Scott is the guy...the guy who wasn't the nice guy...if you know what i mean.  He was never seen until Kathleen bacame interested in him in High School.  She enjoyed him and his funky teenaged goatee.  She liked it.  Well basically he beat the living shit out of her a lot of times before she called the police and dumped him.......................................................too bad, they were good together.  Well, not really but it's fun to think that.
