Barbara Crampton joined the cast of Days of our Lives in 1983. She played Marlena's younger cousin Trista Evans. We know that she is the daughter of Frank Evans' brother and a woman named Barbara Talmadge. Trista saw her mother being murdered when she was little but she blocked the memory out. She grew up being very close to Sam and Marlena. Trista thought of Marlena as her big sis. She came to town the first night that Marlena and Roman had alone after they were married. Trista was in Salem to study nursing at University Hospital. Trista ended up falling in love with Eugene Bradford. The two married but their happiness was not meant to be because Trista was murdered by the Salem Slasher.
