Episode 50--Contiuned

Drennen turns up the radio and begins flashing back to a Christmas when he and Valerie were young, and Zoe and Amaya were toddlers. He remembers the looks on his little girls' faces as they opened their gifts, and Valerie putting her arms around him. A single tear runs down Drennen's cheek, but then he smiles.

Meanwhile, Lance and Rosamond are at Cordelia and Everett's watching Jadyn open her presents. Rosamond proudly shows off her diamond and sapphire tennis bracelet Lance gave her, and Lance shows off his gold watch Rosamond gave him.

Kane, Valerie, Zoe, and Amaya are at Paul and Tess' house, looking at honeymoon pictures, while at the Grimes mansion, Marcus is videotaping Roark, Fawn, and Ingrid building a snowman.

Larry and Deanna are at Eliza's cheering her up out of her depression about Drennen and showering her with gifts for her and the baby.

Back at the diner, Drennen is drinking his second cup of coffee and still reminiscing about his family. Loretta is on the phone with Dorothy, who plans to come down to the diner with Russell. While Loretta is talking, Drennen's mood turns dark again, and another deadly plan forms in his mind.

Drennen (To himself): Paul and Kane, you can have Valerie and my girls for Christmas, but by midnight on New Year's Eve, they'll be back with me. You two can just forget about planning to ring in 2001. You won't be alive to celebrate it....
