Rune Keymoore was an average kid in his early twenties. One night
while with his girlfriend Elaine he was attacked by the
cybernetic-punk gang, Freekshow. Elaine was forced to watch as
Rune was stabbed and beaten.His last coherent memories are of
Elaine being forcibly kissed by a member of Freekshow as she
watched him bleeding to death. His dying body found by Crey
Industries on the trail of a Freekshow leader. While in a shock
induced coma Rune was put under several experiments which gave him
heightened powers over magnetic fields and the force of gravity.
While under these treatments Rune was brainwashed by Crey and
became a memeber of the "Elite Guard" a covert task force of
mutants and psychics who took on missions that Creys Industries
infamous robot infantry were not able to handle. Rune worked for
several months in the guard but the mental stranglehold put on by
Crey was broken during a conflict between the Elite Guard and two
super heroes, Jeremy Grey and Kevin Freese. Rune was left cluless
to his recent past and suffers from near constant migranes .
Rune was invited to join the two super heros, who offered to help
Rune control his growing powers and help curb the side effects the
experiments left him with. Searching for a new life and purpose
Rune joins Tenth Moon in their crusade against evil thinking the
challenge of fighting crime will divert him from his tragic past.
