Jax and V. Meet part 2
At the station
Ofc. Ardanowski: step right this way, Mr. Jax. We're going to fingerprint you.
Jax: I'm not going anywhere until comm. Scorpio gets here.
Ofc. Ardanowski: Have it your way.
Mac: So, what have you done this time, Jax?
Jax: As I've already explained to the officer here, nothing.
Ofc. Ardanowski: I brought him in on suspicion of jumping bail, sir. He was just a couple of miles shy of the canadian border.
Mac: Well, it's nice to know you're thinking on your feet there -- Ardanowski. I'll make sure your superiors hear about your good work.
Jax: What?
Ofc. Ardanowski: I've been following the case in the papers, sir. He jumps, that's several months of investigation right down the drain.
Mac: Well, I appreciate your concern. I wish I had more people out there with your dedication.
Jax: Could we have a moment in private, please? Or are you going to award her the congressional medal of honor?
Mac: excuse me.
Jax: What the hell are you doing?
Mac: Protecting the Dorman investigation.
Jax: At my expense.
Mac: I can't tell her you're a decoy, Jax. It's too risky.
Jax: This is way more than I bargained for, Mac.
Mac: Look, I know that it's rough. But once we nail Dorman, you'll be a hero, ok?
Jax: Yeah, if I make it.
Mac: This isn't going to happen again, believe me. Deputy, listen. Since Mr. Jjacks here hasn' committed any actual crime, I'm going to release him in his own custody. But thank you for being on top of things.
Ofc. Ardanowski: well, that's what I'm here for, Sir.
Jax: Does that mean I can go?
Ofc.
Ardanowski: keep your nose clean, Mr. Jacks. I'll be watching.
Mac: Yeah. Me, too.
Next morning at Jax's. Jax opens the door to get the paper, and
V. is standing there
Jax: Oh, not again.
Officer: Good morning.
Jax: I won't ask why you're here, though I am curious as to why you are carrying my shirts.
Officer: Forgive my presumption, Mr. Jacks, I took the
liberty of accepting them from the cleaners.
Jax: Well, thank you. That's very considerate.
Officer: Actually, sir, I wanted to check them for contraband.
Jax: Ah. You must have heard that I like my heroin on hangers, no starch.
Officer: Details, sir that's the way crimes get solved.
Jax: Yes, that's very good" except I haven't committed one.
Officer: You mean you haven't been convicted yet.
Jax: Is this personal, officer? Have I run over your dog or something?
Officer: Let's just say I have a feeling about you.
Jax:
Based on what, exactly? You know what? Don't bother answering that. I'm going
to put an end to this today.
