This is where it begins.....My name? I am Kevin Freese, aka Frostbite. It all started long ago, soon after I was born. As you may imagine, I was an outsider. Different from those around me. Different in mind and to an extent, physically different. Born with white hair, people thought I was albino, but there was one thing that could not be figured out. Why were some strands of my hair blue? Growing up in the rural town of Ashfield, Massachusets was a constant struggle. Everybody expected me to fit in. It was as if they were trying to force a square peg into a round slot. Despite the rigors of everyday abuse and several confontations from other townfolk, I pushed on day by day. But as I grew older, I noticed strange changes. My hair had began to turn a vibrant blue color. The weather was also taking its tole on me. I was constantly sweating, even if it was snowing outside. I also started to discover that things I touched eventually became cold. I wondered...could I be one of those mutants that have been popping up here and there? It was all starting to make sense thereafter. Capitalizing on my newly discovered ability, I was able to develop myself into something far greater than what I origionally thought. Despite all my training I discovered that I had only scratched the surface of my potential. I was eventulally able to curb my hot flashes and finish up my high schooling on schedule. Upon my completion of high school, I decided to further my education. I felt that maybe through education I may be able to better understand myself. Off to South Summit College in Robinson, Texas. That is where I met my dorm mate Jeremy Gray. Upon shaking his hand, he accidentally burned me. I suddenly flashbacked to the days of hot flashes and temporarily numbed his hand. Discovering that he was a mutant as well we became the best of friends. From him I learned the ways of the superhero. He showed me how to use my powers for good. As you can imagine, our college was the safest around, thanks to you know who. After fighting the hardest battle I've ever experienced (physics) I decided to join Jeremy in Paragon City. This is where my story truly begins.......
