| Byakuen was there in the beginning when Arago first attacked. He is very intelligent and loves to play with young children. He was Kauso's companion and is a spirit-like guardian as well. He once saved Ryo's life when he was four and after a couple more encounters, Byakuen chose Ryo to be a Trooper and his new partner. He also protects Jun and Nasuti since they can't fight. In the ep. with Kenbukyou (Saber strike) and KokuenOh (Black Blaze), Byakuen is seriously wounded when he tried to retrieve the Kikoutei swords for Ryo. The ep. after that, Ryo goes to face Kenbukyou alone but Byakuen follows and is later fatally wounded while getting one of the swords. Byakuen dies in Jun's arms but with Kenbukyou's dieing wish, KokuenOh is ordered to unite with Byakuen, bringing him back to life. So when Ryo transforms into the Kikoutei, Byakuen transforms into KokuenOh but is called ByakuenOh. He's one kewl kitty cat!!! |
