The scene begins with Marlena looking at the cards she's received while in the hospital. RoJohn enters the room.

RoJohn: Hey Doc.
Marlena: Hi. Hi.
RoJohn: Hey listen are you sure you should be up and moving around?
Marlena: I think it's all right. I had to read these cards. There are so many and I haven't had a chance to look at them.
RoJohn: Well we missed you so much honey.
Marlena: I missed you. When was the last time you were here?
RoJohn: I think it was this morning.
Marlena: It seems like ages ago. I can't believe that was this morning. You know life is passing so slowly and it's all your fault.

Marlena opens the top buttons on her nightgown.

RoJohn: Oh and how is that? I keep thinking about you all day long and what it's like to wake up with you and what it's like to go to bed with you.
RoJohn: Sound like prettty nice thoughts to me.

Marlena puts her arms around Ro John's waist.

Marlena: I want to be home with you right now.

RoJohn cups Marlena's face.

RoJohn: The doctor said you're going to go home real soon.
Marlena: It's not soon enough for me. Not soon enough.

They kiss. Roman goes over to the door.

RoJohn: Humm.
Marlena: What? What? What are you doing?

Roman takes off his coat.

Marlena: Roman what are you doing?

Marlena grabs a hold of his jacket.

RoJohn: Get in bed.

Marlena lets go of the jacket.

RoJohn: Get in bed.
Marlena: Yes sir!

Marlena gets in bed and adjusts her nightgown. RoJohn hangs his jacket over the door window so no one can look in. He locks the door.

RoJohn: Are you locking us in? No I'm locking them out.
Marlena: Are you you going to take advantage of me please!
RoJohn: I'm gonna do my best.

Marlena lowers herself on to the matress while RoJohn gets on top of her.

Marlena: Oh your best is just the best there is. I'm okay. I'm okay.

They kiss.

Marlena: What if somebody wants to get in?

RoJohn shifts his weight, grabs her face and begins to kiss her. There's a knock at the door.

Maggie: Marlena! Marlena are you alright? Marlena!
RoJohn: She's just fine!

They kiss again.

Maggie continues to knock on the door. John's kissing Marlena's neck. RoJohn gets up from the bed.

RoJohn: Oh! Okay!
Marlena adjusts her night gown.
Marlena: Do I look okay?
RoJohn: Doc we're not fooling anybody.
Marlena: Oh.
Marlena grabs the covers. RoJohn opens the door and goes outside to see Maggie and a nurse. Roman puts his jacket back on.
RoJohn: Oh maggie!
Maggie: Roman.
Nurse: Captain Brady is everything all right in there?
RoJohn: Oh yeah everything's just fine in there.
Roman tucks his shirt into his pants.
RoJohn: I think the door was stuck.
Maggie: Ah well yes that must explain it. I'm really sorry.

Maggie and RoJohn enter Marlena's room.
