Episode 35 Conclusion

We see Drennen and Eliza, now at a table, talking and commiserating about their sad love lives. Although Eliza knows about Valerie, she chooses not to tell her new friend she met her. Instead, she listens to him talk about the good times he had while he and Valerie were newly married, and she begins to recall her own happier times with Lance.

Lance and Rosamond are in her bedroom, making love, tuning out the rest of the world as they enjoy each other.

Kane and Valerie reminisce about their love affair, giving up Paul to the Harpers, and the relationships they formed after they broke up. While talking, Valerie's love for Kane grows even more, and she decides she has to make Paul a part of her and her daughters' lives----even if it means risking Drennen's wrath.

While all this is going on, Valerie's daughters Zoe and Amaya are in a booth at the Sherwood Diner, talking about Paul.

Zoe: So you want to do it? You want to meet our half-brother?

Amaya: Yes. He seemed so nice. And I know Mom would want us to do it.

Zoe: Okay then. Tomorrow we find him and introduce ourselves. I hope he'll talk to us May.

Amaya: I hope so too. Mom's happiness depends on it....
