~The Friend of Water~

	Ami is a shy and timid girl with an IQ of 300 and is more or less the 'Brains' of the Inner Senshi.  She is calm and caring and when in battle she prefers tactics and stratagy than brute strength.  Though Ami is the weakest of the Senshi she always finds a way to overcome any obstacle whether it being a powerful foe or making sure Usagi did her homework.  A soldier till the end, she is well worth her name as the Senshi of Knowledge.   Ami lives in a apartment(and/or penthouse) with her mother who is a doctor(some say pediatrician).  Her father, in the manga, is a famous artist who was nothing like Ami's mother and only cared about his drawings while her mother was often away at work.  This led to a sad divorce when Ami was very young and though her father moved away, he still sends her birthday cards which he himslef has drawn.  In the Anime, not much of Ami's family life is shown but in the Manga her mother is shown in SuperS as a beautiful woman that looks alot like Ami(I could be wrong but I do believe her mother dates).   Ami is very supportive of her friends and rarely gets angry.  She can be a bit bossy at times but only to encourage her friends to excell and succeed and doesn't like anyone to be angry or displeased with her. Her powers may not be as strong but Ami definetly makes up for it with her strength in mind power.  She is most likely to be understanding and compassionate and can strengthen her mind and heart to do what is right.  Such is the time of the final battle with Metallia and Beryl when Sailor Moon was sobbing hysterically over Jupiter's death and while Mars failed to act(grrr), Sailor Mercury was the one who finally slapped Moon across the cheek and told her that they had to continue on, for Jupiter's sake.(This is never shown in the DiC version....Damn!)   Ami hopes to become a doctor someday like her mom and works hard to acheive her dream, relieing on the extra credit classes she takes and the exams that she's aced.  She was once shunned and called a freak for being so smart and before coming to Juuban Junior High, her life centered around school and studying; Usagi, being the friendly, ever-so cheerful gal that she is, befriended the lonely Ami even before either one knew that she was a Senshi and was Ami's first real friend.    As Sailor Mercury, Ami has control over water and ice.  Though she admits to having the weaker powers the Inner Senshi would not be able to work well together if not for her clever planning.                                           Hobbies:  Reading and playing chess Favorite Food:  Sandwiches (eats while reading...*fun*) Favorite Color:  Baby blue Favorite subject:  Math Least:  None Stuff that she finds annoying:  Love letters and not being able to finish her studies Dream:  To become a doctor
