52 SARAH (SALLY) ANN DWIGGINS, born in N. C. 1812, married 1831 to James Dwiggins, a farmer of Frankton, Ind. They had four sons and two daughters: Nathan, 1835; Daniel, 1832; Rufus, 1837; Susan, 1839; Thomas, 1841; Sarah, 1843. Sally Ann died at Frankton, 1843, age 30.

James Dwiggins, about three years before his decease, which occurred about one year ago, gave his son Rufus $39 in gold with which to purchase a monument for him after his death. On Monday last, Rufus, true to his trust, paid the self-same money to Dr. W. o. Canaday, in payment for a handsome monument that marks the last resting place of his honorable father.

52 GARRETSON (GARRISON) TOMLINSON, born in N. C. 1814. Never married. Farmed near Honey Creek, Ind. where he died in 1838, age 24.

52 ELIZABETH TOMLINSON, born 1816 in N. C., never married. Lived with her father at Honey Creek where she died in 1853.

52 JOHN S. TOMLINSON, was born in N. C. 1821, married 1842 to Mary Emily Tomlinson, his second cousin. A history of his family is given with that of his wife. He was a man of a quiet disposition and lived at peace with all men. He as a successful farmer, raising his family on a farm in the old Mt. Zion neighborhood after which he owned a farm near Oakville and selling that, he bought a farm near Albany, Delaware County, Ind. where he died 1891, age 70.

The Death of John Tomlinson
John Tomlinson,
one of the old residents of the county, died this morning at his home in Albany, after a lingering illness of several weeks. Deceased was 70 years of age and was well known throughout the county. Funeral tomorrow at four o'clock at the residence. Interment at the Tomlinson cemetery.

52 SUSAN TOMLINSON, born in N. C. 1823, never married. Lived at the home of James W. Heath for several years. She and her halfsister, Caroline, were seamstresses and lived the last years of her life at Honey Creek where she died 1895, age 71.
