32 Mrs. JOHN JONES was born in North Carolina in 1772 and married John Jones, date of marriage and death unknown. They had no children which explains why there is no further history; no one was left who was interested in perpetuating their memory. They may have been saints in character and good works but if so they are forgotten. Some people think it's an easier life to live without children to bother your life, get sick and die, or grow up and leave you in your old days, in which there is some truth, but the home life without a child in it is more of an existence than living. Such people surely have to pinch themselves occasionally to find if they are really alive. Children intensify the emotions, develop love and sympathy for the weak and dependent and awaken elements of our characters of the highest value. Even if they die young they lived for a purpose and will always be a child to the parents who gave it birth.
