		Shu is wearer of the Hardrock/Kongo armor.  Shu practices kung fu, one of his favorite hobbies, and one other is eating and since his best friend Shin loves to cook, it makes for a very happy friendship!  Shu comes from a large, wealthy family that is part of a clan of other families, whose ancestors immigrated to Japan during the Ching Dynasty.  His father is owner of a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, Yokohama.  Shu's mother is a master of kung fu and is also his teacher.  We see Shu's Uncle Chin in Gaiden who also owns a restaurant in New York's Chinatown; I think Uncle Chin is very funny.  If you haven't noticed, Chin speaks in third person!   What I like most about Shu is that even though his family is wealthy, he's not snobbish about it or rubs it in his friends' faces either. In and out of battle, Shu is the strongest one physically.  His major weaknesses (besides food) are his temper and stubbornness, which sometimes cripples his judgment and makes him more susceptible to Rajura's illusions, and so much that in one ep. he was made to believe that his armor was evil thinking that if he transformed he would become like the Masho and refused to wear it even though the others needed his help when Shuten returned even stronger and more evil than before.  But, Touma explained that if Shu controlled the armor with his heart and spirit he wouldn't turn evil and thus, Shu transformed...you know the rest!
