Summary:

A paranormal with oversized ears confronts the group of men who have been tormenting him for two months. A dark looking paranormal approaches the group from behind, and proceeds to start a fight and wins, forcing the group to run away.

A concert, called Pitt-Aid, is being held to lend financial support to the survivors of the 'Black Event.' Angela spots a man who she believes is her father only to turn out to be the paranormal from earlier. One of her friends hurriedly pulls Angela away. Justice and the paranormal from earlier see each other, neither liking what they see. Justice finds Miriam, AKA Playback (see JUSTICE #16), examing several supposed Pitt rocks, trying to find one with a psychic impression. As Justice buys her one, she turns in shock upon seeing him. Justice's attention is momentarily diverted, giving Miriam a chance to escape. She flees through the crowd, desperately searching for a cop and runs into Terrance Updike, who takes her aside and convinces her to join the NSC. At the same time, the paranormal with the enormous ears tries to strike up a conversation with Angela, only to storm off.

Angela heads to the bathroom, as the same paranormal makes a hit on Angela, pinches her butt and gets a punch in the face in return. Justice yanks him away from the stall Angela just entered, as Seraph, the same paranormal that protected him earlier, steps up to protect the paranormal.

They have a discussion about his role, and Seraph's role, before it escalates into an all out brawl between them. Police see the lights of the battle, and move to investigate. Seraph announces Justice's identity, causing the crowd to panic and ran away as fast as possible. The fight continues, Justice gaining the upper hand by using his shields to block Seraph's windpipe, relishing in the sound of Seraph gagging for air. The crowd threatens to trample Angela, so he uses his shields to protect her as several dozen cops try to take him down. They manage to do so after beating Justice senseless.
