dodges rotten tomatoes: :: Well, I think I can safely say this is where it
gets progressively weirder. Me likes weird ^_^
Warnings: Nuthin I think I need to warn you about ... uhm, witchy-things?
This fic does include yaoi and some profanity, though I'm not sure they
really apply to this part ... we'll see about the other parts =)

 *As-of-yet-Untitled (And-really-pissing-me-off)-Fic!*
 Part Two
 by Tenken

Fifteen minutes later, all five of the G-boys were in Quatre and
Trowa's dorm room. Quatre had retold his story for Wufei. Though he looked a
little skeptical, he didn't interrupt and listened to the boy intently.

"So you'll try it with us?" Quatre asked happily. Wufei shrugged. "Why
not. I grew up around a lot of superstitions. It doesn't bother me." Quatre
clasped his hands. "Iiyo!" The blond boy then picked up his bookbag and
placed it in the middle of the floor. Duo sat in front of the bag and watched
as Quatre zipped it open, pulling various items out. "What's this?" Duo
asked. Quatre handed the book to Duo, who inspected the cover before flipping
 the book open.

Just as he turned the first page, a loud crash caused the boys to
nearly jump out of their skin. Wind blew through the dorm room, accompanied
by a loud whistling sound. All eyes turned to find that one of the windows
had flown open, and the crash of the window hitting the outside wall was what
 had scared them.

Heero swiftly crossed the room and shut the window, a loud "clack"
resounding as he slid the lock in place.

There was silence. Five pairs of eyes looked at one another, no one
speaking a word. After a minute or two, Duo, still only wearing his T-shirt
and shorts, wrapped his arms around his legs and shivered.

"Baka. Go get something to where," Heero said. Duo opened his hands,
waiting for Heero to toss him the keys. Instead, Heero stepped past him and
left the room. Duo was shocked for a moment, then grinned as he scrambled up
and ran after the Wing pilot.

After the two had left the room, Quatre went back to pulling the items
out of his bookbag. Wufei walked over and picked up the book Duo had dropped,
but made a point of not opening the book. Trowa noticed. "You think it was
 the book?"

Wufei looked at the volume in his hands, then back at the Heavyarms
pilot. "Like I said ... I grew up around superstitions."

Quatre had finished laying his items on the floor. Wufei looked them
over. Sticks of incense, a small glass incense burner, two paper pamphlets,
and five different colored candles. Upon closer inspection, the pamphlets
were lists, one for candles and one for incense, that identified the meaning
of each color and scent. "So what are the candles for?" Wufei asked. At that
moment, Heero and Duo walked back into the room, this time with Duo sporting
an oversized fleece. "Ooh candles," he chimed, coming to stand next to Wufei.

Quatre scooped down and picked up the candles. "There's five here,
one for each of us. The ceremony requires that we all have a candle that
represents us. Since you guys weren't there, Trowa and I took the liberty of
 picking for you."

"I want the Shinigami candle!" Duo called, for some reason raising
his hand like a school boy. Quatre laughed. "Yes, the black one's yours Duo."
Duo looked pleased. Quatre handed Duo his candle, then fiddles through the
others in his hands. "The red one is Wufei's, the green ... Trowa. And Heero,
the blue one is yours." Quatre gave out the candles, then clutched
possessively to his own. "I get the purple one," he chuckled.

"Purple?" Wufei asked. Quatre shrugged. "Lillia suggested it. I
think it fits." "So what do we do with them?" Heero asked, peering strangely
at his blue candle. Quatre nodded vigorously. "Yes, let's get started, shall
 we?"

Soon after, Quatre had all five of them sitting in a circle on the
floor. The incense and burner were placed in the middle of the circle.
Everyone's candle stood unlit before them. Quatre, the book sitting in his
lap, carefully inspected the setup. "Okay, I think that's right. Is everyone
 ready?"

He was answered by a grunt, a "Hn", and a lopsided grin. "I'll take
that as a yes," Quatre responded. "So what, we do a little hocus-pocus and
weird shit happens?" Duo asked. Quatre scratched his head. "I suppose ... I'm
 not sure exactly."

"Let's find out," Trowa suggested. No one protested. Quatre nodded,
 then opened the book.

Everyone half expected something to happen, and looked around the
room suspiciously. When they were greeted with silence, Quatre sighed, and
began reading from the book. "Okay, first, let's take turns lighting our
 candles."

Trowa produced a lighter, which Quatre took, and used it to light
the incense stick in the center of the circle. Quatre handed the stick to
Trowa, clouds of smoke disappearing into the air as the sweet smell of
patchouli reached their senses. Trowa lit his candle, the same emerald shade
as his eyes, then passed the incense stick to Duo. Duo smiled broadly, the
tiny flame flickering as he lit the black candle. Heero took the stick next,
quickly lighting his candle before handing it off to Wufei. Wufei lit the red
candle, then passed it to Quatre, his eyes questioning. Quatre watched the
tiny flame for a moment, then slowly lowered it to the wick of his candle. He
blew out the flame of the incense, then placed it back in the holder. They
all watched intently as Quatre again picked up the book.

Quatre took a deep breath before opening the book. He opened to the
 first page, and ...

... utter silence. They all looked at one another. Nothing happened.
Quatre visibly relaxed. He looked down at the book again.

"All right ... we begin by taking hands like this," he said, placing
the book down in front of him. He held his hands out, which were slowly taken
by Trowa and Wufei. "Then I need to read this chant ..." Quatre swallowed
visibly before reading the words off the page.

"Katyi seihkur vehmen yvwe holis de ..."

The five boys looked to one another, then at the room around them.
"What's supposed to happen?" Duo asked, breaking the quiet.

"Shhh," Quatre whispered. "Everyone close your eyes and
concentrate." The others did as he said, and Quatre took one last look at the
book before closing his eyes as well.

"Katyi seihkur vehmen yvwe holis de ..."

The candles flickered, casting strange shadows across the room and
it's five occupants. Quatre's sweet voice continued in the heavy darkness.

"Nme rhetae raf soh nadde ..."

A strange current ran through the chain of hands, a chill running
down each of their spines. "Did you feel that?!" Duo asked, his voice
strained into a harsh whisper. No one answered him, but they were all
thinking the same thing. Quatre hesitated, then continued chanting.

"Coru thys satchey meino ethe ..."

The windows in the room were suddenly blown open, crashing loudly
into the outside walls. All five boys jumped, gasping, but the hold on each
other's hands held tight. The wind tore violently through the room, knocking
over various objects and sending papers flying past the Gundam pilots. They
could feel the furious winds cutting across their backs, but none let go of
the hands they held. Quatre turned pale, but something inside him compelled
him to continue. He closed his eyes tightly and began reciting the chant
 again.

The winds continued to pick up, the noise so loud that the boys
could barely hear Quatre's tiny voice. It went on this way, the winds
thunderous around them, until Quatre finished the very last verse.

           Then the world went dark.
