Welcome to Temptation In Prose!
12/02/03: The December challenge is posted now, sorry I didn't get to it yesterday. There is one story in the archives with the Jason Mraz Title Challenge. Remember, you can still submit stories for that even though the deadline has hit!

But now there's a cure!
Temptation In Prose is a fanfic challenge site, meant to inspire you and entertain the creator because she can't seem to find enough fic. With the idea planted, your story will grow wings, take off and leave Writer's Block eating the dust bunnies under your desk to survive. Every month a new challenge will be posted, a new chance to beat back Writer's Block. And if it ever sneaks up on you, just go through the archives--eventually, there will be something there--read past challenges and beat it back with the stick they can give you.
All this for only three easy payments of $19.95! No? One easy payment? Sigh. Alright, free with pimpage.
Wanna play? Great! Read the rules and let me know.
I'm not making any money, I'm not posting stories by anyone making money off of them because they would be very much above wanting me to. I claim to own nothing but the name, content and design of this site. Everything else belongs to someone else and I don't have anything worth suing over.
Writer's Block is evil. The love child of Hitler and Lionel Luthor, Writer's Block was recognized as too evil by his parents at an early age. So evil in fact that when they tried to kill Writer's Block to save the world the torment that it would undoubtedly cause, the devil himself took the disease under his wing. Nurturing it, Satan saw his chance to get a plague of his own in, feeding it, training it. Then finally sent upon unsuspecting, innocent writers every where to make them crazy and cranky and very not fun. Writer's Block will ruin your joy, steal all your formally great ideas, make every word you write feel wrong and forced, create meals of muses and plot bunnies.
