It is late morning. Paul and Larry have escaped Quentin and are about 45 minutes away from Wakefield Mental Hospital.
Larry: I hope that driver doesn't realize we've ditched him.
Paul: I don't think so. Why don't you call the police and have them begin that license plate trace.
Larry: Good idea. (He picks up Pual's cell phone and dials. After two rings, Russell Gault answers).
Russell: Lieutenant Gault.
Larry: Russell, this is Larry Sherwood.
Russell: Larry! What can I do for you?
Larry: Can you trace a license plate number for me?
Russell: Sure. What's the tag number?
Larry (slowly): MCX-559. It's a red 2 door Neon, Maryland tags. Paul and I are on our way to Wakefield and it followed us, but we lost it. We think the driver is Tess' night caller.
Russell: Wow. Okay, give me some time and I'll call you right back. What's your phone number?
Larry: 410-555-9999. I'll be waiting to hear from you. (Hangs up the phone)
Russell should have something for us pretty soon.
Paul: Great!
Cut to Lance Grimes' office at Grimes Incorporated. He's trying to do his work, but can only think of Rosamond Tucker.
Lance (to himself): I have to stop living this lie. Rosie has to know how much I love her and need her. How can I be with Eliza when I want to be with Rosie? (Knock at the door)
It's open. (In comes Eliza Braxton)
Eliza, what are you doing here? We aren't supposed to meet until 12:30.
Eliza: I wanted to give you a little snack first. (Begins undressing)
Lance: No Eliza. Not here again. We almost got caught last time.
Eliza: Well lock the door. And this time, I'll try not to make so much noise.
Lance: No Eliza. I have work to do.
Eliza (walking over to Lance half undressed, and planting herself on his desk): Work can wait. I can't. (She gives him a passionate kiss).
Lance gets up and locks the door. He grabs Eliza and pushes her onto the couch in the corner of his office. But as they begin to make love, he can only think of Rosamond.
Back at the Grimes mansion, Ingrid and Rosamond are in the spacious living room when Marcus comes through the double doors.
Ingrid: Marcus dear, what are you doing back home?
Marcus: Can you believe I forgot a contract? I think I need to start taking St. John's Wort.
Ingrid (laughing): You're only human honey.
Marcus: Thanks dear. (He kisses her and heads upstairs)
Rosamond: I have wonderful news Mrs. Grimes. My sister, her husband, and my niece are coming here to live! You remember the old Camden house? They're moving into there. I'm so happy!
Ingrid: That is wonderful news. I'm looking forward to seeing them.
Rosamond: Well, Cordy and Everett are tired of Miami. And Cordy and I were so close as kids. It will be so nice to become sisters again. And I can't wait to play "Aunt Rosie" to Jadyn. (Roark appears from the study)
Roark: Hi Mom. Hi Rosie. (Goes over to kiss Ingrid)
Ingrid: Hi dear.
Roark: I'm going over to the University of Maryland to register for some business courses, then I'm meeting Brady for lunch at Elaine's. See you later.
Ingrid: Have a nice time dear.
Rosamond: Goodbye. (Marcus comes down the stairs as Roark is leaving)
Roark: Hey Dad. See you tonight. I'm off to UMD. (Leaves)
Marcus: UMD?
Ingrid: He's signing up for business classes.
Marcus: That's my boy. Okay ladies, it's back to work. I'll be home after six. (Kisses his wife again) I love you Ingy. Goodbye Rosamond.
Rosamond: Goodbye Mr. Grimes.
Ingrid: Don't work too hard dear. (Marcus smiles, than leaves).
We're back at the diner. Tess and Loretta are getting ready for lunchtime.
Tess: Dorothy and Savannah will be in later. Ronnie's sick, so Dottie's taking him to the vet, and Savannah took Scott to the pediatrician.
Loretta: Pets and kids. What would we do without them? (Before Tess can reply, the phone rings).
Tess: I'll get it. Hello, Sherwood Diner, this is Tess.
Sinister Voice/Quentin: Tessie, I'm warning you! If you don't stop your brother and your fiance from snooping, they'll die! And you're going to die very, very soon! I'm not playing! YOU WILL DIE!
Loretta (noticing Tess' horror): Tess honey what's wrong? It's that caller again isn't it? (Tess hangs up the phone and cries)
Loretta (running over to Tess): Why is this happening? Why???
Paul and Larry are about 15 minutes from Wakefield when the cell phone rings.
Larry: It's Russell. I hope he's got something. (Picks up the phone)
Hello? Russell hey. What have you got?
Russell: That license plate belongs to a red 2 door Neon, but it's registered to a Lora Del Rio from Bel Air.
Larry: The person following us is a woman?
Russell: No Larry. Her car was stolen a year ago. Lora disappeared at the same time. Her mother reported the car stolen and her daughter missing.
Larry: Thanks Russell for all your help. (Hangs up the phone)
Paul: He have anything?
Larry: You bet. The car belonged to a Lora Del Rio from Bel Air. It was reported stolen by her mom after she disappeared a year ago.
Paul: Oh my God Larry. That means the person who called Tess might be reponsible for this other woman's disappearance. Now I know for sure we have to find out what's going on. Because we might be dealing with a murderer!
