Autobots |
|||||
Brawn | Land Rover Defender | Demolitions |
"Might over
microchips." |
"The most macho" of the original Autobots and one of the strongest despite his small size; 2nd in physical strength only to Optimus Prime. Loves rugged and
hostile environments and is always up to test his mettle against a new challenge. |
|
Ultra Magnus | Freightliner COE (Cab Over Engine) | Autobot City Commander |
"Consistency is victory." |
A commander could want no finer a soldier than Ultra Magnus. Despite his incredible fighting skills, courage and unmatched talent for improvisation on the battlefield, Magnus is most comfortable when carrying out orders, and is naturally uncomfortable if the mantle of leadership should ever find itself placed upon him.
Magnus is Optimus' trusted friend. He aids the still-green Rodimus in leadership duties. And he's an inspiration to most of the Autobots.

Decepticons |
|||||
Ratbat |
Bat / Micro-Cassette |
Fuel Auditor |
"The road is my dinner plate." |
Before being a spy
and an info-gatherer for the 'Cons, Ratbat was one of the more
prominant Cybertronians with a stint in politics. He was
responsible for putting into motion plans of cleaning up fuel recycling
areas and power plants. Ratbat joins Megatron and sides with
Soundwave to make sure no energy is wasted inefficiently. |
|
Squawktalk | Eagle / Microcassette | Translator |
"If you have nothing interesting
to say, say it anyway." |
He can request a
cracker in over 6500 languages. He loves to hear bizarre languages and
dialects, as he finds it soothing and relaxing. To this end, he talks
constantly, even when he has nothing to say. |
|
Beastbox | Ape / Microcassette | Interrogator | "One being's noise is another's
music" |
Like the apes he
resembles, Beastbox is naturally curious, which should, in theory, make
him an excellent interrogator. Unfortunately, that curiosity is
subsumed by his impatience and violent rages. He rarely captures any
testimony save the screams and cries he gets as he pummels his
recalcitrant captives with his heavy metal fists. |
|
Hun-Gurrr | Terrorcon Two-headed Dragon |
Terrorcons Leader (Sixshot fan club's runner) |
“Eat only what you need -destroy the rest.” | Quite the model
Decepticon and military strategist if he could just stop stuffing his
two mouths. Hun-Gurrr is a terrible glutton, constantly filling his
stomach with as much energy and materials as he can find. He only ever
stops his insatiable feeding frenzies to fulfill his other desire:
wanton destruction. Oh; and he also cooks some nice equivalent of
Earthlings' snacks for the Sixshot fan club. |
|
Sinnertwin | Terrorcon Orthus |
Security Officer (Sixshot fan club's treasurer) |
“The sound of ripping metal is music to my audio modules.” |
Like his fellow
Terrorcons, he's a horrific insult to nature itself. Sinnertwin
frequently patrols the Terrorcons' lair with the hope of finding
anything unfortunate enough to be alive in his presence. Then comes the
killing, and what with his multiple heads and sadistic nature, this is
not something one would like to witness. Ironically, he's terrified of
small creatures. |
|
Cutthroat | Terrorcon Pteranodon |
Shock Trooper (Sixshot fan club's cheerleader) |
“Compassion is the currency of
losers.” |
While most
Decepticons enjoy trashing Autobots, she revels in it. She'll
tear a 'bot to pieces with her bare claws in her bloodthirsty zeal,
showing not one iota of mercy. Her fighting style is so barbaric that
it even disturbs other Decepticons. It seems that the only 'con who can keep her under control is
her fellow Terrorcon Rippersnapper. Unfortunately, he's just as
explosive as her. During her spare time; she likes watching
movies where "beings would cut each other up for entertainment." |
|
Rippersnapper | Terrorcon Bipedal Landshark |
Insurgency Expert (Sixshot's fan, Cutthroat's boyfriend) |
"Autobots are an error I intend
to correct.” |
Hates carbon-based
lifeforms. PERIOD. He likes the Autobots even less. At the ground-level transport station in Iocon before the Cybertronian civil war... That night after the Decepticon soldier's graduation party... "Rip" proclaims his disgust for the Autobots and their need for peace... Only to then proclaim his love for "Cutter" and his wish for her to be with him eternally... And Cutter would accept his wish since he's the only one who truly understands her. |
|
Blot | Terrorcon Mole
Monster |
Ground Trooper (Sixshot's self-proclaimed "7th biggest fan") |
“I’m not as bad as I look – I’m
worse.” |
THE MOST vile and
disgusting Transformer ever assembled. He oozes fluids of questionable
nature from various joints on his frame, and has a rank odor that
usually keeps foes and allies far away from him. Naturally, all this
scorn and insult has given the less-than-smart Blot quite the
inferiority complex. Stuck with a hygiene problem he can't control and
a central processor a few bytes too small, Blot is both unable to solve
the problems of his own stench and talk back to the insulting comments
from his peers. |
|
Lord Zarak & Fasttrack | Scorpion / City | Supreme leader of the Hive,
Nebulos |
"Kindness is no virtue ... and
cruelty is no vice." |
When Zarak
passes by, all that will be left by the time he is gone are destruction
and misery - no class of citizen is safe from his venomous wrath, as he
takes pleasure in inflicting suffering upon any and all that he can. |
Energon |
|||
Autobots |
|||
Wheeljack |
Lancia Stratos Turbo | He's his own worst enemy. Something
of a crackpot inventor, a good half of Wheeljack's creations blow up in
his face, and that's just if he's lucky. He's simultaneously one of the
Autobots' greatest assets and problems; for every successful gadget he
builds, there's one which requires Ratchet, Hoist, and his brother
Downshift to put him (and his lab) back together. But once in a while
he strikes gold, which has won him respect from even the Decepticons. |
|
Perceptor: Grindor, High Wire,
and Sureshock |
Skateboard, Bicycle, and
Motorscooter respectively. |
The "Size Matters" people might
have a hard time accepting Perceptor. But with Starscream's
increasingly successful PR campaign within the "Third World Countries,"
the Autobots need all the help they can get. Grindor, High Wire, and Sureshock had been brough to life by a three-part fragmentation of a recent Allspark explosion from a spaceship piloted by Scourge. 3 human friends, who didn't realized what was going on, were caught in the middle of Scourge's hunt to complete the Allspark. And it was Perceptor who came to the human's rescue. If that wasn't a good way to counter Starscream's PR machine, I don't know what is. |
|
Decepticons |
|||
Unicron | Planet | "Even in outer space, the darkness becomes a part of you." | When the Quintessons were forced off of Cybertron millions of years ago; some of them decided to create a transforming planet. And just like any other project; that would critically fail them as well. Said planet had been possessed by the spark of Unicron, Primus' eternal rival. Unicron literally ate his most of his creators before making an intergalactic bee-line towards Cybertron. Robot-inhabited planets like Lithone and Gobotron didn't stand a chance; their survivers are few and rare.
Unicron would find a dying Megatron (deciding to sacrifice himself after sharing a killing blow with Optimus Prime) and reform him into Galvatron. His goal is to make sure the Autobot Matrix of Leadership will not be used on him until his revenge is complete. It would be Unicron's undoing as Galvatron would try to use the Matrix against him and, when all else failed, gave it to a passing-by Hot Rod. The Matrix would destroy Unicron; leaving his head to orbit Cybertron in place of the two Autobot Moonbases he ate. But not without a backup plan. He created two versions of himself; one looking like Scourge's Sweep henchmen, and another looking like Cyclonus. (His "Armada," perhaps?) His plan to have revenge on Primus' children continues... |
Titanium |
||||
Rodimus Prime | Cybertronian RV | Autobot Leader |
"Experience is the benchmark of
maturity." |
The "Chosen One" who gained the Autobot Matrix of Leadership;
defeating Galvatron and destroying Unicron in the process.
Rodimus is essentially still "Sideswipe;" alias "Hot Rod." He bears the heavy burden
of leadership; constantly second-guessing himself and feeling that he's
under the shadow of Optimus Prime. But he's still dedicated himself to
the preservation of life in its myriad forms.
One of the more wisecracking Autobot leaders out there, without a doubt. |
Scourge | Cybertronian Space Hovercraft | Decepticon Tracker Sweeps Leader |
"Desolation follows in my trail." | Despite his expertise as a tracker; Scourge is the ultimate
Decepticon bootlicker. He's always complimenting Megatron and
talking down to his peers whenever they mess up. And he's got
this jealousy program going for Starscream; him being second-in-command
and all. But in reality; it's Scourge who's the mess-up and a
bane to the very cause he's fighting so hard for.
After the destruction of Unicron; the Decepticons and the Autobots had
set up a cease-fire (ordered by Krou Mataphore, the Animal Planet's
dovish queen whose alt-mode is a giant squid). Disgusted by this,
Scourge would search for a way to gain enough power to defeat Galvatron
and rule the universe... |
Cybertron |
|||
Autobots |
|||
Breakaway | Chrysler modified ME Four-Twelve concept car | "Run hot, but always keep your cool." | Breakaway is a master escape artist. No prison in the universe can hold him for more than two hours. He has a collection of storage areas on his person, filled with all types of gadgets... Changing the subject: Breakaway leaves the new found friends he made over at the planet Nebula to help the Autobots fight against the Decepticons and regain Cybertron. |
Springer | Aerospatiale SA 365 Dauphin N2 Helicopter | "Strength is more than physical." | Ever the archetypical action hero: great in a fight, unselfconsciously brave, confident, and always ready with a dead-pan sarcastic quip to lighten the moment. The Han Solo to Hot Rod's Luke Skywalker; with Arcee by his side and a blaster shooting at Decepticons at the other.
After the end of the Cybertronian Civil War (thanks in part to Unicron entering the scene), Springer would form the Wreckers in an attempt to track down and destroy the rebelling Decepticons led by the newly-powered Cryo-Scourge. |
Decepticons |
|||
Ransack |
Cybertronian Speedbike |
"I can overtake everyone!" |
Although he prefers to transform into a locust, he like being a speedbike even better because it adds to his nimbleness and agility. He's quick-witted, a fast talker, and has a double-barrelled cannon powerful enough to knock down a Dinobot. After the Cybertronian war ended with the destruction of Unicron, he joins Scourge in his search for more power... |
Hardtop |
Sector Seven Dune buggy | "Hold still, ya walkin' target!" |
Hardtop is a spy, tracker and ground-based spotter for the
Decepticon air forces. Even though he's usually seen with
Brawl. He's also an expert sniper; his record rivaling that of
Mirage's. In fact, he's the reason why Bumblebee couldn't speak
when he met Sam Witwicky. A precise shot from his rifle had
destroyed his voicebox. |
Stormsurge | Sector Seven Hovercraft | "Surf's Up, 'Bots! Surf's Up!" | If robots were to have "family relatives," then Stormsurge would be Scourge's little brother. Scourge is annoyed by the fact that he has this "mini-him" that's more popular than him; doing whatever it takes to keep him under his shadow. Stormsurge ends up joining the Combaticons, replacing the much-too-elite Blast-Off, and had been their most valued member ever since. He sees Onslaught as his idol and "big sister he never had."
Heading into the battlefield at 350 MPH, covered by Brawl's barrages of course; he flings corrosive salt rounds, napalm grenades, and depth charges so Incinerator can pick off the 'Bots who dropped and rolled to get rid of the biting jells and acid. He's also one of the fastest supply runners and messengers (only to be beatened out by the Autobot's Blurr) amongst the Decepticon ranks. |
Jolt |
Bugatti Veyron | "Live fast, ride hard, and leave a great looking chassis!" |
Jolt is basically the living testament of being a true
Decepticon; having his rear fenders kicked around more than any other
'con but still willing to go out and fight the Autobots as if THEY'RE
the bad guys. There were times when Megatron, Starscream,
Shockblast, Cyclonus, and even Optimus himself can agree on one thing
about Jolt: Their wish is to have more of his type in the
Decepticon ranks and not just a bunch of thugs with program
malfunctions. The shoulder-hold missile launchers (deployed when Jolt uses the Cyberplanet Key), the blasters, and his incredible speed are awesome as well... |
Crankcase | Dodge Magnum emergency vehicle | "Things are never as good as they seem." | Before the Cybertronian Civil War, he was a janitor at the Ministry of Energy and Nutrition. He had been bullied during this time; which had given him a large chip on his shoulder. Crankcase wasted no time in "de-establishing the establishment HIS way." And his first order of business was to turn the M.E.N. into a "Superfund Site," a literal chemical dump, to this day. He complains constantly; his moments of happiness coming from when he defeats and destroys some Autobots.
Crankcase is a data collector who's able to store about 400 trillion trillion bits of information (give or take a trillion). He's armed with two high-impact laser blasters and a ruster cannon on his left arm. He's heavily armored enough to take basts of ten megaton yields or less. |
Scrapper |
Scoop Loader |
"My work is a monument to -- and
of -- my enemies" |
The master designer who
conceives the myriad structures the Decepticons assemble. During
his time with the Constructicons; his designs include a generator that
would increase Megatron's power, Blitzwing's throne made out of the
fallen Autobots, and the monsterous dinosaur Trypticon. (IN ONE
DAY! WHILE THE CITIZNES WERE MINDING THEIR OWN BUSINESS!!!)
And yet, he's still a bit modest about it as he brushes all the
compliments aside with friendly gestures... Like Jolt, Scrapper can use the "Cyberplanet Key." Blades can be deployed from his back wheels when inserted into the slots of his tires. |
Jetstorm |
Antonov An-225 Cossack |
"I'm here to bring the
rain. Want some?" |
Jetstorm believes that if he has
to get in a fight, he might as well fight dirty. He's spent ages
perfecting his fighting style, studying all the cheapest places to
blast or stab another robot. Most Autobots would rather go up
against anyone else; for various reasons. Jetstorm's arsenal bosts two 20 mm Gatling guns, a 105 mm howitzer, two missile launchers, and a twin-barrel laser cannon that's unlocked when using the "Cyberplanet Key." When Jetstorm fights, he fights to win at all costs, so he does everything he can to hurt his opponent as bad as possible. And even when he DOES lose, it's very rare that his enemies don't go away with shattered optics or limbs damaged beyond repair. |
Classics |
|||
Autobots |
|||
Bumblebee |
"The least likely
can be the most dangerous." |
The "li'l brother" of the
Autobots; Bumblebee continues to strive towards being the best Autobot
he can. He manages to win the respect of the bigger and stronger
'bots that he admires. He also manages to win the friendship of
the Witwicky family; primarily Spike in the 80's cartoon and Sam in the
2007 movie. So yeah. Don't let that cute little putt-putt deceive
you. And don't believe that you can steal this classic
Camaro. This bee STINGS. |
|
Mirage |
Ligier JS11 F-1 Racing Car | "...You think you can make me a
big house with a 4-car garage?" |
While most Autobot warriors are
either itching for a fight with Decepticons or making sure their fellow
humans don't get harmed; Mirage would rather play the Cybertronian
equivalent of golf and go to the Cybertronian equivalent of fancy
dinner parties. A snob who'd probably own a big mansion if he's
human; he gets no love from his fellow Autobots due to his
unwillingness to fight. And yet he DOES fight; being one of the most skilled hand-to-hand combatants and sharpshooters out there. Plus he's a perfect spy. He uses the "Mirage Celloid" to disappear for a short enough while so he can do an incredible amount of damage to the Decepticons. |
Sunstreaker |
Lamborghini Gallardo | "They can't beat the best." | In simple terms; if you were to combine "narcissism" and "Lamborghini," you'd get Sunstreaker. His large ego makes it difficult for other Autobots to work for him; except for Sideswipe -> Hot Rod. And he constantly states that he's the most beautiful thing ever created.
His dedication to the Autobot cause is also iffy at best. ...that is... ...until he gets his paint job ruined. By then, not only is he dedicated to the Autobot cause; he might as well become a Decepticon. His tanacity and stubbornness on the battlefield is somewhere between frightening and legendary. |
Hound |
Jeep Wrangler Military Custom | "Observe everything, remember even more." | One of the first Autobots to be stranded on Earth with the Decepticons, Hound LOVES this change of scenery. And while he's not using his sensors to hunt down most of the sneakiest Decepticons, he's out exploring and enjoying the fresh Earthian air. He's one of the more dedicated Autobots (behind Optimus Prime) when it comes to protecting the Earth.
He's an expert in the use of holograms; using his trickery to fool even his own comrades. At one time he nearly fooled Megatron into thinking that there was a real power plant. He works alongside Mirage and Bumblebee, and he's good friends with Cliffjumper and Silverstreak. |
Ironhide |
SUV | "High tech circuitry is no replacement for guts." | One of the first so-called "consumer goods" to fight against the Quintessans before the Cybertronian "Golden Era," Ironhide is one of the oldest and toughest Autobots to date. And a lot about him is "outdated;" his body, his programming, his weaponry. Not that it's a bad thing, though. Definitely not a bad thing when it comes to beating up the Decepticons. Ironhide's been SO "around" that he'll tell you stories about the stories about how he'd gotten whatever scar he picked up. And he plans on living longer despite gaining more scars. |
Smokescreen |
Nissan 350Z Race Car | "A look can be deceiving; a touch can be lethal." | Liar. Cheater. Compulsive gambler. An epitone of "a bad guy in a collection of good guys." A Robin Hood? A vigilante? Nobody would know. And there's a high doubt that a straight answers would be gained from Smokescreen. But he's right there; next to Optimus Prime. Billowing the air with disruptive particals to fling at the Decepticons, charming his way in and out of situations, racing with his fellow Autobots to do some damage against the 'Con's cause. His shoulder-mounted missile launchers and gun can also disrupt the 'Con's circuitry long enough to get blasted by either enemy or friendly fire. |
Cheetor |
Cheetah | "You can't beat the best." | If it weren't for Blurr, Cheetor would be THE fastest Autobot out there. (But the truth is that he was part of a large number of refugees who swore off war and fled to another planet. Since then, they knew their mistake and decided to help fight against the likes of Unicron.) Cheetor hails from an Autobot subgroup known as the Maximals.
Cheetor's basically an overload of healthy youthfulness and cockiness; much like any Autobot with the word "Hot" in front of their names. He's the type who'd usually go headfirst into trouble; as well as being lucky enough to get out of it quickly. He's also participating in hand-to-hand combat classes and, despite his overabundant eagerness, he's doing well. Ultimately, and despite the truth about the cease-fire after Unicron's attack, he seems to get along with nearly everybody. Especially Blurr and Wreck-Gar. |
Ceraptor |
Velociraptor | "Honor does not need to be won, but it must never be lost." | Honor. Dignity. Fairness. Ceraptor couldn't find any of that within the Decepticon cause as the Cybertron Civil War dragged on. And it was a good thing when he joined the rest of the Cybertornians as they fled for better places to coexist. They found a planet that's at its maturing stage; filled with life and fresh energy to siphen. And they took the forms of the animals as they quickly set up an organization of rulers and warlords. Ceraptor would be a sub-warlord for the "Reptilian Area."
The peace of the CCW refugees wouldn't last very long as an alien race, known as the Quintessans, brainwashed their leadership and forced most of their planet into slavery. And it would've dragged on longer if it werent for the intervention of Hot Rod, Kup, Breakaway, and the Dinobots. Ceraptor, a knight and a supurb fencer, swore a binding friendship with the saviors of their planet. |
Silverbolt | XB-70 Valkyrie | "Don’t look down, look straight ahead!" | The Decepticons thought that they have the road when they introduced the Stunticons. They didn't realize that the level of outclassing they would get from Silverbolt. Originally a "low-flying transporter," Silverbolt is known for his severe fear of hights despite being an actually great leader (secondary to Rodimus Prime). The other Aerialbots consider him a stick-in-the-thick-used-oil. Then again; any bot that can give their enemies on the ground a hard time is a friend of theirs.
Silverbolt is the leader of the Aerialbots (which also include Powerglide, Jetfire, and Blades). He can reach speed of Mach 1.9 with range of 4500 miles. And he is armed with an electrostatic discharger rifle. |
Jetfire | Modified F-14 Tomcat | "Among mysteries of science lies the key to victory." | Jetfire, nicknamed "Skyfire" by his friends, is a robot of science. Literally. Everything about him is up-to-date and cutting-edge. He's one of the fiew associates Starscream had before the war started. And even though he's the one that saw Starscream's evil first hand, "Screamer" never fails to try to convince "Fire" to side with Decepticons; which always receives the compassionate Autobot's verbal refusal.
Jetfire can reach speeds of Mach 4.2. But, with twin supersonic combustion ramjets added to him, he can pull off going Mach 29 and escape Earth gravitational pull. (Constant refueling is required consequently.) He carries 4 large particle beam cannons, 2 twin-barrelled vulcans, and two missile launchers. (Embarrassing secret: He's Overcast's big brothre.) |
Decepticons |
|||
Galvatron | Israel Weapons Industries Merkava Mk3 Battle Tank | "My power is everything; defeat is absurd!" | What separated Megatron from any other Decepticon warlord is that he's highly educated in the schoolings of psychology, philosophy, and chemical engineering. One of the young Cybertronians (the final Military Hardware line) who utilize the transformation process and help dispell the Quintessons from off of their home planet, Megatron saw that the only way to "govern anything nowadays" is by force. Optimus Prime would be against Megatron's views from the start. Some odd millions of years, one badly damaged home planet, and a transfer of the war to another planet laer; Megatron would share a final blow with Optimus. And, out of his own request, would be flung off of an escaping shuttle and into the deep freezing darkness of space.
Unicron finds his dying body and forces him to become his pawn. He repairs him with the spare parts from the other dead Decepticons and turns him into Galvatron. Yet despite his second wind and newfound power; Galvatron realizes that he's no match for Unicron's sheer might. He does what the gigantic planet orders until he's able to get the "Autobot Leadership Matrix" and uses it against him. Unicron knew what he's up to and decided to destroy Cybertron; a goal he would've managed to perform until Galvatron had given the Matrix to Hot Rod. And the story was pretty much history. Galvatron would then utilize the peace agreement he and his followers formed with Rodimus Prime and the Autobots to his advantage; putting warlords and criminals under his control so that he can deal a destructive blow to the Autobots' weak spot. Yet he'll have a difficult time doing it since Scourge had found the power he needed to dethrone him; calling himself "Cryo-Scourge" and leading his own cadre of Decepticons as well as a sect of Quintessons. Not to be played cheap; Galvatron is still a force to be reckonned with. His particle accelerator cannon is powerful enough to destroy a small planet. He still retains Megatron's tactical and methodical mind needed to keep his enemies close enough to blast them. And he shows a suprising degree of BENEVOLENCE; something rare in a supposed "Decepticon Leadership." Not that he won't blast you and rule out of intimidation, mind you. It's just that he's taking everything he learned from (the failures of) past leaders and putting them to his advantage. "Something (Scourge) will NEVER understand." |
Starscream |
F-15 Eagle | "Conquest is made of the ashes of one's enemies." |
It's no secret that Starscream wants to dethrone Megatron. And if you politely ask Megs why he keeps him around, "Because he's too effective a weapon to be without." Relying on guile and speed, as oppose to Megatron's brutal military tactics, Starscream leads his air forces toward the Autobots with an assured promise destructive rain for them. Now if only the Autobots weren't so persistent... Before the war, Starscream had served as a scientist and an explorer. The friends he had include Jetfire, Red Alert, Dropkick, and Octane. |
Skywarp |
F-15 Eagle | "Strike when the enemy isn't
looking." |
While Skywarp is not all that crazy about the ongoing Civil War between the Autobots and the Decepticons; it gives him a chance to do something exciting and learn new things. Skywarp utilizes the "Mirage Celloid," making him literally invisible for a very short period of time. That technology would later be used during the Earthling's Earth-Space civil war known as the "Bloody Valentine War." |
Ramjet |
Modified F-15 Eagle | "If it flies, crash it." |
One of Starscream's more insane
aerial warriors, Ramjet proves his namesake by ramming headfirst into
his airborne enemies. And of course it does damage to him
whenever he plays that game of "chicken." However, he's actually
one of the more sane and cynical warriors in the Decepticon ranks. He's the comedic foil to Dirge's depression and Skywarp's brooding; usually asking his fellow Decepts why they're here in the first place of they're just going to whine about their existence. |
Acidstorm |
Camouflaged F-15 Eagle | "Huh?! No way!!" |
Acidstorm hails from a long line of medics; her expertice from the same school that produced Ratchet. Being a full-fledged warrior wasn't her first choice when the Cybertronian Civil War started. But she wanted to use her skills to help and protect the Cybertronians around her. (Unfortunately, she's a Decepticon. But you have to understand that she comes from an area that's heavily Decepticon.) She's smart, dedicated to the cause, skilled at data-gathering, and is a great speaker. But she enjoys her "under the radar" status as one of the few members in the "Rainmaker" squad. Shockwave had sent this squad to stall the Autobots from getting much-needed medical supplies. Then they've been transfered to Earth to give the Autobots even more trouble. |
Cyclonus |
Cybertronion Starfighter | "Compassion is the Autobots' downfall." | Whatever sense of honor and nobility Megatron had left, Cyclonus must have sucked out of him. Sleek and awesome, this mighty Decepticon warrior is an epitone of "victory via giving your enemy a chance to fight atleast." He's not for the constant and underhanded tricks that a lot of Decepts had been famous for nowadays.
And yet... Cyclonus has the nuclear-powered engine and enough firepower to put the rebellious Starscream in his place. But he chose, instead, to join him during the Cybertronian wars since he believes that Starscream is doing the right thing in fighting for the preservation of their home planet. There's not too many who Cyclonus is against. Unless you count the Nebulan Targetmaster Nightstick who's a criminal and a pathological law-breaker. |
Dirge | Modified F-15 | "Fear is the element that unites all losers." | One of the Decepticons given life after the successful rebellion against the Quintessons. He had a happy existence along with his friends until the Cybertronian Civil War started. After losing a lof of his friends; he ended up being consumed by his own gloom and nearly became an Empty. Starscream had managed to talk him out of his emo. He's now part of the Seeker forces, led by Starscream.
Dirge comes off as a Goth who plays his creepiness and mourn as a comedic foil more than anything worthwhile. He still gives his fellow Seekers, especially Ramjet, the creeps. An effective, if "add-on," warrior against the Autobots; his thrusters are audially tuned to simulate loud explosions which can either destroy stereo systems or used as shields for missile fire. |
Ravage |
Jaguar / Microcassette | "Today's Autobots are tomorrow's scrap metal." | Ravage, one of Soundwave's microcassette spies, is one of the most loyal and most dangerous Decepticons to work under Megatron. Yet he's more of a pet than an actual soldier. He'll lie in wait, and then strike at his prey when the time is right. His only weakness is bright light, which blinds him. His work during the graveyard shift, and Cybertron's difficulty when it comes to lighting, had done that to him, unfortunately. |
Fracture | Ligier JS11 F-1 Racing Car | "The first one to cross the finish line lives." | Fracture hails from the planet Gobotron (which was also having a civil war between the heroic Guardians and the evil Renegades). Until Unicron attacked their planet, ate it, and rendered the Gobot population a near-extincted breed. When the Cybertronians defeated Unicron, she told of her story and extended her thanks. But she joins the Decepticon because "she's a bad girl."
Despite being totally insane, completely out of her mind, and a dictionary definition of "road rage;" she's an expert markswoman who's just as good as the Autobot Mirage. She can also discharge destructive blasts of energy by merely stomping on the ground. She loves nothing more than to race her fellow Decepticons (usually the Stunticons) and nearly challenged Megatron into a one-on-one duel. She's THAT nuts. |
Barricade | Nissan 350Z Police Car | "Power in the hands of a few... ...meaning, me." | No games of "Good Cop, Bad Cop" here. While Autobot Prowl is considered a prick, Barricade is THE prick; one of the main reasons why the Cybertronian "factory-borns" created their version of "F### The Police." He's no slouch, however. He graduated from the same academy that produced Prowl, only to join the Decepticons when the war started. He considers "being a good guy" too boring and would rather have fun stabbing the backs of those who he can gain trust from.
When not on scouting missions, Barricade joins the growing number of Decepticon vehicles in an attempt to gain some ground during "high speed land battles." |
Swipedown (Thrust's Little Brother) | Lamborghini Gallardo | "I'm just too busy looking good." | Swipedown's incredibly vain; he likes to gain the attention of others through his good looks. He's (technically) the younger brother of Thrust (whom he also thinks is a loudmouth braggart).
Swipedown is part of the Stunticons; Motormaster (the leader), Jolt, Crankcase, Fracture, Stockade, Dropkick, and Dead End. Like his teammates, he's been given the ability to survive crashes. Yet Swipedown would rather use his engine vibrations to cause other mechanical devices to malfunction. He carries a compressed air cannon that causes wind gusts powerful enough to lift a robot off the ground. |
Astrotrain | NASA Space Shuttle / Shinkansen Bullet Train | "In confusion, there is
opportunity." |
Astrotrain is considered
probably one of the only Decepticons out there who can instill fear in
the Earthlings whilst being a bullet train or a space shuttle.
Plus he has enough firepower to take down 5 Autobots. He's part
of Starscream's air force; responsible for carrying extra ammo and
equipment and such. |
Octane |
Lockheed C-130 Hercules / Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT) M978 Fueler | "He who has fuel, has power." | In times of war when having an advantage is the line that separates life and death; Octane can always be counted on for having some amount of fuel on him while everyone else is running low. A lying, cheating, scoundrel who gets his kicks from bullying other people around; yet he's a craven coward when someone more powerful (be it Megatron, Starscream, et cetera) puts him in his place.
Special gadgets are attached to his fuel holes that enable him to syphen oil and gas out of nearby vehicles. He KNOWS how to utilize his melee weapon and is an expert shooter with his two double-barrelled guys. He's not as fast, but he's tough. Before the war; he was part of the "Scientific Group" (w/ Starscream, Jetfire, and Ratbat) responsible for finding planets with fuel to use. |
Motormaster | Freightliner COE Class 8 Tractor & Trailor | "A warrior finds honor only in the total destruction of his enemies." | Motormaster was originally known as "Nemesis Prime," a grand scheme concocted by Straxus (the vicious lord of pro-Decepticon Polyhex) to turn a lowly warrior into a psychological weapon to use against the Autobots. Straxus, destroyed by the Autobot Blaster, was not able to unleash this highly unstable warrior. But he had been salvaged by Megatron and given a chance to unleash his new-found fury upon the Autobots as Motormaster; leader of the Stunticons.
It's unknown whether he got it from Straxus' brutal torturing, the constant begging from the Empties that dwelled the Polyhex slums, or if he was like that to begin with. But Motormaster is just as brutal, tyranical, and sadistic as Straxus himself; his personality that can only be stifled by Megatron and his inner-circle. He longs to "take the 'King of the Road' title away from Optimus Prime" via a destructively suicidal game of Chicken. But he is content with beating Ultra Magnus in said game of Chicken (before being overwhelmed by the female Autobot motorcycle Flamewar). |
Stormcloud |
A-10 Thunderbolt II | "The air is my playground." | Whether it's out of jealousy or not, Stormcloud WANTS Starscream's position as Megatron's "Number Two." He's got the size and the "noisemakers" for it. The problem is that he lacks the brains, talent, or self-control to pull anything off.
Along with his 500 - 3200 mph air spead, small concussion bombs, and machine gun / thermal beamgun; Stormcloud is a proven expert in electronics warfare. His onboard communication package is second-to-none; he can either read radio transmissions from around the world or give his enemies a largely unwelcome load of static. |
Onslaught | SWAT Vehicle | "The mind is the greatest weapon." |
Onslaught prefers formulating strategies and tactics to defeat her opponents; rather than going out onto the battlefield and using sheer brute force. However; when her plans fail, she can become a devastating force in battle. So might is her prowess during the final arcs of her thwated battle plan that she's been nicknamed "The Juggernaut of MONZO 127-82" (the coordinates of the area where the battle took place). She hadn't always been like this, though. Before the Cybertronican Civil War; she was a servant in a royal household once held by Cyclonus and Scourge. She would look out for, and became a sister figure to, the Decepticon who was suppose to take over as head of the household. Said Decepticon would later become "Stormsurge;" luckily working under Onslaught as part of the Combaticons. She's constantly at odds with Megatron's ideas and would much rather follow Starscream since he atleast carries a sense of style and an ear for her planning. |

Autobots |
|||
Rollbar | Red Bull delivery truck | "When the going gets tough, the tough get driving." | Rollbar's happiest when he's following orders as oppose to giving them out. He hates improvising despite being a naturally born leader. And despite his small size and even greater odds, he's as brave and sturdy as they come. (I guess that RedBull liquid DOES give you wings. Waitaminute...) |
Dune Runner | Sector Seven Dune Buggy | "I'm made for the toughtest terrain you got!" | DR was just so happy to find, in existence, a planet that isn't 75% "smooth and paved" like Cybertron. Not that he hates Cybertron. It's just that "Earth has all this rugged terrain! Mountains, desert, pot holes...! This is the best planet I've ever been on!" He carries two long-range machine guns in both robot and vehicle mode. And he's a recent recruit to Springer's Wreckers. |
Cliffjumper |
2009 Chevrolet Camaro | "Strike first, strike fast, strike hard." |
Cliffjumper is a polar opposite of his fellow 'bot
Bumblebee. He's one of those "shoot first, ask later"
types. He'll pull a bazooka from out of nowhere and start
blasting during those supposed "spy" operations. He'll leave a
third season of a series whilst calling foul on the treatment of Arabs
in cartoons. And he'll talk badly about how he's suppose to play
a happy song after telling folks that a dog had died. Yeah. |
Longarm |
Ford F-350 Tow Truck | "Need a helping hand?" |
An Autobot who functions as a repairman for the team, keeping them to a tight maintenance schedule. Longarm is confident and sometimes rash, brave, tough and loyal. |
Jazz |
Modified Pontiac Solstice GXP | "Do it with style or don't bother doing it." |
If there were
such things as "urban African-Americans" in Cybertron, Jazz would be it.
No. Jazz is one of the cooler heads to work under Optimus Prime,
if not the coolest. He finds the idea of "having a good time" and
"finding trends cool" such a fresh alternative to the constant
bleakness caused by millions of years in a civil war. Jazz manages to blend in with the surroundings superbly. Although he'll have a hard time explaining the words "b####" (and heaven forbid, n#####) to his fellow 'bots. |
Landmine | Sector Seven Assault Buggy | "My fists are deadlier than your guns." | Landmine is Cybertron's aging security chief. "No. I'm a hole in the ground. And I'm Cybertron's chief reason these kids have no legs." Okay... While not working as a security chief, he's a mentor for the more rebellious 'bots like Hot Rod. He has a wealth of experience and is prone to going into "story mode" at any random time. |
Hubcap & Tailgate | Chevrolet Concepts Beat & Trax respectively | T: "We're here to remember some 'Cons!" H: "Dismember, you busted radiator!" | And that's how the fight usually starts between those twins. Not since Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, Silverstreak and Prowl, on down have you set your onboard optics on two very different yet very alike models of Autobot warriors in training. They couldn't even stay together too long as an icecream truck.
Hubcap, the green Chevy Beat, is, supposedly, the smart one. Supposedly. (Id est, he doesn't shut up.) Tailgate, the red Chevy Trax, is more headstrong and wants nothing more than to stand amongst a pile of smoking ashes and rubble that used to be Decepticons. Both of them are considered a combined headache for those under their care; namely Bumblebee, Ironhide, and even Optimus. But even then; they'd still make fine warriors once some experience and guilt had been installed within them. |
Voltec | Chevrolet Volt | "Decepticons are a waste of energy I intend to correct." | Not to be confused with the Decepticon Jolt, Voltec wants nothing more than to short-circuit his foes; making sure that they'd never harm another planet's eco-system ever again.
"You see... There was this thing that happened after the Cybertronian Civil War started..." Something about Crankcase coming back to a place where he used to be a janitor at; turning it into some toxic waste dump... Voltec doesn't want to revive that part of his memory. He just wants to wipe Crankcase clean off the face of the universe. (A task that became harder since his foe is now a seemingly indestructible Stunticon...) |
Trailbreaker |
Modified GMC Topkick C6500 |
"I'm not built for speed, but
I'm tough." |
Trailbreaker's a light-hearted
joker; often acting a morale booster for his comrades. Deep down,
however, he considers himself a liability due to his high fuel
consumption. Because of this he has low self-esteen. Despite this, the
other Autobots know he is a valuable addition to their ranks. His weaponry consist of a 4-barrel laser cannon on his right arm and a 4-barrelled missile launcher on his left; combining the two to form an even powerful cannon. He also uses a (highly reliable but time-limited) force field. |
Ratchet |
Hummer H2 Fire Search and Rescue SUV | "You break it, I'll remake it." |
Another aging veteran; Ratchet is the chief medic of the
Autobots. An eternally cranky spark (probably because of the
seemingly eternal civil war), his dedication to the job of being the
main repairman borderlines being frightening to his fellow 'bots.
There were times when he had to strap them onto the operation table so
he can do his job properly. Even to Optimus Prime.
Ratchet's colleagues would rather die in a fight than be repaired by
him. He's THAT good. |
Decepticons |
|||
Dirtboss | forklift | "You Talkin' To Me?" | Short in stature and temper; Dirtboss would be the default leader of the Constructicons. He's one of the original Cybertronians who forced the Quintessons off of their planet. He then took part constructing a lot of the buildings during the "Golden Era." But he would end up joining the Decepticon cause and being responsible for the destruction of what he helped build. This doesn't sadden him, however, as "slacking off" is what he hates the most. And even after a millenia of war between Autobots and Decepticons, the building he helped made still stand to this day; scarred from war yet refusing to become rubble and debris. |
Dustcracker | biplane | "The sight of ruin only makes me crave more." | Dustcracker is one of the original Cybertronians to fight against the Quintessons. He's also one of the first Decepticons to fly. During his time, he was one of the best flyers around. But by now he's just a collecton of junk and stories. Dustcracker would still prove his worth as a training sergeant for new recruits. And, much to Thundercracker's chargin, he's his "great grandfather." |
Scalpel | Microscope | "Next Patient Plea~ze!" | He serves as a medic to the Decepticons; so he's known as the "Doctor." He's not exactly tough or anything; but he's just as nutty. Scalpel has a massive database of anatomical data for millions of creatures across the universe. He can disassemble anything that doesn’t struggle too much in a matter of minutes, and usually puts it back together (with only a few parts in the wrong places, but hey). |
Dropkick |
Chevrolet Silverado | "Dat waz some tough talk dere. B'fore ya got blasted,
o' course." |
Nobody likes being anybody's mere "gopher." That's
more-so true within the Decepticon ranks. However; Dropkick would
readily work under Starscream because atleast he'll be a heavily-armed
and combat-ready "gopher." Dropkick is Starscream's old friend during the pre-war years; meeting at various pubs to have drinks and attract fembots. When asked about Starscream's backstabbing personality, Dropkick states that he's always been like this. "He's a natural competitor, he either needs to be on top or he'll lose his reason to function." |
Stockade |
Sector Seven Cadillac Escalade | "I'm my own 'do whatever I want and get away with it' badge." |
A Cybertronian enforcer who worked under megatron. Like
Terrorcon Blot, he's a natural-born bully who likes to throw his weight
around. "Excuse me. No. I'm nothing like Blot. I'm not a walking chemical plant like Blot. I transform into a nice-an'-shiny Cadillac Escalade. I have a sense of class, flesh creature. Now silence that voice synthesizer of yours and keep typing!" |
Dead-End | Audi R8 | "We are all just nourishment for rust." | There is a certain aura around this Stunticon. Dark, of course; but an aura still. Other Decepticons tend to stay away from him because he's "creepy." Not Dirge's "gothic / stand-up comedy" creepy. Not Skywarp's "plotting for the next prank to pull" creepy. It's the type of creepiness that will suck out all the positivity that you have. However... That's all just an act.
The REAL Dead End, with his high vocabulary and noble accent, is the very model of a modern age Decepticon. AHHORCKH!! *SPIT!!* Pardon me. The REAL Dead End is as sadistic as they come; taking a silently gleeful pleasure in the offensive driving that puts fellow Stunticon Wildrider to shame. To say that "he acts like he's gotten his driver's license from a cereal box" is to totally miss the point about his overall fatalism: "The end will evidently come. So it's better to enjoy yourself than not to." |
Brawl | Modified M1 Abrams Tank | "I was built to be wild." |
Brawl is one of the "older guards" who, along with Blot, were best known for participating in the (illegal) pit fights before Megatron started the civil war. He has the largest number of wins. But it's not because he's some big, lumbering tower of intimidation; he is actually a smart fighter and a survivalist who will do whatever it takes to win. While dedicated to the Decepticon cause of total rulership by force, he's actually likes the humans and their numerous weapons they used to try to destroy themselves. It's just to bad that the Decepticons might have to wipe them out in order to bleed Earth dry of its resources. |
Bonecrusher |
Buffalo H Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Vehicle | "In that case, I say it is survival of the fittest!" |
A brawler by nature who specialized in demolitions.
It's not out of hatred, he says; but for that warm glow he gets when he
sees something or someone come to a violent or crashing end. He
likes watching "train wrecks" (and would probably enjoy every
anime produced by $unrise after Gundam Seed). But then; as Starscream starts his plan to win the hearts and minds of the people over at Carbomya / Azadistan, he would end up winning the hearts and minds of the people for his work in fighting against the occupying American soldiers. Bonecrusher would earn the nickname, "The Claw Hunter." But he states that the extra attention is unneeded since he likes to see things destroyed and nothing else. |
Wreckage |
Armored Personnel Carrier | "The best battles are the ones you choose." |
Wreckage likes the sound of metal scraping along metal.
He likes the smell of charred circuitry as he slices through cords upon
cords of electric wires as he buries his swords into his
opponents. That's why he carries these blades with him. He names his blades after the two fellow Decepticons he lost during the beginning of the war; "Honzel & Gretal." He would use these blades to slash through any Autobot who dares to stand in his way. But deep in his battery... He knows that no matter how many Autobots he slashes... Honzel and Gretal are lost forever. They will never come back. |
Overcast |
MiG-29 | "Cloudy with a chance of DISMEMBERMENT" |
Overcast is a brilliant, and sometimes underhanded, inventor who used to work under Starscream. She was the one who was able to "trick" Acidstorm into joining the "Rainmakers;" telling her that she needs to put her amazing abilities to good use. She's the one who invented the "weather-maker" machines that can be installed onto one's body. She's also the creator of the "nanite bombs" that can cause corrosion on contact (as well as the chemicals to counter them). Despite her strict nature and straightforwardness, she has a couple of embarrasing secrets: 1) Her big brother is Jetfire. 2) She doesn't consider herself a team player; which (thanks in part to Acidstorm's cheerfulness) had been ruled out as "untrue." |
Thrust |
F-35 Lightning II | "My engines' roar is my enemies' song of doom!" |
Thrust is an all-'n'-all stereo-speaker braggart; nearly all bite and no bark. It isn't that he's a total coward; he has enough weapons on him to put up a good fight. It's just that the fight needs to go -his- way or else he'll be the first one to run. A bad experience trying to do battle with one Dinobot (who goes by the name of Grimlock) was more than enough for him. He's also jealous of his little brother Swipedown whose bark can shatters things and bite can do some credible damage. Thrust is one of the few Decepticon air-based fighters that can sport some aerial superiority; he also has VTOL (vertical take-off / landing) capabilities. |
Rampage | Caterpillar D9 bulldozer | "Those who conquer act; those who are conquered think!" | Rampage is, in terms of being some destruction-prode death machine, "adaptive." His participation in the "Beast Wars" as a Predicon, fighting against the Maximals, gives him a great inspiration. He finds a way to be frightening and an effective fighter at the same time. He joins up with the newly re-upped Constructions, forming one of the legs of Devestator. Considered the type to go into rage at the drop of a washer, watching television seems to be the only way to calm him down. |
Blackout | MH-53M Pave Low IV | "He who cares for the opinions of others is lost." | "Towering monstrosity." "An unstoppable hound /
doberman / pitbull." "Mother." Blackout had been known for
many terms. The Autobots put more emphasis on defeating her
whenever she joins the battle. But her recent story behind her is
just that; recent. A natural, level-headed tactician; she had been famous for pulling out the surviving members of her forces from out of the hellish and demoralizing battle with the Autobots at the 17th Tunnels. During a ceremony for the recent decimation of their more famous commanders, Blackout gave them a verbally swift kick in the rear fenders; telling everyone that it won't do anybody any good to pause for the destroyed. "If you want to honor the dead, do it after you completed our goal!" |
Demolisher | Terex Orenstein & Koppel RH400 Excavator | "Everything is worth something, even me." | Demolisher is large, intimidating, and not much else from the usually destructive Decepticons and Constructicons. And desptie his low IQ, he's an expert in reading the moods of the situations. He knows when to lay low and when to use his destructive power. Sensors in his shovel can detect various magnetic, ionic, electrical or gas readings to locate items of value.
During Megatron's absense as he and his followers head to a new solar system, Demolisher became a guardian of a small community (that's responsible for Acidstorm and Sideways). When the "Space Bridge" and been completed on Earth, he and the rest of the Decepticons quickly took their cues and headed toward Earth to help fight against the Autobots. |
Mixmaster | Mack Concrete mixer | "How strong the steel, how quick the conquest!" | "Mix" is the Decepticon/Constructicon's resident cackling chemist. He's an expert in making required ingredients from raw material and losing in slagging mind; not in that order, but hey. He immediately falls in love with Earth and the fact that living creatures exist in ways other than that of Cybertronians. And while not as destruction-hungry as his fellow 'Cons, he's just as creepy and insane. |
Long Haul | Caterpillar 773B dump truck | "I don't DO carrying." | The many Decepticons who value their excess weaponry had learned never to throw it into Long Haul's dump truck bed. Even thought he's part of the Constructicons; a group that's well known for what they build as opposed to what they destroy... When a fight breaks out, Long Haul will be the first on the spot to utilize his strength upon anyone unlucky enough to be in his sights.
Not that he doesn't appreciate helping out with Scrappers "masterpieces," he's just Not Their Slagging Waterboy. His infamy over at the Kaon pit-fighting tournament and his incredibly long winning streak will tell you that. And then that this time when he took on one of the strongest Dinobots (which was Grimlock) and won despite some burnmarks and scrapes on his chassis... |

Prowl | Police Motorcycle | "Through logic, you will find the truth." | One of the original Autobots to chase after Megatron and end up on Earth, Prowl is the Autobot military strategist and Optimus Prime's right-hand-man. A keen Cyber-Ninja expert with elements of Circuit-Su and Metallikato; quiet, competent, loyal, a supply of almost endless patience, and (to his fellow Autobots) a prick.
What makes Prowl an excellent strategist also makes him a horrible socialite. He's unable to get along well with his fellow Autobots, many of whom find his strict adherence to military protocol stifling. He does not react well to the unexpected, to the point that it can literally scramble his cerebral circuits. Dinobot commander Grimlock (who is disorder made manifest), Silverstreak (a constant talking machine), and Blaster (THE NOISE! THE NOISE!!) tend to tick him off more than it should. Plus, for some reason unknown to anyone but Primus himself, he gets along REALLY well with Decepticon Shockwave. |
Blurr | Cybertronian Race Car | "The faster it is, the better I like it." | Seemingly, everything about Blurr is fast. He talks fast, he drives fast, he walks fast... First impressions, and "slow" doesn't seem to be in his dictionary. However; truth be told that he can still respect the word "slow." During his time as a spy and a messenger, he can "wait for the right moment" for months and years on end. And, despite his fast talking and nevousness, he's another one of those reliable Autobots. He and Cheetor, the Maximal he's paired with, get along like apples and oranges due to the latter's easygoing personality. |
Grimlock | Mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex | "We love to munch Decepticon metal!" | Between Cybertron's period of slavery by Quintessons and the middle of the Cybertronian Civil War, Grimlock was a sergeant for the "Old Guard / Crusher Knigts." He, Slagger (a princess of nobility), Swoop (an expert in telecommunications), Snarl (a heavy weapons specialist), and Sludgewalker (a ceremonial pilot) would hail from a war-hating plutocracy. But, in the end, the Autobot plutocracy had been dragged into the war against the Decepticons; a sacrificial effort had kept the Decepticon forces from taking over large areas of Cybertron.
Their rescued sparks would end up on Earth; in mechanical dinosaurs created by Wheeljack, Longarm, and Grapple. Grimlock's suffering from a glitch in his speaking software from long ago continues to this day. Despite this; he still manages to prove himself a strong warrior. He sees the Earthlings as weak but considers Megatron and the Decepticons even worse for pushing them around without a chance to fight back. He considers Optimus Prime one of the greatest Autobot warriors of all time (as well as being a bit wishy-washy in the process) and sees Rodimus Prime as a better Autobot leader who just needs a bit more experience. |
Decepticon |
|||
Blackarachnia | Spider | "Even when I'm good, I'm still bad." | A sultry femme fatale, Blackarachnia is smart, sexy, and dangerous. She's got eight legs, and she knows how to use them. Of the several rebellious Decpticons under Megatron's command, she's one of the very few who can, on occasion, outguile him. Always looking out for Number One, Blackarachnia values her independence and freedom above all else. She would rather be deactivated than be a slave.
When she's not catching Autobots in her webbing and sucking power from out of them, she utilizes her "synthoid form" and aids Azadistan princess Marina Ismial as "Shirin Bakhtiarra." |
Soundwave (w/ Laserbeak) | Scion xB (Dean Razorback V Electric Guitar) | "Cries and screams are music to my ears."
("The only point I like in Autobots: melting point.") |
Soundwave can be considered the most "RIGHT THERE" Decepticon known; being RIGHT THERE under Megatron, being RIGHT THERE with Starscream and Shockwave, and being RIGHT THERE et al. A veteran expert in communications whose use of sound as weaponry (whether to destroy the Autobots' audio sensors or to blackmail his way towards the top of the command chain) is a combination of "legendary" and "a schemer' wet dream." He'd receive large amounts of jealousy from the rest of the 'Cons if it weren't for his personality being as flat as his voicebox. The Constructicon's Mudflap couldn't've said it better when he stated that Soundwave's an "uncharismatic bore."
Soundwave has under his command a loyal collection of "Recordicons." One of them is Laserbeak; one of the most loyal Recordicons to work under Soundwave ever since. Laserbeak is responsible for a lot of the spy jobs (espionage and computer-hacking) until Ratbat took his place (because RB can reach dark and narrow places LB can't). However, Ratbat's too busy auditing and reporting the efficiency of fuel being used. So he's back to being a spy. Laserbeak's new form is that of a Dean Razorback electric guitar; found on the roof of Soundwave's Alt-form and playable BY Sounddwave. Who knew that Soundwave was a guitar player? And a good one at that? |
Blitzwing | MiG-25 Foxbat / Cybertronian assault tank | "Destroy first, think later." | Blitzwing was one of the "final-line Military Hardware" robots who would eventually help the "Consumer Goods" drive their slavemasters, the Quintessons, off of Cybertron. If he was an Earthling, he could be considered a young German scientific idealist during his youth.
It wouldn't be right to call Blitzwing a "war veteran." He's more along the lines of "legendary;" right up there with Megatron's "monstrocity." Who else was brave enough to keep Megatron and Starscream from killing each other. BW was the one who taught Decepticons like Cyclonus the way of "honorable fighting." Blitzwing is one of the few Cybertronions capable of changing into two or more forms. He can turn into an attack aircraft (Mach 2.7, range 1500 miles) and an assault tank (speed 28mph; shoots ice, flame, and explosive missiles). |
Swindle | Humvee | "Make deals, not war." | Swindle is known as the "one-robot black market;" existing on salesrobotship as oppose to revenge, power, or the mere glee of destruction. The "good" things a usual Decepticon stands for. Hadn't Megatron interfered and rightfully blew a hole in his chassie, he would've nearly sold off parts of his allies to the highest bidder.
But despite everything else, he's still a Decepticon. Big nasty gun, built-in weaponry, lying, cheating, and all. During the Cybertron Civil War he would combine with Brawl, Blast-Off, Vortex, and Onslaught to form unstoppable Bruticus. But the Combaticons had dispanded since the war moved towards Earth. Nobody would've thought that a 'Con just as vicious as Swindle would go off on a "giggling like a schoolgirl" spree. More freedom for him to do what he does best; Black Market Business! (For the Decepticon cause, though.) |
Waspinator | Wasp | "Old saying is old saying, 'When situation is bad, situation is usually worse." | Before the Cybertronian Civil War, Waspinator (originally an Autobot known as "Waspen") was basically more of a running gag than any bot to be taken seriously. He joined the Autobot Elite Guard to shake off his "curse." But he ended up becoming a scapegoat when Shockwave (pretending to be the Autobot "Longarm") infiltrated the EG for Megatron. Torture inflicted by the 'Bots had made times horrid for Waspen until the destruction of EG HQ. And Waspen had wasted no time in destroying anything and everything that had an Autobot insignia on it.
Starscream had chosen Waspen (who changed to Waspinator) to help in the splitting-apart of the Decepticon empire. Waspinator's aerial superiority is doubled that of Starscream and Cyclonus combined. And his firepower is small but extremely deadly. Despite his "broken 3rd-person" speech pattern, he's one of the deadliest Deceptcons (to the Autobots) ever. |
