"Under the Orange and Pink Sky"


Misty stood alone in the Ketchem's back yard. Misty was spending the summer at Ash's house, to take a short break from the poekmon league. Brock went back home to see his brothers and sisters. Misty could not go back home because her sisters were using the gym as for a beauty contest place for pokemon. Misty didn't really want to show it but she didn't mind staying at Ash's house, why, becuase she loved him.

She looked up at the sky, lightly clouded, the sun sinking deep into the hills leaving behind bright oranges and pinks. Misty sighed thinking to herself, she wanted to tell Ash how she felt, but it wouldn't come out when she thought the time was right. Misty thought if she did tell Ash that she loved him that he wouldn't feel the same. Misty sat down on a large rock near a tulip patch and a small garden fountain, she covered her face with her hands and started crying. The back door opened slightly and out walked Ash. He had on his same jeans and shirt, no vest or hat or pokeballs on his side. He also looked up into the sky then he noticed Misty.

Misty looked up quickly whipeing her eyes on her jacket's sleeve. She smiled slightly but painfully. She shook her head, "I'm sorry, I had something in my eye."

"Misty, you...you were crying?"Ash says lightly walking over to her. "are you alright?"

"I told you Ash, I had something in my eye!!I'm fine!"she snaps, she felt bad yelling at him at something so stupid. She shook her head, "I...I was crying Ash...its becuase..."

"Oh Misty!"Ash runs over to her and falls, Misty catching him in her arms. She starts crying again, tears landing on the ground. Ash looks up to her, he looks into her green eyes and his own crying. "Misty, I love you!I'm not sure why I didn't tell you before!Maybe becuase I thought you wouldn't feel the same back and would leave me."

"I-I love you to Ash. We went throught the same problem together. Oh Ash I love you! From the first day we met. I am sorry for yelling at you all those times."She confesses huging him.

"I thought when you were crying you might have thought to leave me. Misty, your part of the reason I'm still a pokemon trainer. You keep me going, never losing faith."Misty shook her head and hugged Ash closer, happy to final confess her love. Ash looked at Misty, and she returned the look, she closed her eyes as Ash's lips came closer to hers. They pressed together,and they kissed as the sun went further below the hills.
