Jehovah's witnesses paper Jehovah’s Witnesses, Declaring God’s Word Throughout the World a young couple going door to door, giving out publications. Young children are saying the pledge but one girl stands out from the rest not putting her hand on her heart or saying the pledge but standing with respect. An elderly woman won’t accept blood for an operation, even though it might safe her life. A young man is thrown into prison because he won’t do military service to his country. These are a few things that Jehovah’s Witnesses are known for. Their conduct, speech and attitude, stands out from all other people in the world, whether it would be in school, in the home or at work. They follow and center their lives around the entire bible and its is the only standard for their believes and way of life. They follow Christ’s example of preaching and teaching and making disciples whether it be on the streets or in school, thus hated and spoken against *. But no matter what the circumstance, they remand faithful… There work is completely voluntary. The Trinity is not part of their teachings. They accept the fact that Jehovah and Christ are two separate individuals. They believe in creation, not evolution. Christ was made first by God before all other creation and through him came other things 1. But we recognize Jehovah as the source of life, thus give him worship. We also recognize Christ as our savior and king. Jehovah’s witnesses are known for not celebrating holidays or birthdays. They don’t get involve into politics or national holidays. They do how ever observe “The Lord Evening Meal”. But unlike other Christian churches, they don’t partake of the emblems unless they are of the heavenly calling. The witnesses believe the Satan is the ruler of this system and they don’t put confidence in these man made governments 2 *. This doesn’t mean they are excused from respecting the authorities or the rules. They have full respect. As long as the laws of that nation doesn’t go against their bible train conscience. God’s government is what they wait for to bring peace to man kind here on earth 3, 4. That brings me to my next subject. Who will go to heaven? Is there a hell? Where does the dead go when they die? Why do we die? Do we have a meaning in life? It very simple when you think about it. In the beginning God told Adam that if he disobeys, then it would lead to sin. Jehovah God Created mankind to live for ever in a paradise earth and to live forever under perfect conditions. But when Adam sinned he past the sinful inheritance to us 5. Hence we has imperfect humans die. That doesn’t mean we have the right to blame God for deaths or bad things that have been happening in the world. He longs to restore what Adam has lost 6. For those who died, we don’t believe in everlasting hell fire or to those who do good will have the prospect to live with Christ 7 *. Some however will become kings and priests, in God’s kingdom and they will rule with Christ 8*. Jehovah’s Witness keep a clean moral code witch tells them to keep away from fornication, consuming blood (blood transfusions *), keeping away from bad association, and such.
