38 CASSIE E. BOWMAN, born 1859 and after a number of successful terms as a teacher she married 1882 Ben C. Bowman, a farmer tho since a successful real estate and business man of Muncie, Ind. To them have been born two sons and two daughters, a well balanced family. Fred H. 1885, Ralph G. 1890, Helen 1892 and Harriet 1895. Cassie is not a club woman but is giving her time and attention to caring for her jewels; no criticism however to women's clubs.

Cassie E. Heath, the eldest daughter of Jacob W. Heath, was born January 13, 1859. She received an education in the schools of Muncie and the Normal at Danville, Ind., and is a teacher in the city school at present.
