Hanna explained. "Ooh, he did, did he? Well if he
calls back tell him I don't want to talk to him. Not now, not
ever!" Jennifer sounded really serious. "What happen? He just
said you were thinking of moving to Sagaway City. Is that true?"
Hanna asked her friend. "I was thinking about it. Being close
to you again. Getting away from my problems. I don't want to be
rude, but, I don't want to get into my problems with you right
now, o.k.? Let's just catch up. How is this.....is it Joshua?"
Jen said, teasing Hanna. "You KNOW it is Joshua. Ooh, Jen, he is
the best thing that has ever happened to me! I love him so much!
I just can't wait for this baby to be born so we can be a real
family! I am very, very happy. I just want the same thing for you
and for Nick. Can't you work things out?" Hanna asks.
